It was the Bitcointalk forum that inspired us to create Bitcointalksearch.org - Bitcointalk is an excellent site that should be the default page for anybody dealing in cryptocurrency, since it is a virtual gold-mine of data. However, our experience and user feedback led us create our site; Bitcointalk's search is slow, and difficult to get the results you need, because you need to log in first to find anything useful - furthermore, there are rate limiters for their search functionality.
The aim of our project is to create a faster website that yields more results and faster without having to create an account and eliminate the need to log in - your personal data, therefore, will never be in jeopardy since we are not asking for any of your data and you don't need to provide them to use our site with all of its capabilities.
We created this website with the sole purpose of users being able to search quickly and efficiently in the field of cryptocurrency so they will have access to the latest and most accurate information and thereby assisting the crypto-community at large.

Can I apply here as a Vietnamese translator, from English to Vietnamese. I have not yet had any translation for my CV but I earned all of my merits. One good translator has to start with zero in portfolio so I am glad to start my job since today Hey there, yes you can - you are a well respected member of our community and if you say you are capable of providing top notch quality translations, I will gladly add you to the list. Please just make sure to hit me up as soon as you have completed your first jobs, so we can add your "portfolio". Edit: I have added you, welcome and good luck! Edit 2: I don't like my table's design - if anyone can "pimp it up" easily, I would highly appreciate that. Rocket science for me... with lots of research needed!

Hey everybody, I am in need of a Japanese native speaker to do a quick proof-read - depending on the results, the task may get bigger but what I really need for now is someone to check some content and tell me if it is good quality human translation or bulls***... Does anyone have a contact or can help? Appreciated! Still looking for this!

I'd like to propose myself as a Spanish translator on the list; I have been doing it for the last 4 years, and even if I haven't been around bitcointalk for quite some time, I've been doing translations off-site to an NGO. The list has been updated and inactive translators have been removed. If you know trusted translators who are not listed yet, feel free to let them know.
Note: I am currently looking for a new Italian "go to translator" to join my team - hit me up if you are available and would like to receive jobs whenever available. I'm still surprised that there is no Indonesian translator here. efialtis, if you think I'm good enough, please count me in. Here's my portfolio. Thanks a bunch. Hey, I have added you just now - welcome and lots of (good) business!

Just a quick update: I have given several translation jobs (that paid well in BTC) to different translators from that list and everything went fine. Would appreciate if you guys also share in case you come across interesting "gigs".
Hey guys,
I am always trying to give "jobs" to as many of you as possible but when a translation is being ordered by external clients, they have the last word of course. Please dont be disappointed when you werent "selected" in such cases. That being said, I still think this is a nice thread/idea and I am regularly sending potential clients and also recommend personally. In the near future, I might have 1-2 more jobs for website translations (not crypto-related) English to Korean / English to Polish. Feel free to pm me if you are interested so we can discuss. Edit: Since this thread´s goal is to provide a list of trusted/recommended and also active/responsive translators, I have removed translators who unfortunately haven´t met that requirement. Thanks for creating this topic. Since I haven't seen any Filipino translator on the list. I'd like to throw my hat in the ring though. I don't have yet my portfolio (will do in the near future), but I had worked and translated English to Filipino in the past. Hey asu, I have just added you to the list. Let me know when you have your portfolio and I will add that, too.
Thanks for creating this topic.

I don't have yet my portfolio (will do in the near future), but I had worked and translated English to Filipino in the past. Hello, you may consider adding me as English<->Polish translator. You can find my name on trustee list by julerz12 and BountyPortals. My topic on BTT: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.46867617 Recent works include BeatzCoin.io, EpicCash (yeah, that one where we eventually didn't get paid) and Cardano (Translator-Ambassador) Thanks for applying and sorry for the delay, been a few rough days recently. I have just added you to the list!

