Sorry for the wrong topic, I'm new here. Thank you for your answer. I was wondering that is it normal or not to see a tempopary status of "x" instead of "0" sometimes. As I understand, if I always keep the temp under the 80 C, I don't need to be afraid.

I gave you a merit for a polite follow up. Thank you for that.

I would love to know what freq works well for you

424 or whatever else it may turn out to be.

I try to stay 74 or lower not 79 or lower but if you stay at 79 you are more likely to do an x or 2 x or even 3 or more

Each machine varies at what it prefers.

Hey there. I got a used L3+ recently. I adjusted the frequency to 500(max) and when it was working, one of the chips was shown as "x". I immediately changed the frequency to the default value (384) and it returned to "0". Temperature was 60-70 C when it was shown as "x". Now, I have some questions.

Why it showed me the x of status? Is it normal that showing "x" sometimes.

Moreover, if I adjust the frequency to 450-500, is there any big possibilities that chips would be dead?

Which frequency do you recommend "default" or "(max)% of default"? (Like max 30% of default.)

Yeah nice try. Why the hell you raising the frequenz to 500 if you don´t understand what you do? X means chip is not working, because to high clock. Make this more often and you kill you asic yes.

Start with around 400 and try to increase after a while is it stable. Max i prefer is 450.
