I personally before using gambling sites always check the details of these sites, after that read some reviews from users. After that I will
decide whether to use it or not, so I think gambling site review has a role important for the success of gambling platforms. And most importantly
I want to see reviews about deposits, withdrawals and provably fair. That is to ensure that the gambling platforms are not scams.

Even we are new and experts to this kind of online casino we always do the checking out the reviews. Indeed that is very important because it is us the user who will benefit once we use their gambling site. To add on, I am gathering information if the site has a good security, license, good customer service, sign up bonuses and also offer giveaways that are attractive to a user. By having the time to gather some reviews at the end we could decide what platform of gambling site to join with.

For me rewards and bonuses are factor especially to the newcomers because in that way, a certain gambler can be encourage to play in that certain gambling site if it have unique rewards and bonuses. The another factor for me is the withdrawal of the sites, there are many gambling sites before who have issues in terms of withdrawal so it is really important to consider after all. I also consider the reviews of other gambler whether it is good or it is bad before I deposit my funds there.
You can also add a contest  where new players are able to win big if they win  in that contest . Contest like highest wager or find the random numbers and win something in return , this kind of promotion can help to get many new user's tried your gambling sites you can also have a giveaway or free ticket to play for first deposit.

If you plan to start that  kind of contest you can post it in games and rounds section.

The first thing I want to see in a gambling platform is those benefits so I can determine if this is worthy to give a try and stay for the long-term. Sometimes there are gambling sites that is for short-term, the benefits are limited and there are only a few giveaways. Second thing is, I want to know all the information that a gambler must know before betting.

It's also a factor if they should stay here for the long-term or short-term. KYC is also a factor, some gamblers don't want to provide any information and just want to play anonymously. The last thing is, the certification that proves the legitimacy of the gambling site and its developers, that's another assurance for the users of the platform.

Well of course dont forget to include the pros and cons of the gambling platform, --these are very important when it comes to comparison to each other and so that gamblers will choose perfectly upon their desire gambling sites. There are ton of gambling review sites out there, you should do something uniquely for people get interest to visit your site. Indeed good, if the website is also users friendly.
However, we know that giving reviews are come from the community, not the review service owner comes from.

Thanks to the opinions here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/opinion-needed-what-do-you-want-to-see-in-a-gambling-site-review-5261708

I've built the following structure below about Gambling Reviews.

What else would you add to this?
The house edge of the games is important if you have the information.
The age of the platform too, how long have they been in business?
Do they allow to invest in their bankroll?

These basic informations should really be mentioned and all sorts which would be preferable or shall we say one-stop read in all info towards the gambling site.
Which had been mentioned
-HE
-About license stuff
-Site existence
-KYC or not
-Wagering requirements

etc.

If people would able to read all in all then that signifies a good review site.

I'd also like an easy comparison of the house edge for different game types—taking into consideration any promotions that are currently running.

Beyond this, some of the other things I can think of are;

1. Are the founders of the casino known or anonymous?
2. Which licenses do they have (if any) and do they even need licenses in their jurisdiction.
3. How many players do they have?
4. Do they regularly offer festive promotions?

Buy $BGL before it's too late!

All I want about a casino reviewing site is just the brief note about the casinos without shilling for it.

Simple and precise, all the details that gamblers should need, it's best for any gambling review sites not to shill and
write only important hints that will benefits the gamblers, things like being honestly fair, good and 24/7 customer
supports, whether KYC is needed and importantly if the site really have the good amount of bankroll so whatever
happened the assurance of withdrawing funds in case gamblers got lucky and win big time.

I would like to see the unbiased review of the people who uses the site without any involvement of the site. Also, the ranking system based as per the user if it can be highlighted will be helpful. Another thing is that a section if can be created like any ongoing issues with any of the sites maybe it could be payment, bonuses not given etc if any such occurrences happen can be in a separate note. And once it is solved the comment can be mentioned it the case is solved something on those lines if possible.

