Yeah, reddit is a generally a very friendly and knowledgeable community, although as it grows obviously this is somewhat diluted, but overall I would still say the quality is high.

Karma system really keeps quality in check.  Helps bias stay out mostly and leave it as a good general news source.

This.  Reddit and all it's subreddit's have always been better than the ex-Official Forums.

Can't beat a built in user/comment karma system that everyone always wanted as a feature on these boards.


All you message board owners, make sure all links pointing to your site are with the keyword "Bitcoin Forums"

All you people wanting to just spam the people who are looking for Bitcoin discussion from the Official site, target the term "Bitcoin Forums"
