@OP or anyone that just did bought by the time OP posted this, you're in profit by now. But not that much for those small capital that has been done but that's still good, a gain is a gain and that's the start that you should do some more as you grow on this market. You'll crave for more but it also needs to be done with care before you do it because risk will never be gone and you have to determine how good you are in taking it.
If the rise that happened lately will continue then most of the predictions about a good price for the end of this year might happen.

China deserves to be hated by the crypto community, because it always causes trouble and repeatedly spreads FUD. With the Chinese government that states ban Bitcoin, has a bad effect on the market. But we should not be pessimistic and negative thinking, it will only make us stressed and panicked. I still believe Bitcoin will recover, and could return to ATH prices before the end of the year. So I prefer to ignore the negative news regarding Bitcoin and focus on collecting Bitcoins until my target is achieved.
I would assume that by this time we should have been just ignoring them already, right? I mean I do not get why people are still getting FUD as soon as China says something bad regarding crypto, let it be because we all know that it will not be something too huge, it will be something that is expected and for some reason people are still getting worried about it.

I personally feel like it is business as usual whenever they something bad and it is not logical to see them actually do something that would hurt bitcoin, they do not have that power anymore, they keep making bitcoin more and more illegal, I do not remember how many times I heard "China bans bitcoin" news in my life, it is always a different part of it, but they keep banning it probably twice a year for the past 5 years. If we are still not used to it, that is on us and not on them.

We can see the current Bitcoin price is up 11% in 24 hours, this proves that we really don't have to worry too much about the circulating FUD.
Because eventually Bitcoin will recover, and if we can be patient with the circulating FUD, then we can make a profit. Like you said, China has
banned Bitcoin so many times, I can't even remember how many times China has done that. The conclusion is that if we believe in the future of
Bitcoin, don't be influenced by the circulating FUD, if the price of Bitcoin falls it is normal. So just focus on collecting Bitcoins, let the Chinese
government do what they want, because as long as we don't panic everything will be fine.

And its no good for us to get panic with the movement even if there's a fud spreading since we can actually earn back what the value decreased once the pump back happen since for sure whales always buy up at cheaper price and pump bitcoin back again to gain profits.
Panic is always a bad attitude, it can trigger us to sell our Bitcoin at any price, even it is at a very low price. I never sell my Bitcoin when I am in a panic, I prefer to check everything first or do some analysis before making a decision. FUD is one of the biggest challenges for crypto holders, I am very aware of this. I know FUD is mostly created by whales to make use be fear. So, sometimes I just ignore it if I think it is not necessary.

When I see the current market situation I feel that it is actually not really a good time to buy because we already reach lowest point in recent bitcoin price fall period. But I think it still okay to buy because we still can expect profit as long as we hold for long term, maybe for around 2 or 3 months. And I am sure that it is not the right time to sell because maybe we will face a bullish market trend again soon. So in my opinion it is just a correct time to hold. I already bought bitcoin and some cryptocurrencies when it's price almost reach lowest level so I actually have good position right now, if I sell now then I can get small profit but I will not do it. I will wait.
it goes back to the rights of each person with TA and the research they make.
and maybe what you say is true now is not the time to buy, but it only applies to people who indeed they are here only to trade daily.
but when we are here for long-term investment it really doesn't really matter when buying now and what is certain is that when it is purchased you must be ready to hold the coin.
and perhaps the most important thing here is that it will actually be very easy when we are in a position to buy and sell and it will be difficult when we are in a position to hold coins.
so, take advantage of the time while we can add coins, why not do it. because it is never too late to adopt coins, especially for long-term investments.

on the trading style you choose, as there has been an impromptu decline in

The fud isn't over yet so most likely the market is going to declined further. China are still dashing out more fuds with their recent news. I'll recommend not going all in now unless you have long term plans. For now you can buy into the market in fractions so you have funds left to get more discount coins if the fud continue further.

We might most likely test the $39k price range in the near future but that shouldn't take out the fact that the market still has some bullish strength left maybe just one push and this will be happening before the end of the year so you should be seizing every opportunities the market is currently presenting to get hold of discount coins.

