I would like to share my experience with GPU engine and memory clock tweaking. If you are mining scrypt-based coins on GPUs, you probably know that each graphic card has an optimal ratio of core frequency to memory frequency, a sweet spot, where the hash rate is highest. These frequencies differ for every graphic card.

Automatic rig optimization
I made a program "cgminer_optim" (CGO) which automatically adjust the core and memory frequencies using advanced optimization techniques to achieve maximum hashrate in CGminer. I was able to increase the hashrate of my rigs (one with two 280x and one with two 290x) by 15%.

Features
* CGO works remotely using CGminer's API. No software needed to install on your rig.
* CGO works with modified version of cgminer 3.7.2. You need to replace "%.2f" to "%.3f" in your cgminer.exe file, because CGminer reports the hashrate in hundredths of MH/s and for optimization you need thousandths of MH/s. You want the precision to be 1 kH/s, not 10's of a kH/s. I can also send you the modified file and you can compare it with the original using WinDiff or similar tool, if concerned about security.

If you would like me to optimize your rig, reply or send me a PM.