I don't think any user of bitcointalk will give forced review about particular casinos for some reasons like they are wearing theit signature and getting paid from it etc, almost all the points given here are basic and general opinions of individuals.

All I want about a casino reviewing site is just the brief note about the casinos without shilling for it.
well the conclusion is that no one can provide a guarantee that the casino is safe or not for that at least if you want to try a new casino then at least you should be able to look deeper and as much as possible use a balance that is not being used so when your assets will know that the casino is safe or not.

I'm sure people would be more interested in a list of a casino/sportsbetting no deposit bonuses 😁
A list of poker free roll promotions
A list of high pay rates referrals program

And yeah I agree to those who suggest you to add the bitcointalk ANN link somewhere in your site.
I know it would be hard to keep such a gambling sites review to remain netral , there's always a good offer on the table to make certain manipulative reviews.
It's always hard to reject such an offers 😄.

Goodluck with your project.

Thank you all for your opinions.

I updated the list.

I understand that not every person wants to read a 10-page review, so the reviews will be structured

- Short intro with the main points:

   - Pros & Cons
   - Is it provably fair for real? Yes/No (Issues?)
   - How easy could you check the provably fair function? Easy, Moderate, Hard (Issues?)
   - Supported coins
   - Offered games

And then continue with a detailed review for anybody who wants more and clear information on all the topics, based on the real playing experience—trying to be as much objective as possible, staying unbiased.

After playing for a while:

   - Bonuses & promotions: terms, max. winnings with bonus money, do they offer rakeback, tournaments, chat & community events, wagering competitions, etc.

   - User Interface and what experience it's offering

   - Min & Max bets

   - House edge (bookie margin, etc)

   - Offered games in details

   - Supported coins in details

   - Provably Fair system - how does it work, is it really provably fair and how to check your bets

   - TOS - Is there something sneaky. Do they require KYC?

   - Deposits & Withdraws - limits, how easy and how fast they are, etc.

   - Site support & security - How quickly do they answer queries, do they offer 2FA, emergency withdrawing address, etc.

   - Scam accusations - is there any (open) and mark the site.

   - Investment options, if any

   - Licence

With screenshots of the interesting points.

Thank you again. I appreciate it.

These are good points to consider when creating a review for a platform. This will cover the whole concept and scope of the platform if this is present in a review. You can also add a little overview or summary while using the platform, I think this will somehow give the reader a little information about the gambling platform as a whole.

But take note, it is a long review is not really as attractive as it looks. A very short but direct review will be suffice.

But if op is planning to include everything listed and mentioned,  I hope it won't be that too long of a review. For me, it will be tiring to read such a long review. Just an honest review including its pros and cons. And then it will already depend on the gamblers whether he will gamble on that site or not.
I don't really agree with you, I believe it's better to have a complete review than one with missing pieces. Bolded subtitles could help you get to the points you want to read about. There were phone review websites out there that had like 10 pages of reviews and you could choose which part of the phone's review you want to read.. it's nice imo.

It depends but to know that phone reviews and a gambling site reviews does have difference when it comes to key areas that should really be reviews about.

They wont really be on the same page when you do try to elaborate each thing thats why phone reviews does have much longer than gambling sites.

What would you write up that for long on a specific key are in gambling? Keypoints is already enough imho.

Since they have already stated what they look in a gambling review site, even in your first thread. I've also said my opinion there so I don't think I still have something to add since most of the gamblers are just looking for the same thing when reading reviews and it was already mentioned.

What else would you add to this?

These were the OP questions:

What do you want to see in a gambling site review?

I want to understand what people want to read about, besides the standard pros & cons list, supported currencies, etc.

What will you find truly useful in such a review?

Short (head):

Main Pros & Cons
Is it provably fair for real?
Supported coins
Offered games

Then the full review, based on the real playing experience. Trying to be as much objective as possible, staying unbiased.