The essence of holding down a coin is for a long term profit and with long term profit in view bear moments wouldn't be much of a concern to you most especially if you invest in a project such as bitcoin.  If you bought and the price decline hold-on if possible buy more and hold with the expectation of more profit.

I think that in the future a new high price will be reached for bitcoin, currently the price movement is quite stable without any significant movement after the price correction a few months ago, so I really like what many people have said about the prediction of bitcoin price which will reach 100k, I think it will be when the bull market comes in the near future, hopefully.

The current price fluctuation of bitcoin according to the latest news trend about chain given some restrictions on mining, at this particular time it looks a bit scary for me to invest anything can happen. But the trust I have in bitcoin gives me the zeal that it will surely rise. Therefore this is a time to hold and have more patience as it will do well soon.

The current situation of Bitcoin price doesn't give me a green light to be honest. After China government stated that it has banned cryptocurrencies, the market and Bitcoin have been affected badly by the news. Lately, it is trying to hold onto a level above $40k. But I'm afraid of the possibility that it will go down to a level between $30k and $35k again and get stuck there for a long time.

What have you noticed lately about the price fluctuation of our dear bitcoin?
So far, there is nothing wrong with Bitcoin fluctuation. If there is a pump and dump, it is normal, can happen in any crypto coin. Because it is a bullish season, we still can expect that Bitcoin price increase again after the current dump. So, don't worry about your Bitcoin if you are still holding some. Just wait for the next pump, then you can sell it at your expected price.

We are in open market so we can really assume to have that movements since not everyone can able to hold and also many do a dump and pump scheme on this that's why fluctuation always happen on the market. And its no good for us to get panic with the movement even if there's a fud spreading since we can actually earn back what the value decreased once the pump back happen since for sure whales always buy up at cheaper price and pump bitcoin back again to gain profits.

Judging from the downward trend experienced by this new market, it can be said that it is still within reasonable limits and now is certainly the right time to buy bitcoin or some other popular altcoin, Bitcoin has the potential to return to $50k more because during the recent downturn bitcoin has been trying to return to that price level but bitcoin was only able to stay at $48k for a while and then the price fell again to date.

seeing the fluctuations in bitcoin movements, this is actually a pretty good thing and as for buying bitcoins, there's actually nothing bad when buying any amount for now.
what must be done for now is maybe don't panic and don't get carried away into fud that can harm yourself, and maybe the most important thing now is to hold on as strong as possible because this can make you better if you need to add your assets as much as possible so that at least you can be calmer here.
Based on its chart, the price has been around $42k to $45k and it always comes back and forth. So if you are planning to buy now and hold it for long term, then i think it will be a positive move. Although we are not in its dip price, but we know for sure bitcoin will never stays in dump but it will always  comes up rising. So never doubt on buying bitcoin now. We might wake up the following day and sees bitcoin has crossed the resistance level of $45k, and it will move forward by then.
that's a sure thing and actually it's still a pretty low number compared to a few months ago.
and indeed there is nothing wrong and it is never too late to buy bitcoin because indeed if you look at the graph, you know that bitcoin continues to progress rapidly and it is not impossible for bitcoin to be able to shoot even more months from now.
just waiting for the right momentum and hoping that bitcoin adoption will increase this year so that there is good news that emerges after a few days of bad news.

It is 100% definitely not the right time to sell. Nobody could know how much it could drop, maybe if you buy right now we may never see this price again, maybe it will go up so much that we may never drop a single dollar under this price, or maybe it is going to drop so much more, who knows maybe drop as much as 10k or 20k and that would be the best time to buy bitcoin.

However, selling is different, selling means that you know it will drop, there is no "maybe" about it, after you sell your coins that's final, unless it drops then you will be in a loss. This is why I would assume that if we already "know" that it will go up, and only "assume" it may drop, then we should act according to what we know and not what we assume.