I would be happy to be added to the list as a Dutch translator. Here is my portfolio! Hey, looks like you have lots of translations in the past - the thing is it looks like you havent really been active lately and one of the "conditions" is supposed to be an active user. Sorry I noticed my portfolio wasn't really up to date. I made a few translations in 2019 as well actually: Fidelity Suite Kanga Exchange Honeypod Volentix Epiccash I have been out for a bit, mostly because a lot of projects that weren't paying (I think some already mentioned Epiccash on this thread as well) and I took the decision not to work for projects anymore that only pay in tokens. But if there are projects willing to pay in either BTC or ETH I would be interested to offer my translation services. As a native Dutch speaker and fellow translator (though I moved away from crypto translations), I can say that the quality of translation is good (on average above other ENG->Dutch translations I've looked upon recently in the Dutch Sub fora.) I do back him up in being listed in the first post
I have just added @asche to the list - a great translator who has already taken on a few "jobs" in the near past.
I would like to see my name on your list if possible. Here is a link to my portfolio: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XyykIBa4Xw8Ns9CwvrXDwcEJ-fL6Rmib/view I have just added you - welcome and good luck! Side note: I might remove some translators from that list in the near future - the reason is simple: As stated right from the beginning, this list should consist of active translators.

As a late addition, I finally made a doc with my portfolio. It's not big, I know. And I am also available to make a few (Romanian) translations for free, to increase the portfolio a little with something newer than 2017. Hey, I have just added you to the list. Welcome and good luck.