After playing for a while:

- Bonuses & promotions: terms, do they offer rakeback, tournaments, chat & community events, wagering competitions, etc.

- User Interface and what experience it's offering

- Offered games in details

- Supported coins in details

- Provably Fair system - how does it work, is it really provably fair and how to check your bets

- TOS: Is something sneaky there. Do they require KYC?

- Deposits & Withdraws - limits, how easy and how fast they are, etc.

- Site support & security: How quickly do they answer queries, do they offer 2FA, emergency withdrawing address, etc.

- Checking for open Scam accusations and mark the sites.

With screenshots of the interesting points.

Thank you

I guess one good feature of a Gambling Website Platform is a KYC. It would really be useful for those people to trust the platform BUT they need to make sure that once giving their information, the Gambling Platform won't do something bad with it because building Gambling Websites will take a lot of time before it gains popularity. It should also have an interactive complaint section where their needs are immediately taken care of.

Giving bonuses and referral bonuses are already given to a lot of websites and I guess another thing to add is that make sure the games are not rigged since they can easily discover if they are being scammed.

To me, one of the most important parts of an online casino is the community. If I want to spend my time playing my chances with some bucks, I definitely want a fun community to virtually hang with. So it'd be nice imo if the review includes at least a brief opinion about the community or how active the chat is. I find it quite boring to play alone, so I usually "invite" other players to bet with me at the same time and see who wins the most Smiley

1. Deposit and withdrawal experience
3. License
4. Verifiable Provably fairness in results

These three features are the most important to me, it will make a gambling site much trusted and people will try your platform if the review included those three.

+ License is one of the most needed or required to verify if a gambling site is really trusted and supported by the authorities. If a gambling site don't have any license, then you should doubt their platform.
+ The deposit and withdrawal experience should be seen in a gambling website review to see how fast and how convenient those transactions are so that it is less hassle for the customer to acquire his winnings or to spend more money.
+ Fairness in results is what most of the gamblers are looking at so that they will not feel any biased or unequal about the outcome in a specific gambling game that the customer played.

I am newbie in gambling so that's my tiny list of information that I look for. Experienced gamblers will be able to provide you with more insights.

That's normal for a newbie, to look for a reputable gambling where he can become comfortable accessing it. Just continue to watch more gambling site reviews and don't hesitate to try them so that you know how it works and how it really feels to play in that certain platform.

Most popular gambling sites has the specs and popular features that you need to know about users demand. You could try to visit those sites.
All the above mentioned about of a gambling site is necessary but something about it is missing. In my opinion, i would like an all in one site that has sports betting and casino games.

The most common complaint I notice in all these crypto is when someone comes in and claims scam, and then it is related to double spending (same old story if you know crypto gambling). I wonder if there is an effective and transparent way to assess how each casinos deal with this? I know all casinos want 0 confirmation deposit so that double spending risk is always a problem.

We have seen that zero confirmation deposit wayback but it isnt really been used as of today due to that double-spending issue thats why they do already had that at least 1 confirmation on said deposit.
So far i havent seen any related cases as of this year - maybe i did miss some but so far i havent encountered as of this moment. In topic on what i do like to see in a gambling site review then
i do just need transparency when it comes to review where theres no bias nor just a one sided words just because they had been paid up on said gambling site.

Since I have stated my ideas in detail in the previous topic, I would like to mention briefly about my expectations here. Personally, when I read the review of a gambling website, it contains detailed information about that website, as well as detailed information about how this service has additional advantages over other services, how reliable it is compared to other websites, and the license the website is using. I also check if the information is available. If these data are mentioned, I will read those articles carefully and completely. Such details are very important to me because I pay attention to such details while choosing the service.