Yes, this is an opportunity for you to buy as much as possible considering bitcoin is in a very deep correction. So don't be afraid to invest because we believe bitcoin has a good future and the price will be much better than now. The most important thing is not to panic too much so you don't lose money.

With the advent of China's policy, it is still difficult for the price of Bitcoin to rebound quickly. Recent news that is not conducive to Bitcoin has caused many Chinese to sell Bitcoin. This is the fundamental reason why its price cannot rise. At the same time, due to restrictions on exchanges in China, the channels for converting fiat currencies into stable currencies such as USDT are limited. The decrease in incremental funds in the market is also one of the reasons why the price of Bitcoin cannot rise.

China is the country with the most active crypto users, all of China's policies always affect the price in the market. but I'm optimistic that by the end of this year we can get new ATH.

Recently the Chinese government has banned all types of crypto. I think this has had a negative effect on Bitcoin. So the market has gone down a bit. But soon Bitcoin will overcome this push and the market will pump again. So I think its a good time to buy.

it may have negative impact at the moment but i highly doubt the effect will be long. the community is already in warning for this move when they ban the bitcoin mining and now, they are totally banning the use of crypto. we may see slight drop but i believe the market will go up again. the good thing here is that the crypto market is not monopolised by one country but the market is very diverse no single country has the control of it. china may have large percentage in terms of miners but eventually this will change, as miners across the globe can just find new territories that can set-up their mining facilities.

When I have to talk about the price of bitcoin, which at the time has been affected by circumstances like these, I have mixed feelings, I tell myself that I must remain calm, the bad moment will soon fade because bitcoin is proof of everything.

Evergrande's bankruptcy caused the cryptocurrency market to crash. We have a large community of Chinese investors.

Regarding bitcoin, I have recently seen on Coingecko that there is a warning not to visit the bitcoin.org website. Because it's not safe. I don't know what's going on, it saddens me a bit because I learned a lot about bitcoin on that site.

It's ideal to buy bitcoin for the past few days because of its low price position. The dip is something we should always take advantage of most especially if we plan to store bitcoin for the long term. Doing technical analysis before we buy and sell is very important to avoid regret later on. We must always remember one of the golden rules in investing and trading which is the "buy low, sell high" to make a profit and to avoid losses. Although for the sure price of bitcoin will still go down, depending on the news articles, movement of whales, and the likes. It's just up to us to know when is the right timing to buy, sell, and hodl.
Usually, we simply think that every dip is an opportunity to buy and this has been a common practice anymore. Even we don't use TA but as we can see the majority of the projects are in declining including the known and top coins. if we are into the look and have a plan to invest, this is really the chance to move. But on the other side, we don't expect for the recovery will even to start as soon as possible. No, and in fact, there is a chance that the declines will push more down and wait for it to gains support before the recoveries will begin.

on the trading style you choose, as there has been an impromptu decline in

yes that is depend on your strategy but in which you will be there to keep holding ,  and also if you did bough that time ? for sure you have earned 3-6% already now.

Though I'm optimistic that a reversal, upward trend awaits the bitcoin price
and I see it going to a 52-55k upward trend when this happens.
Let's see what it has to offer us in its next movement.
reversal is part of investing in this risky market but we must understand the opportunity offered here in bitcoin.

if you are here already for some time? then you must know what will happen in the future is depend on your capacity to wait .

Let's see what it has to offer us in its next movement.
If you believe there will be a reversal, you should buy before the price rises because that will be too late to take action to buy bitcoin. The price itself will rise sooner or later and if you do not ready with that, I think you can be late to take profit from bitcoin and only watch the price increase. This price will be a good price to buy, but that will depend on whether you want to buy right now or are still waiting for another lower price. I only hope you know what you will do.

