You are right in this case, that forum you speak of is good, but I believe that here in bitcointalk it is superior when it comes to altcoins, because there are many users who are always looking for a way to detail each project and find out if it is worth it or not , here the issue of reputation is very taken into account, also you only have to take a look and only when in 2021 they were dealing with the issue of NFTs, very few projects were those that put ANN threads within the forum, the main reason was because in most of them ended up being ponzi schemes or scams in their entirety.

I am wondering why you are not considering bitcointalk to be one of them. Is it because people here are critical about altcoins and the usual consensus is buy Bitcoin, dump altcoins? In that case you are suffering from lack of confirmation bias. You may be someone who is investing or have invested in an altcoin but is lacking faith in holding that coin for the long term.Can you please tell me if there are and which ones are the best?

If you are just looking for information and research on new projects than no forum is sufficient. You have learn to do that on your own. The forum can only be an announcer of newly launched projects not a determinant of what is profitable and what not.
Even then 99% of altcoins are scams and failures. So you have to watch out but you will still get scammed.

If there is a particular cryptocurrency that you would like to be getting information about, then you would have to join their telegram group or follow them up on discord. So far I don’t think that I have seen any other forum where they discuss about alternative cryptocurrencies in general, it is mainly bitcointalk.org forum that I come to get information about altcoins. Maybe you can try checking on reddit.com, there are some subreddits that are dedicated to discussion about altcoins.

There is no forum so far that is a ahead of bitcointalk.org as we are on it. This forum is well organized and largest. The boards are easily understandable. You have all you can get here and scam is not encouraged here. You can discuss presale, ICO etc plus bounty and signature campaigns are advantage. However I use to know about few of them but I don't know how far they are doing now. Some of such are cryptotalksworld.org. also bitcoingarden.org. You can search more for yourself.

Taking time to know the project purpose and developer's background is vital rather than just talking to strangers in there. You'll be quite safe if you make your own full search about the projects.
The best cryptocurrency forum still remains Bitcointalk as there are lots of people here and also it is the main forum that started the cryptocurrency community. So this is definitely the best place to be or you can be also checking out social media like Twitter.

Oh nice info I didn't knew that it's now possible to earn money in reddit because what I thought before is reddit is only for free discussions but I think reddit is very strict so someone that is only intention is to earn will be filtered out easily by the moderators even if we say that they write something useful or something that is related to the topic.

Well, it is not easy. You need to be constantly there and constantly getting upvotes and all that, and in just one subreddit that I know (maybe valid in some others but I do not know) and you would need to read up on it. But, I would suggest actually checking it on the subreddit itself and seeing how it works would be better. Obviously it is not a great income maker, you will not earn much from it unless you are spouting out incredible content, but that is how they turned that place into an information place and avoided spam.

That forum was totally crap. Bunch of spammers and you will never find a good discussion there. Even if altcoin section in this forum is just a sub section but the quality from this forum compared with it is actually different. I think that there's no reliable altcoin forum other than this. I remember that there was also a forum called bitcoin garden and something else but these forums are also full with spam. It's better if he was joining directly into the telegram group that managed by the project. This may become the best choice for him consider that if he will get nothing if he was only find garbage forum.

No doubt that Bitcointalk is the best forum for altcoins and Bitcoin or Reddit should be better. I have an account too in altcointalk but I'm never active there anymore.
IMO, this forum is good for discussion of all cryptos, we have also scam busters here that are very useful to avoid being scammed.
This forum is already the best for serious altcoin discussion, you can look in the ANN section of the altcoin you are looking for and usually have their events too. Other forums have been inserted by community in above which is aimed at altcointalk and those are the top two forums in my opinion, there is bitcoingarden too but if you want to find developments regarding the altcoin project you are looking for, then you have to follow their channel on twitter or official telegram.

Personally I think this forum is the best source of information you can find, as in here not only you will find supporters of the coin but members of the community that will actually ask questions to the developers about the project and you will have a chance to see if they are legit or not, however if you really want to explore other options then reddit could be a good option, as there is a strong community there as well which is interested in cryptocurrencies in general, even if find the quality of the discussion there to be significantly lower than what we can find here. Other forums are not yet that popular although some crypto casinos have also forums they're mainly focused on the casino itself although some discussions about altcoins are too but not that too active as these other forums that everyone is suggesting.

It can be the best for you to find a gem because it always gives you updated information about the sale or listing, but it also can be your worst place because it showed everything without the proper information. The majority of coins/projects you will see there is garbage or scam, so do not be surprised if you see 9 out 10 are scams.

There is altscointalk forum but I don't just like the platform, the design and other things are a big turn off for me, I have account on the forum but stopped visiting the forum already I choose bitcointalk forum over it for few reasons, everything about altcoins can be found here.

Yes there are other forums that talk about altcoins the one that comes close to Bitcointalk forum is altcoinstalks.com/ there are a lot of topics and top altcoins in the market have their own sections I have a legendary account here I am not fully active here because of my offline job, this forum is good for those who invest in altcoins.