Welcome and good luck. Many thanks. My story exactly. I have done a lot of translations in the past while you could still get something from all those ICO projects. Lately there just isn't translation job opportunities that will get you money you can actually spend. Now that you mentioned crypoji, I remembered they need to pay me for my work as well. I totally forgot about that but I believe they promised to pay in December. Now I'll try to contact them and see if I got scammed as well. Totally expected it but decided to do translation since I was home on some sick days and had time. They promised to pay in ETH so probably different project then yours. I was also promised payment in ETH so it's the same project I guess - Epic Cash. They promised me $250 and I was contacted by ChiNgadOr who I first thought was in the project team but he wasn't. It ultimately turned scam. @efialtis: I was recently contacted by Murat for 24kcasino project and I translated the ANN thread. Will keep posting about new projects I get which pay in BTC. Very cool - I mean regarding the 24kcasino project - one of the project where I recommended using one of the translators in this very thread. Murat is cool and paid quickly. Thanks for the info deisik - to be honest I am only doing business through bitcointalk but if things stay as slow as they are, we might really need to spread our wings We should always be exploring new avenues for obtaining jobs As it seems to be part of the job. Presently I'm translating for a crypto-related blog on a more or less regular basis, and I'm asked to check if the translations are unique. I see a couple of other local news outlets trying to translate same articles, and their quality is subpar (most likely, the translations are semi-automatic). I tried to contact them directly and offer my services but so far didn't get a word from either My story exactly. Any specific reason you have not added me to the list?
You guys need to get in touch with established and already running projects instead of watching out for those shitcoin projects I for one keep a list of representatives here whom I reached out to previously. In this way I managed to get a few jobs, mostly in the gambling field. It would be interesting and beneficial for us to compile a list of important online job exchanges related to translating and copywriting beyond the forum. I encountered a few in the past but they seem to be dormant. I also procured some jobs on bits.media forum It is a very active forum, and there are perhaps others out there worth looking into Thanks for the info deisik - to be honest I am only doing business through bitcointalk but if things stay as slow as they are, we might really need to spread our wings. Cool - will do, do you have some kind of portfolio thread/overview my friend? I have offered all of my services here in one topic. I have linked my translation portfolio at the bottom of the topic.https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/available-signature-bounty-campaign-manager-lm-management-5180747 If you need the translation link directly- https://drive.google.com/file/d/1a3_Gaiv3sogQxT4iV7cjq6tlvYg9JGPp/view Thank you. A personal friend of mine is looking for a french translation of his website, which is not crypto related. There is one condition though (besides quality translation of course) - he needs an invoice as he is running an official business in the real world. That is another problem when your main language is Croatian, too small market for most projects. I am not sure if people outside of this region are aware that Serbia, Bosnia, Hercegovina & Monte Negro use basically the same language. Even majority of people from Slovenia & Macedonia understand Croatian very well. If your friend ever gets the need for Croatian translation I actually have a company registered for foreign trade so some kind of invoice would not be a problem. Thanks for making this tread, could be useful. I have just added you to the list. A personal friend of mine is looking for a french translation of his website, which is not crypto related. Sad to hear guys... there still are reputable projects that pay in BTC and I have had the pleasure to work for some - also suggested translators for other languages, who have been paid just fine. So let´s just keep our eyes open and work together. The number is rather small and not all of us are so lucky to live in "rich countries" where people have higher chance to invest and all projects want to be translated into their language That's why we, the normal mortals, may start accepting tokens [which is a mistake!] and later simply stop searching... There is not much options for translators as the people who normally hire translator in crypto are the marketing personal of a blockchain project which they only pay with their tokens. I tried to demand BTC for a fee but they rather cancel the job to me to find someone else to translate whitepaper, ANN thread and bounty thread for them. its worse when translators has to wait years to get paid. Regarding such "bounty altcoin projects" --> I am not taking such jobs at all. As stated in my thread, I am only accepting projects that pay in BTC & ETH and I dont care about promises such as "you will be paid in our coin that will be worth $XXXXXXXXXXX in future"... and you shouldnt either! How have you guys been doing lately when it comes to translations? Kinda slow these days isnt it? Also, our list still needs a few translators for other languages, so feel free to pm good and trusted translators if you know any and refer them to our thread. Some company recently needed translators for several languages and I gladly gave them our thread´s link. The goal is good business for everybody, companies and us translators. No. Projects are mostly offering altcoins which are not traded on exchange websites while the trusted ones are not offering any decent pay like earlier. BTC/ETH paying projects are mostly NIL. Thanks for adding my name @efialtis as a Hindi translator. I've been less active since 2018 as many projects earlier have turned bad so it's been less profitable for me. Due to the same reason some of the trusted translators I knew also went inactive. Well - that is one of the reasons why I created this thread - I have also been screwed when I did my first bountry translation and have not translated for such projects afterwards. Good news is: There are many other services who are also interested in having their services translated and who pay in BTC for work done. Edit: Guys, I think we are really missing a trusted Spanish translator in our list - Donde estas?! what about this guy 👉 pedrillo0 ? i can see some ann translations of him - but i don't know this dude ... Thanks for the nice feedback so far - glad you guys like the idea.
As mentioned before - any trusted translator can "apply", happy to add more languages. It is just that they need to be active of course, which also means they post in this very thread.
Great idea, @efialtis, I think this thread is very needed wrre we can find best translators for different languages in single places. Same like we already have lists for campaign managers, designers or escrows.
In past I seen lot of Russian and Filipino translators, but now I can't recall their names. But I think some of them wil come here to represent themselves.
Hello,
Please can check my old works: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1iJG59kBjTBooc_YnEl8NosDEo7hq9s5ylZcG4etwAuU/edit#gid=0 I am an Arabic translator.
Great list. I believe I've worked with several people on your list in the past and yes, they do make high-quality translations.
Here's another list of translators I've worked before.
As a campaign manager, I keep a list of these translators here, just in case I'll be needing their services To avoid confusions I would appreciate an alphabetic order of the different languages. Even if you'll get "only" one or two users per language that would get a big list. Very good idea - I will edit this tomorrow accordingly! And also send aundroid a message. Also, I wonder why there's no filipino translator in the list, I'm sure there are lots of them here just not sure if they are still active though. I dont know what you mean by I should start this one. Other than that - there is no filipino translator because I dont happen to know anyone and people can always "apply" - one of the conditions as stated in the op is that this list should consist of active translators... I am not exactly sure why people start to "fight" - sort of... This is meant to be a list of translators who can be trusted and when having translated many times for several brands in this forum, I take it the quality will be good. Other than that, as mentioned earlier, reviews will be very welcome!
@unsoindovo I think you are misinterpreting deisiks post(s)? Why don't we ask the local mod/community member(s) to give a review before we add them to the 'trusted/recommended' translator? Unlike a bounty manager, you have to understand the language to judge the translation quality, so if it were me I'd be very careful I actually support this view (in general) However, if someone speaks (writes) fluent English (which can be easily seen from their posting history here) and to whom the English language is not their mother tongue, you could rightfully and reasonably expect that their native language skills would be at least as good. Typically, they are much better (than what you would expect from an average native speaker) It's fine if somebody posted and requested to be added on the list but they should have at least one native speaker vouching for them You'd be surprised how many so-called native speakers ain't quite good at their own language (despite what they might think or claim to the contrary) But who should be a trusted validator? Being a native speaker and having an English-language proficiency (English as the second language) are pretty good "validators" or indicators on their own if you ask me. This seems to be the case where words speak for themselves. But we can always weigh in and give our unbiased opinion (peer review) You can think of it as a sort of standing committee or panel of trusted and recognized translators I'm not agree with you. And then, why are you dressing like a judge?? I think it is not correct. I think it's not the right place. Why don't we ask the local mod/community member(s) to give a review before we add them to the 'trusted/recommended' translator? I like your idea mate and I agree we should be selective before adding "new" guys - the ones I have added until now should be trusted and have already provided translations here in this forum many times. Just not 100% sure how we would go on when some new translator applies - concrete ideas? Here we have some misunderstanding. You are asking to review the translators who are applying. Although indeed Tszunami98 has done many Romanian translations lately, I've done Romanian translations too in the past and my services are still available (just I didn't spend so much time hunting for them lately).
So I feel that my name could also be on your list. PS. Great initiative!

