you can sell bitcoins and convert them directly to your bank account via ACH transfer. @ campbx.com(atlanta, ga) or coinbase.com(san francisco, ca)

Also for what its worth, Bitcoinstore.com is a licensed and legal business operating out of Santa Clara, California that sells everything from servers to cellphones to sporting goods. an overview of their listings is below.

Also, Bitpay is another us business that allows you to accept bitcoin(and its instant to, no holds like paypal) and withdraw directly to a bank account. namecheap and bitcoinstore both use bitpay.