Many believe that there's a reversal we see so many turn up of events like this keep happening from the past or even by now but what newbie mistake is they just dump all their shits and buy again once bitcoin price climb up again that's why sometimes they got hit by a dump for another round again. That's why if we need to trade again to recover back we should buy again when the price became quite stable or it showing some sign that it will pump again so that we can earn the reversal or the pump that possibly happen.
It is better to just hold their shitcoin and try to buy more than to dump all. Maybe the shitcoins is hard to recover their price but from that shitcoins list that they have, one or two can back to the current price and sometimes, the price will be higher than the last high price. Maybe they think that by doing that, they can repurchase the coin at a low price but they do not calculate how many amounts they can buy than to just hold their coins.

A more profitable and safer strategy would be to buy significant dips with amount of money you can afford to risk. You may then sell bit by bit as price goes up in the future if you need some money for other important needs in your life. This model is safer and will likely minimize volatility caused by people buying or selling too much at the same time.   Your buying and selling strategy should be unpredictable for certain reasons

When the price is dumping as it is now we will certainly use this opportunity as best as possible, because investing in the long term will definitely get maximum results but there are also some holdings that feel panic when the price is falling as it is today, then every investment we must be ready to lose our assets because not everything we predict will go our way, and rest assured for now is the right time to buy bitcoin and we also have to choose some potential altcoins if the capital we have is quite large.

The situation like that has already taken place, the market has reached over $50,000 and dropped back to $40,000. Funny enough there are people who has predicted that before the year runs out that we are going to see the price of Bitcoin reach over $300,000, now the year is slowly coming to an end and we haven’t seen anything that will motivate us to believe that we are going to reach a price that is as close to that.

But, I believe we’re still going to have another shot and that’s $50,000 or maybe $60,000, any one of them is possible. But I am not sure of anything more than that. Then as from next year we will see what the price in the market holds for us
Truth is bitcoin will not be 300k this year. I know that there is a chance for it happening, I know that even on the last day we can't say "it won't" because technically speaking it can always go up, it depends on what happens with whales and all. However reality is that 300k looks as improbable as it gets right now.

However, a big increase is not that far away from reality, that part could definitely happen if we are lucky enough. Remember bitcoin was just 30k during January and 64k in may, so in 3-4 months it became 2x, if we are 2x from the current price that is 80k and we do have nearly 4 months left, or 3 months more likely. So a good 70k-80k is not out of question at all. I am not saying that it will happen, I am just saying that even though 300k is looking difficult, 70k to 80k is something that we could definitely see happening.

You don't have any other choice when you piling up more Bitcoin other than keeping it or trade it.
That's all you can choose from and the latter is riskier so I'd pick the long-term investing.
If it's a good choice to buy, it is. We have already seen the dump after $60k and now we are like in the bottom, that's my opinion.
Bitcoin always comes back up after it is pushed down, it is just patience that you need and avoid being affected by sudden price movements.

Though I'm optimistic that a reversal, upward trend awaits the bitcoin price
and I see it going to a 52-55k upward trend when this happens.
Let's see what it has to offer us in its next movement.

Well, some investors are worrying because of the downtrend but for me its a normal situation already, thats the nature of crypto, its high volatile.

Thus instead of thinking of the possible reason why bitcoin and alts are declining, I'd rather focus on how to take advantage the current situation. Its a temporary scene and eventually the price will bounce back and it can happen in a short period.

Hence keep buying if you believe bitcoin has a great future to look forward.

If you wanna buy Bitcoins, just buy Bitcoins.Don't seek for advise.
September is historically a bad month for BTC,so there won't be any bull run in the next 8 days,I guess. Grin
Everybody is watching the situation with Evergrande in China and everyone is asking about will there be a wave of bankrupts, that will cause a new global financial and economic crisis.
I actually expect a stock market crash to pump the Bitcoin price, because BTC is an alternative to stocks.
On the other hand the Bitcoin price might follow the stock prices drop,at least in the short term, which is a great opportunity to buy cheap BTC.
So yeah, this looks like a definitely good time to buy Bitcoins.

your right tho about buying since its way cheaper now than its last value which was above 50k  but you could be wrong in your price predictions .
btc wont go 52 to 55k but when the reversal happen but it will be over than that , preferably 100k  .  you know the drill guys 👉  accumulate and hold

Good hope is still there, the point is don't think pessimistically in the recent downturn, to decide something without thinking twice, Bitcoin is still within the scope of the crowd of people, it still possible that it could still result in a higher price movement in another time, this is indeed a good time to buy if you have more money to gain another profit before we are in a high trend again.