List has been updated:
Added aundroid for German & unsoindovo for Italian
Hi efialtis!
Nice intiative! if you want, add me in the list. Below, my portfolio site. http://italianbitcoin3r.altervista.org/index.html Scroll down to see all my translation works. cheers!
Not sure if I recommend myself on this list. I have been living in Vietnam, currently I have been a translator of this language for over 2 years. I do not have an official ANN, but I have a list of my previous translations, you can see here.
Honestly, not too many people or projects need this language. Although the country is gaining access to cryptocurrencies quickly, but the way people who participate in these forums are getting them removed. Therefore, I have not had many opportunities to work recently. But I'm sure I have enough experience to work for anyone who needs it. Nice idea! As far as I know aundroid is also doing good German translations sometimes but I don't know if he want to be on your list and he doesn't have an ANN. Maybe sent him a PM since he's also doing good ones (especially for technical details). Note 2: The order is completely random and does not mean that one translator is better than the other. If you have more ideas on how to improve this overview, just shoot. To avoid confusions I would appreciate an alphabetic order of the different languages. Even if you'll get "only" one or two users per language that would get a big list. Very good idea - I will edit this tomorrow accordingly! And also send aundroid a message.

I'm okay with this list as long as I'm on it
As some of you may know, I offer translation services and I was asked several times if I can recommend reliable and good translators for other languages. Finding translators here is harder than one might think. In addition, fact is that not only reputable translators are floating around, which is why I think an overview with trustworthy translators who are active will be helpful. At the end of the day, bct members and companies should have the opportunity to find high-quality translators without much effort --> without having to search the whole forum but all in one place.
Note: The list will initially be rather small, so if anyone wants to be added or wants to add some translator to this list, just post your/their ANN thread. Where are you Spanish/Italian/translators? Feedback, reviews, your experiences with translators are of course very welcome in this thread. Note 2: The order is completely random and does not mean that one translator is better than the other. If you have more ideas on how to improve this overview, just shoot.
