Seller claims that they didn't send it from warehouse deals but it can be a fabric mistake.  Anyway since I have a good history with them they are offering a replacement or refund. I cannot tolerate another shock so I requested that they check their stock against same issue. I noticed that one of the 1 star ratings mention similar issue.

I also bought a RX 480 from Amazon that was sold by Amazon as new. The card they shipped had obviously been repackaged and the serial number didn't even match the label on the box. I decided to give it a try, since they are no longer available anywhere. I had to return the card after no matter what I did, the card would not mine for more than 2 minutes before crashing. So they clearly sold me a defective card that had been returned instead of sending it back to the manufacturer.

If op has a good record he should win Amazon.

This is why I stopped selling pc's on eBay buyers would say gear does not boot.

Send back a pc missing the ssd !

I won two cases and decided to end my pc sales.

This fraud is hard to stop.

Stupid fraud BTW.  The switcher will get caught.

If you order from Amazon warehouse this happens about 1 of ten buys.

Guys be aware, someone who thinks he is clever probably switching labels and serial numbers of cards and returning lower quality card in the box of good card back to seller.

I've ordered 2 GTX Gaming X 1080 ti from Amazon and received products in schedule. Checked first product and it was indeed 1080ti gaming x. The second one was almost same card, but with a few weird things. First of all it had only one power socket. However, stickers were mentioning it is being a 1080ti. Box too..

I've sent an email to Amazon and looking to hear their response.

I hope they find the guy who did this and charge him at court.
