To me the project seems well run....the staff are always about to answer concerns and the project appears to be going i the right direction.
For me this is a winner and stands out from the crowd.

Thank you all for the feedback.

You're registered since today and you're accusing us since that. Seems to me quite suspicious as well. We don't waste our time with haters (that even didn't contributed in any kind to our project except for accusatory / fake statements), and you seems exactly that type.

So before do false any other accusation based on stock pictures, wireframes & other useless stuffs please think.

1) We don't need to provide to you (or any other) any type of financial data at this stage. We are a registered company, a real one, working in a product and a field that is becoming every day more "interesting" for other companies. For that reason we need to protect our company (and investor) first. This means that we cannot disclose at this stage every contribution and from where it came or any other financial data that can be used by a competitor.
2) We started the development of the project less than a year ago and it's quite normal that not everything we designed and presented is ready yet. We decided as well to not go on exchange before providing PRODUCTS to our community to avoid massive dump and lost for everybody.
3) Stock images are quite common in every website, doesn't mean is a scam. Most of ADV use stock images.
4) If you were in the Telegram group you saw that even the CEO answer to the questions and in case he cannot he always explain why. So what do you want more?
5) Bot on the telegram, is useless to ban them, they always re-appear (as well in some thread). We cannot be everywhere all the time and we care about how we spend money from our contributors. Spending money on paying somebody to kick silent bot doesn't seem to us a good "investment".

And again, you're not sure about us? Don't waste your time with us then. Otherwise seems exactly what described (an hater or a competitor trying to FUD) and we need to start the legal process against you.

That will be our first and last message in this thread.

I fail to see how my subscription date is relevant. I have been following the thread since a long time and decided to create an account when I had questions to ask. I actually invested money and CPU power in your coin, that is not what I would expect from a hater. I want to believe in your coin and I have been trusting it for a long time, I still am so far, but I have questions, like other people in the thread or in the Telegram channel.

I am not accusing, I am asking questions that others have asked before, but since you decided I should not ask those questions in the LAPO thread, I am asking them here. Please note that I didn't say you are a scam, this very thread is titled "Opinions on LAPO?". I asked for opinions and just posted what I could collect, making it clear that nothing alone is enough to prove anything, and there is no accusations or fake statements on my side. I would appreciate not being despised that way while I actually made sure not to state things I could not support.

1. Of course you don't. No one asked that. But there is a gap between having millions showing up on the website and people in the community asking for details, and disclosing banking data of the company.
2. And that is appreciated. Again, please don't see me as a hater. I have been involved in your coin for weeks, full swing, all I want is to be confident enough to invest more money on top of what I already invested because I started to be concerned with you deleting posts that ask questions.
3. Yes they are common and it doesn't mean it is a scam, and I believe I didn't say the opposite.
4. Banning bots instead of counting them until the 10k threshold is reached to celebrate would be a good start. I am in the Telegram group and I was not impressed by the way the community is managed, but I have admit I saw people from the staff posting. And this was a good thing. Again, I am not at war. I asked questions calmly, then a bit more firmly when some guy posted a very pompous message that added up to the rest, then asked here because I was censored.
5. This is a valid point, and I was all ears to hear it from you. I think it would have been sound to post that in the thread instead of deleting posts because this is actually more suspicious than anything else, and might spread a bad image that you may not deserve.

Was that actually a threat to sue me for asking questions and putting weird details together to justify asking? I did not claim anything that I could not support, and I was very careful not to call you a scam. Please re-read if you think I did, because I don't think posting what I posted would be a valid case in Switzerland or in my country.

I don't know anything about that project, so I can't give an informed opinion on it, BUT I would suggest that if you own any of that coin don't get attached to it emotionally.  Sell when it's time to sell.  I say that because what you described (using bots, censoring criticism) sounds exactly like all the other projects that have gone scammy, and that might be what's happening with LAPO.  It's just a hunch on my part based on what you wrote and what I've seen in the past with other projects.

Also, images from their website seem to come from other websites.
I'm pretty sure a lot of sites do this, but I also agree that it's not a great sign.  How many ICOs have we seen that were caught with fake developer profiles?  You'd think new ones would want to avoid even the suspicion of shenanigans.

I've been involved with LAPO since the very start and therefore been mining and exploring the project for a while. That includes their communication channels.
I agree that it's a problem that the LAPO team is deleting seemingly reasonable posts in their official thread. It's resembling a quite strict censorship, which they are allowed to, but those post should be answered and debated not deleted IMO.
Your posts, which lets be honest are raising questions, should be answered to avoid any confusion and misunderstandings later on.

Regarding the images you've found via Google image search, those are probably common stock images and nothing that I would worry to much about  Smiley

Anyhow i'm sticking with LAPO as I truly believe it has potential to grow strong  Smiley

Also, images from their website seem to come from other websites.

Example with https://lapo.io/lapo_eplatform.html:

https://0x0.st/s43I.png

Google search on these two images:

https://reho.st/0x0.st/s430.png

Same result for any other images on this webpage. Try https://lapo.io/assets/img/prod_N.jpg where N is a digit from 2 to 9. These images might just be images that any company can buy to use in ads and promote their services, and they are obviously not a sufficient reason to doubt about LAPO. However, for a company that accumulated millions recently and have 20 people in the staff, it seems weird that they would use generic images used in websites ranging from yoga to dating. Altogether, there are many details that raise questions. Questions that they prefer to delete.

I've been mining LAX (lapo.io) for a long time so I really hope it's not a scam, but their behavior is getting fishy since they avoid answering the concerns of the community regarding the ICO sale since weeks, seem to be warmly welcoming swarms of bots in their Telegram channel, and even deleted the posts in which I and someone else were asking them to support their statements after another member raised questions.

Their thread is self-moderated and therefore they are allowed to delete any posts without justification, but I don't think this is the best way to solve a situation of growing concerns. In fact their reaction makes me even more suspicious, as it wouldn't have been difficult to show facts and clear any doubts. They decided my posts were not welcome in their thread, but since I didn't break any forum rules, I don't think there is anything preventing me from posting the same in a thread that doesn't belong to them, so here are the posts they deleted:

https://reho.st/0x0.st/s43c.png
https://reho.st/0x0.st/s43b.png

Hopefully they will answer, this is genuinely what I am hoping. I would prefer them to prove me wrong than the opposite.

Any opinions?
