well you started with a chefs kiss
the link says about:
counter-intuitive relationships
pervasive phenomenon

it has pictures of a female playing with a guys balls, and tugging and measuring on a guys dangly thing

im just using the subject media handed to me

you also may not have grasped the purpose of the analogy (the underlying point) and instead you just got emotional about the graphic detail of the analogy

a better example of efficiency is
ejaculating inside your wife quicker may be more productive.. more kids.. but your wife will be left unsatisfied by lack of orgasms and left feeling like she is just a production line of pushing melon size babies out her body too often and left having to cleaning up after a army of brats for 18 years

some times it pays to slow things down be romantic, wear protection and seduce your wife instead of using her just as a baby maker
she then might be more receptive and happy to then have a kid in your own way own choice happy life.. happy wife

That's what you wanted to share after internalizing Jascha's thoughts on overfitting? Some gibberish about nutting your wife?

Way to get an elevated discussion going, franky! Cheesy

using standardised testing example is not about efficiency. its about bad reporting/recording

stopping a production line to ask them how many products they made each 10 minutes is not efficient. is a disruption

standardised testing is a disruption to education

I recently bumped into this: Too much efficiency makes everything worse, by Jascha Sohl-Dickstein.

I highly recommend reading it (should take less than 10 mins, maybe 15 if you're a slow reader, like me). The whole thing is *chef's kiss* excellent and section 4 has some very thought-provoking ideas in it!