If we were going to look back at the price of bitcoin for the past 2-3 months the market price didn't go beyond $30,000, yes due to volatility of the market we can still be able to see the sudden fluctuations of the market price but the price corrections seem to be in a strong resistance of $40k-$50k. Actually, any moment in bitcoin is a good choice to invest with a current price of $42k opening in a green candle still we don't sure what the next market movements in any moment but I am very optimistic that bitcoin would go up it's before year end.

What have you noticed lately about the price fluctuation of our dear bitcoin?

Same the same, it's very volatile, one day you will see the price going to $48k didn't hold. And then it goes down to $41k in the last 4 hours.

Something tells me it is a good time to buy, preferably *stock it* depending
on the trading style you choose, as there has been an impromptu decline in
the rate and monetary value.

As others have said, "BTFD", so if you have some extra cash to invest then this is the right time to pour some money and then HODL, nothing specially about that strategy, but mental toughness and be a strong hand and long for the long term.

Though I'm optimistic that a reversal, upward trend awaits the bitcoin price

Let's see what it has to offer us in its next movement.

Hopefully, we may see another all time high at the end of the year. Or better yet, a 6 digits figure.

What have I noticed? The same thing that I have been noticing for the past few years. The price is volatile. Once the price starts to go up, it becomes stable for a while and then we see the price fall back (correction). The cycle keeps on repeating. This is nothing new. You don't always have to buy when the price starts to fall. You can buy anytime. You can even buy when the price starts to go up. You don't have to wait for a "reversal". As long as you are planning to hold for a long term and do not sell when the price drops, then you will be fine.

Whenever there is a drop there are 2 kinds of people, one of them loses money today, the other makes profit later. The one that loses money today is the person who gets scared and ends up selling their coins and runs away from the market, the one that profits later is the one realizes prices will recover eventually anyway and will make a profit.

All in all I would assume that we should not be focusing on the price drop of today, but the price increase of tomorrow. Is there anyone who believes price will not go up in the long run? We all know that this drop will be recovered and price will be 50k+ once again, which is nearly a 25% increase at the peak, that is a good place to buy.
People should realize off these things but most of the time they do freak out whenever they do see these kind of declines on a short span of time without being aware nor realizing that this isnt the time for you to panic
but rather seeing this as an opportunity for you to buy cheaper coins and this is something that couldnt just really let this chance to slop out. These price movements is something an ordinary day on this
market and if you've been here already for a while then you wont really be affected by these movement much.Currently it is really making out some good point on where the support of 40k hasnt been broken.
Lets just hope for some recovery.

The whole market is upside down right now. Whether it is stock or crypto !!
So yeah, time to pull up sleeves and start buying.
The whole forum is flooded with the similar threads on every section.  Tongue
I think most of the peeps do not want to miss this train.

There is gut feeling, market is going to pump very hard this time breaking all the previous ATH. This is start of new cycle because it’s year end and the final quarter.

Check the historical data by December everything gets pumped.

I think it's good to buy the dip but you know how the market behaves sometimes, you will think you have bought the dip and when you later check, it will dip more due to pressure from sellers.
If you are familiar with Eliot wave analytical trading strategy, you will notice that this is market Eliot wave 3 which usually comes the last, that's why I think many are selling their bags and also die to China megabank bankruptcy.
It's good to buy but don't forget to apply caution not to get trap.

You know what I have noticed? The fact that bitcoin is volatile and has price fluctuations— the same way it has been since it’s inception. The recent price drops aren’t any different.

And bitcoin will always be a good buy; regardless if a price reversal is right around the corner or not.

