Looking forward to seeing what you guys have produced!
So yea one of the things we're working on is an notification system. Obviously it won't work with SMF but I read all the threads in Meta regardless. So if you really want my opinion on something or just want me to chip into the thread, call me out by name and I'll probably see it within a day and respond.
So the beta will not be replacing the forum. It's just a public beta so people can see that we are actually working on code that demonstrably works. It's also going to be used for people to point out problems, bug hunt, etc. I'm not too sure what the lead time will be before official release and replacement of this forum since we still have a lot of features to get through.

What do you mean by the last part btw ? I simply write "taesup" on my threads ? You implented something like Alerts or notifications once someone use your name in his posts ?

Hey, sorry if the communication is a bit late or in some cases non-existent. We're trying to keep up with it but often times we're just too busy with our faces glued to the code. As far as the suggestions are concerned. We are keeping track of them and as others have said, theymos has final say. But in the mean time we track what we can and offer our suggestions or feed back as well.
As the forum software starts to firm up more in terms of features, we'll probably be more vocal but as of right now, we're trying to go through all the things mentioned in the stickied thread of this board. Those have top priority.
As for the beta launch, it's coming! The date was self imposed and code wise we're there already. We are just working out the kinks in getting it up on a public server. So sit tight. It should be here soon.

Well I never seen them replying to be honest , only on the first pages of this section of the forums . I'am pretty sure that he meant the end of the 2014 (December) , correct ? but We didn't see any demonstrations
Yes, that's what he meant, that's why I said it wasn't accurate. But, I included that link anyway because the link is useful for seeing what progress is being made. wangbus does reply to suggestions every now and then, ultimately it's down to theymos what he adds and what he doesn't. wangbus did give us a time for public beta, although seems that it wasn't accurate, although you can follow their progress:

I maybe posted couple of suggestions before but not sure if they are taken seriously by the developper(s) of the new forum software , all I see is other members opinions here and there and nothing like "Approved" or "Denied" suggestion .
Any of the developpers are members on Bitcointalk ? It would be nice if they can post on the suggestion so we know what's going on .
btw , the project should launch in time as said before ? February ?
