i too feel its a good idea.
looking at power consumption and heat generated are good ideas.
i would include some additional specs to allow users to discuss specific revisions of said reviewed card.
there is wealth of user data out there to be tapped.

You are awesome.

The site is looking tight, but yes empty as you said it would be, just a good simple wordpress set up that already puts your site a million times further ahead than most the other start up sites I see.  I guess the only thing I would say is abuse the categories since you will be so focused on specific goods.  Have a category for each company maybe?  I'm not sure the full mining market and what they go for, so I guess not knowing the rest of all that, looking good.  Good luck.

Edit: Maybe take out wordpress text.  Also look into affiliates within the community here.  I am guessing with e-commerce linking directly to related things is not as nice as a blog would be, but look toward blogs to link exchange maybe.  Don't make referral links so dominant if you are going to have them as your main links.   Maybe a 'we accept bitcoins' logo or something (they have those premade graphics on bitcoin.it)

Thanks for the thoughts guys. I know I'm a little late to market with this, but that's just how these things go. Bitcoin is still young. I don't see that GPU stats page as competition. Its just a sheet of data, im looking at providing more in depth reviews and opinion.

Certainly such a review is helpful if you are considering what card to buy. But of course, the use of such a site depends on its coverage of the available hardware of the market. Consider how you can compete with https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison . For example, you should measure the power consumption of the cards.

Looks nice. If you need more content there is a wiki comparing the hardware already.
But IMO the site should of been created a month back and as such it wont get as much popularity as it would of.

I was thinking of going along the avenue of computer hardware site style reviews of GPU units but with a distinctly Bitcoin spin on them.

Example HD5850 article(knocked up in a few mins for demo purposed, be kind  Cheesy)

Thoughts and feelings? Is there a demand for this sort of content in the Bitcoin community?
All constructive criticism welcome.
