Also there is significant support for BCH in that Bitmain will only sell it's ASICs for bitcoincash, which means all buyers have to buy BCH in order to purchase. And Bitmain pretty much has a monopoly on ASICs.

I suppose it's impossible, although the BCH is widely recognized, but in reality, people get it for free, it does not work like bitcoin, it lags bitcoin about everything. So, its value is still very low.

The whales owned thousands of these BCH so if you own several btc then you also owned several BCH and they all are keeping it.

BCH will reach $500 at some point, it could be achieved in several months, we've seen its price when it started. Sooner more miners are going to support it just as how bitcoin were supported and by then we will see its price hit $500.

That’s true. Crypto market is not stable all the time. It is full of fluctuations. The coin which is at the top of the list in market can be at the bottom in the next second. Same is the matter with bitcoin cash. But the pace at which people have dumped this coin, I don’t think so it would be easy for bitcoin cash to touch 500 dollars before the end of 2017.

I don't think Bitcoin Cash will be as volatile as the rest of the other alts. It might get pumped and dumped, but I don't see it dropping to the bottom of the top 100. If it does, I would consider it a failure.

I think it goes back up over time. Maybe not now or in the near future, but usually there are spikes in altcoins when a big whale decides to get involved, and that is when you make your money.
My plan is to just figure out how to get my BCH to begin with... than I'll figure out what to do with it. haha

Price depends on the number of users and uses. Miners will always mine that coin which would be beneficial for them.
Bitcoin is the indisputable leader in SHA section. It's hard for another SHA coin like Bitcoincash or Litecoin to compete with it.

At the moment, I think Bitcoin Cash will be hard to reach at $ 500 threshold, which is pretty hard. Although before its separation from Bitcoin, its value was highly appreciated, but after its independence on August 1, its price has been decreasing or even falling. I guess that because of the Bitcoin stockpile, they claim Bitcoin Cash and then sell it off for profit, which causes the price to fall further. But in the future, it is a promising promising coin, its value will likely rise to about $ 500.

I can't tell yet if bitcoin cash will reach $500 because it is a new cryptocurrency. I think it may because every cryptocurrency have a variation on their value but it may also may not reach $500 because it may drop its value when everyone still use bitcoins and not bitcoin cash. For sure that there's something behind this coin that want to make the price pump and if it will reach another higher amount of price. Yes, this is really, is few hours ago Bitcoin Cash reached to $600 but very it happening very fast because a huge order selling Bitcoin Cash creating after this happens. Its a great competition going on between the buy wall and sell wall .Guys you must look at the order history on bittrex , a great competition. I sold my BCC at $520 as i believe that the BCC supporters are pumping the "Altcoin" and they want us to be fooled. Bitcoin is the king and will stay the king of cryptos.

I think that bitcoin cash is going to have a value in a few years greater than the actual bitcoin price but bitcoin is gonna have a huge price too, look at what happened with ethereum and ethereum classic, after fork and about a year later both overpass the value before the fork, that is going to happen with bitcoin and bitcoin cash. so i think we must hold both currencies and never sell.

There might be initial volatility, but wait for a few days. The supporters of btc will dump their BCH on exchanges.

Yes. I think BCH will directly compete BTC in the future just as how ETH did. There are supporters to it including these exchanges who listed it. Its also here to stay just as all these successful ICO projects we supported. It might even go beyond $1K too.

Surprisingly many exchangers are listing it, or felt forced to redeem coins to their customers.
The pressure goes like "you cant just pocket your customer's airdropped supply yourself!"

And that spreads the coin to many places that might not want to support the concept of forking.

We can't predict it yet since it's new but it's now on $300+.In my country, the most legit virtual wallet here doesn't support bcc/bch so i don't know if i could get some of it. It will pump if people would believe on it's growth.

If that it so, it would be good news to some. But in our country, most virtual wallets do not support the bitcoin cash.

There are some people/corporations with big $$$ and deep pockets behind BCH. It isn't the idealistic perfection that BTC is, but it will for sure get serious development and pushed higher. $500 is just the beginning for this one.

Because for now bcc is unstable off course it is just new and as it was stated needs at least 30 confirmations to a a sure transaction rather than 3 confirmations but it is highly risky. Better yet wait august 10 until everything is fixed because there still reorgs that is happening around the bch chain. The most common advice is don't put everything in 1 transaction so try experimenting a bit if you want.

Yes it looks like it's getting pumped but I doubt miners will mine it at a loss for more than just the short term so it really depends on how interested the actual users are in this coin.

Of course it could easily be a whale like Roger Ver manipulating the price in the hopes of selling it later.