I also think that it is a good time to buy. Bitcoin price is still fluctuating a lot. It has went down to $43k again. Moreover in the last 24 hours, the price went down to even $40k. This could be a sign for even going down below $40k soon. So, I'm really indecisive about waiting or buying now. But I guess that I will buy some these days. And if the price goes down below $40k, I will be buying more to be able to make a greater profit in the long run.

The price of bitcoin rose on El Salvador's bitcoin adoption.

....

Then the US stock market crashed, which the media attributes to a real estate sell off in china:

....

Bitcoin's latest decline seems to mirrors the stock market crash:

(Note how the shape of the decline of the stock market and bitcoin appear similar)

News of south korean tax hikes on crypto along with the introduction of strict USA style reporting requirements which forced the closure of some exchanges could also factor in.

Yes, it's a good time to buy.

And what you've said is likely to happen and you only have to wait after buying and it will eventually recover. If you still haven't bought it, think of it and if the price is already good for you to buy.

The others are panic selling, then you have to be calm and do the buying.
price will pump and sometimes dump its nature of the market so when you see continuously pump then a correction must need so if don't dump people how can buy this for that reason I say sometimes dump must need for rules of trade or business.

I am always positive about Bitcoin and I know that there’s always going to be a reversal whenever it goes down. Although for now I don’t know if it is going to get past the $60,000 price range again, it might just continue to circle around this price I’m going from $40,000 to around $50,000 and also going back down again. So whenever it is at $40,000 that might be a good time to buy it, before it goes up to the next price. We don’t know how long it’s going to take before the next bull run, maybe four years or some people will always see, which is during the next halving.

Totally agree, right now buying bitcoin and other altcoins that are on the red is the golden opportunity that many people are looking for, and I don't think that it's not in your best interest if you don't buy right now because this won't come often and you don't want to miss out on profits.

With the current price of bitcoin right now, it's going down and many are scared but it's also an opportunity to other people to accumulate and has great beliefs and adoption that bitcoin has more room to grow even with the market conditions right now. Always believe that price movement is a golden opportunity to own bitcoin and hold it for a long term will make everyone a good profit from it, never doubt bitcoin. Some panic selling, yet also many people buying the dip.

Honestly, this is the best time to trade and invest with bitcoin, If I'm to advise you on this, I'll give you a positive response to this. The decrement simply means an increase will follow suit, having double thoughts about it ? You can equally be a bit patient for sometime,if you're not optimistic so it decreases to an extent so you can buy more at a more lesser rate. Do well to invest, trade in what you can, another thing is that the price of cryptocurrency especially bitcoin is not predictable, because you are on rush to purchase it, and it's can as well leads to negative side. The summary of bitcoin investment is patient.

Something tells me it is a good time to buy
If something actually tells you that, then go ahead and buy and hodl it, imo, it's always a good time to buy Bitcoin, bear or bull run, it really doesn't matter for me, what's most important is you're not buying more than you can afford to lose, or you're not taking loans, borrowing money or doing other things you really shouldn't be doing just to invest in the coin.

Having said that, most of us invest/trade Bitcoin, so you'd always get a positive answer when you ask or talk about Bitcoin here, so what's best for one to do is to do their own research and come up with what's best for them.

Should this post not be in the speculation or Bitcoin discussion board?

What have you noticed lately about the price fluctuation of our dear bitcoin?

I see the following:

- the price rose a lot until the resistance that is at $52500 and as it didn't manage to break, it fell a lot to another strong support which in this case would be the support that is at $42000

- if the price does not break the support which is at $42000 then it will try to break the resistance which is at $52500

this is a cycle, if price breaks $52500 it will keep rising until it has strong resistance, if price breaks $42000 it will fall until it has strong support

When you do talks about stocking it or simply hodl then price wouldnt really bother you up since you do go after with long term but i cant really blame off that people would really be seeking off with the lowest price as possible.

Asking out on what would be the bottom or saying this is the good time to buy? No one knows and its your call if you do tend to go buy with this current price which it had really some non so big decline or simply
just a correction which is a normal event or scenario with this market.

Its always been volatile and to think that this had been the main recipe on why most people do dive in into this market.