@OP, it's very subjective and depends on an individual on what they want to see in a casino review. For me, I look at the below parts more carefully within a casino review,

1. Deposit and withdrawal experience
2. If kyc details are asked while withdrawing big amount
3. License
4. Verifiable Provably fairness in results
5. Support turn around time
6. If they have active community or not
7. House egde

video is best review, you need to sow people its real and you playin and it workin people like to see words are only so far

you mean review in a form of videos or video review ? it didnt came to my head but i remember i see it on youtube where they review a casino  .

there are video review campaigns held on this forum for every new casino . this is a good addition to a written format type of review so that lazy people or simple users that visit the review site can get an overview easily without the need of visiting the link  .  core factors for a review site is also listed already on the first page , i cant think of any to add  .

What will you find truly useful in such a review?

One main point you left out in your list in my opinion, is checking if free bonuses are really paid out if you make a win with that. So you also should test and review this point. Over the years I have gained a lot of experience on gambling sites and have registered with many of them using a freebonus code. From my experience many sites are making problems if you make a bigger profit with this bonus. Often reasons are given why the winnings cannot be paid out or your account is simply banned and they no longer respond to support requests. Or they suddenly ask for a KYC without being a prerequisite according their ToS.

it would also be nice to have a community-based opinion from different forums about the website. it would be nice to have it as an addition to all the things that have already been listed since it is sometimes better to hear what gamblers have to say of what they think of the gambling site they play on.

Withdrawal fee and speed could be added to a review site which will be very helpful for the people to identify gambling sites with faster and cheaper transaction fee.And which country citizens are not allowed to play because some casinos might not have license to operate on specific regions so if you give enough research and find the list for gambling sites then it will be one of the unique feature.

I don't really like review site, some are just being manipulated and we will not have an honest and transparent review. Yes, of course, there are genuine reviews but we cannot tell how many of them are not a dummy. I remember before an ICO is buying positive reviews in their projects to attract users and investors in to their platform. So the authenticity of this review site is not really convincing unless you knew and have tried the platform yourself for a long time.

I believe it depends on the values of the owner of that site.  Though I agree that the majority of the review sites are created to shill but there are also some that do their job honestly.  That being said, I always wanted to see review sites that have a genuine user experience narrations aside from the site options and features.  And, I believe this is too much but most important, I also wanted to see review sites revealing if the site is licensed by the government or not.

The only thing I want to see in a gambling site review is the number of scam accusations.
Was anyone scammed when he deposited coins in that particular website? Was someone scammed, when he tried to withdraw his coins? This is the most important stuff, the rest is just insignificant.
I would gamble on a website, which has bad design and even some flaws here and there,if I am 100% sure that the website is legit and not scamming players.

Having review in a specific gambling site is really important, most of the people, who are afraid of being scammed always read som reviews bout the website, you may see some negative feedback or positive feedback for the site and you can use it for your basis if you are going to try the website or not. If you see that most of the comments are not good then I think you should try it because you will experience the same thing, that is why creating reviews is important, it will tell you whether the site is worth it or not. You may also see the cons and pros of the website in the feedback or reviews.

only on a specific site bro ? what about the others  . all gambing sites must have there own reviews not just few of them and that review site should be seperated from this forum or have its own domain  .  i guess you already know why i said that   . its because not all people are familiar to some site that you already are familiar with   . you can be familiar to many sites because you are a member of this forum but im more concerned of the normal users that arent engage on cryptos .

Yep, I will build a gambling review site.

And I want to build it based on what people want to have in it.
Before using a gambling platform most people try to get details about that site. As a result finally they take their decision by collecting other users review about that specific platform. So you can say that review has been so vital for any kinda online related business just not only for gambling platforms.

I will suggest you to keep an separate section which will contain every gambling platforms official ANN link of bitcointalk (If have) and your site visitors can easily get more details by visiting bitcointalk users discussion pages through that link.

No more Rekt and Bust
Comparison tools will add value. For example, the juicy odd comparison and the variance of live betting options will give an idea which bookie has the best odds market performance before the game starts. Having a different odds provider comparison tables will change things, IMHO.
There is a need to list the A+ bookies with the education blog or portal, some bookies teach how to read the data but most of them ignore this part in sake of having impatient, uneducated gamblers.

