So what's happening here? Is he carrying owls to Japan?

What's with the Great Chain?

Does the person making these things realize that 1,000 BTC can be interpreted radically different depending on which country you're in?

its 1000 mBTC Wink

Oh good, that's even worse.

Back onto the main problem though with using a decimal seperator in international currency.

Depending on the country a point and a comma can mean completely different things.

Like this: 1,000

That's One Thousand in the US

But in the EU it's One

And this: 1.000

Is One in the US

But One Thousand in the EU.

Yes that is unfortunate
This confuses me a lot in these forums and a few services. I'm from the EU and when I see 1,000 i'm almost never sure if it's either 1 or 1000  Sad

heh, well in this case its 1000 mBTC. I guess ill take this into consideration for any future coins I do...

Do you plan on offering blanks with no BTC value for sale?

We have talked about it. Those coins could be decently discounted since there would be much less work involved, and the customer wouldn't have to place his trust in anyone but himself.

There a few reasons we are hesitant:

1. Those coins are tied to us, and anything people do with them (right or wrong) reflects on the company.

2. Its been suggested we crank out a whole new design for that feature to prevent confusion and protect 2nd hand buyers.

Its something I wanted to do, but as a company we don't want to change our business model so substantially right out the gate. This is something we want to do right, from the ground up.
