It looks like you already have a wallet so the "No existing wallet can be found" message won't appear anymore.

If you want to create a new wallet simply go to "File > New/Restore" and choose "Standard Wallet" then "Create a new seed" and follow the short instructions.

So I download electrum, bring up the "beginers guide" here: http://bitzuma.com/posts/a-beginners-guide-to-the-electrum-bitcoin-wallet/

And what do you know step 1 already a problem, I am told "The first screen displays a notice stating that no existing wallet can be found. Choose the default option, “Create new wallet”. Click “Next” to continue." Nothing of the sort is happening for me, when I open Electrum 2.7.9 I get a black screen with 0 instructions, File Wallet Tools Help.  I'm pissed at the overly techy jerks who thought it would be cute to provide no instructions. Any help would be appreciated.