I don't really ask much from a gambling site review. I just want it to cover what's important for a player, particularly in terms of betting, how fair the games are, what games are in there, what kind of bonuses they offer and other things along those line. You basically covered pretty much what I want to read on such a website. Also, I want the reviews to be as true as possible, and no paid reviews should ever be posted in there (is there even such a thing?) as I believe it loses the credibility of the reviewer and the site being reviewed.

Special mentions on the best and the worst sites to gamble is very much welcome too. Kinda like top picks of all time with a brief statement as to why you chose those in the first place.

Not to be judgmental in most review sites but they are most likely to end up like this on where paid reviews or biases would be there since we know on what are the ways on where review sites can make money neither on traffic or simply getting it from companies that do try to look themselves better publicly thats why im not really expecting that much that they would really be on that trusted in-depth review of a particular gambling site.
On topic, all points had already mentioned out and theres no need to repeat. People do mostly like to know about Fairness and other related stuff inclusive towards the site.
Can we name it?
This is only my perspective to them regarding their service because most of my friends don't like this trust review service and that is Trust Pilot. Correct, even they are a popular site until that has a review from other user but we don't know if the viewers are genuine not a dunny account which is possible.

At first glance, I guess the UI of the site followed by the fairness of the game and the quality of service.

^ Definitely right, it is easy to use random dummy accounts and give positive reviews even though the site has going shady stuff towards its users.
Sometimes we think, Ohh it is almost convinced me through their fake reviews. In choosing a perfect gambling site, we should test first with a small amount of money and use their freebies as a welcome bonus if they have, like free spin or faucet. Nevertheless, this is only my opinion I won't blame other gamblers who were relying upon reviews of random users that we even don't know.

If you are reviewing a casino that is found in bitcointalk then maybe adding the ANN thread they have here in the forum will likely be good for the casino. This will also be transparent so that anyone will also see what other people say about them and not just the information you provide. Maybe also the promo of the casinos and whether they allow bankroll investment.

Since you were asking in the other thread, I will put my suggestions here. But it's all about betting, because I am not into that casino stuff (I just use the free spins you get from time to time^^). And I am not really using review sites, I like to check the sites on my own and I often find these reviews very non-telling tbh. Aaaaaaaaaaaand I don't like ref-links Grin

In a review (about a bookmaker) I would like to see:

  • Information about the vig.
  • Information about general staking limits (can be general like low, medium, high etc.)
  • The odds provider they use.
  • A hint about how fast you get limited.
  • If they are frontrunners with publishing their odds.

In general I would like to see following pages/features:

  • A betting agent review site (with partners, fees, deposit/withdraw options etc.)
  • A page with general industry news.
  • A (frequently updated) overview of bookmakers and their mirror sites, where you are allowed to open an account too.
  • An overview of bookmakers and the odds provider they use.
  • A list of bookies to avoid.

I initially thought that you are going to build a gambling review website? No?

Anyhow, you have taken down notes already and I would agree that it is good gauge for a gambling review sites. And those structures will come in handy if ever you build the website and please let the gamblers know so that we can give you constructive criticism.

Yep, I will build a gambling review site.

And I want to build it based on what people want to have in it.

If you have so many gambling games that you already review, maybe you can create one page about guidelines to play every game because I believe that not all people will know how to play the gambling games, even for the easiest gambling games. The guidelines will help new people when they visit the gambling games for the first time, so they can visit on that page, read how to play the games, and with the bonus that they got from every gambling game, they can start to try the games. The guidelines will be available for all of the gambling games that are available on every gambling site.

Thanks to the opinions here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/opinion-needed-what-do-you-want-to-see-in-a-gambling-site-review-5261708

I've built the following structure below about Gambling Reviews.

What else would you add to this?

Thank you
