First, you need to create your own coin and of course with the project on it because a coin without purpose won't survive.
To be listed on coinmarketcap, i think they were requiring some volume on exchanges, but i think they don't requiring volume anymore now.
The most important is your coin should have value, the value will come from how good is the project on your coin.

Yea but how IM gonna survive? Low payment jobs is not an opinion.

Hey,

I have plan to establish my own crypto, how much it costs, and capitalize on it on markets? (Coinmarketcap)

Better make an offer in the service section or on Fiverr, the competition is very stiff now, it's not only you have a coin but also need a platform and not only a platform but actual platform that people can use, it's easy to promote now because bounty hunters are going to accept your token for payment.

Yea, that 150 000 euros/24h producing bitcoin factory is on my mind I can buy my townhouse on that prize. My worry about money is then over. The only problem is 4,5 Million electricity on a monthly bill which is more than the factory buying prize. Somewhere I must get cheap electricity. A small nuclear power plant is my only opinion, but cost honey to me. Does anyone have an idea of what is the best solution?

As far as I know, to get listed on coinmarketcap, your coin must have to be traded on more than one exchange, and they must have a trading volume of $50k. Coingecko has a bit lower requirement I think.
Listing is free on both CMC and CG.
The basic requirements were also posted by findingnemo.

And the basic criteria needed
Quote
The criteria for a cryptocurrency to be listed is the following:

- Must be a cryptocurrency or a crypto token.
- Must be on a public exchange with an API that reports the last traded price and the last 24 hour trading volume.
- Must have a non-zero trading volume on at least one supported exchange so a price can be determined.
- For market cap ranking, an accurate circulating supply figure is required.

They have this detailed criteria for everyone to see.(https://support.coinmarketcap.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043659351-Listings-Criteria)
It also includes the delisting policies. They have reminders that one who's in the process of listing their project there. Just read and make sure that you have passed the reqs set by them.

The general rule states, whenever your currency is distinct and people need to follow its price, it will not be listed with money, and vice versa, which will cost you a lot of money.
Therefore, either invest your money in the difficult path (continuous development) or pay high fees for listing.
Why do you want to include it in CMC? A lot of people prefer to speculate with Binance.

I have a plan to hashing it, for example, building hashing machines in Japan. Its BTC ending in the near future. I don't have so much money. so I can establish own coin capitalize and mining Sad

Yep,,, and apparently Coingecko is lower but the requirements are much stricter, as in they also try to analyze the trading volume. Selling and buying with bots and to yourself in 24 hour periods do not work on Coingecko,,, and apparently CMC itself after the binance buyover will also be improving it.

Use Binance itself to get more CMC attention, by the way.

Depends i suppose if you already have some experience creating/forking the coin i suppose it's basically not really costing an big amount, I'm not an expert though but basically what kind crypto you want to create? Also you need to reserach first with looking your competitor with purpose and adding extra feature that your competitor didn't have, Another advice too, maybe you can try to join some New project then learning from there, If you think you ready then maybe you can make your own cryptocurrency with good potential.

I'm not an expert and basically that just my "Wild" Opinion and maybe plan hahahaha, If you confused where to start try to Join bounty on the Gitcoin if you have dev basic, Well good luck!

Thx, yeah only electricity is Finland near 4,5-5 Million Euros/month that large scale mining. Then I am big trouble if BTC ends on earth. That's why own bitcoin 1 USD/coin on markets.

Are you already ready with your product and its whitepaper? You need to also create a website and prepare other relevant information required before CMC.

If you have already done that then you need to visit this url to complete the process: - https://coinmarketcap.com/methodology/

Something I must do for my money situation. This cannot be continue. I don't have criminal purposes "Criminal act", but i must rise my income level! Bitcoin is one good opinion Smiley

I think listing on CMC is not the first thing you shall consider

As previous posters mentioned, you have to fill an application form. I think one of the criteria is that it should be listed somewhere.

Maybe you can take into consideration on having your coin listed through an IEO on a reputable exchange like Binance. Since Coinmarketcap is owned by Binance I think there is a guarantee that your cryptocurrency will be listed in CMC since their data on their exchange is also transferred from Binance to CMC. I'm not familiar with exchanges that give IEOs but just check them all out and if they are connected to CMC as well.

If you think you're just going to launch a cryptocurrency and get it featured on CoinMarketCap, then you've got another thing coming.

Cryptocurrencies don't get listed unless they achieve a significant amount of trading volume and are proven to be not just another shitcoin.

If you want detailed information about what it takes, reach out to CMC directly, there's no point asking a bunch of randoms on BTT who have never launched a coin.

But from your post, seems like you just want a cash grab. Listing on CMC won't help you there.

AFAIK, Crypto, by definition, has to be decentralized. What do you mean by 'own crypto'? It is not a product to own. Right?

Own Bitcoin is on my mind to establish on markets

Start planning now your crypto project and ask the investors to fund your project to start working. But if you really have the money to implement the project without the crowd's fund needed then it can be done easier butnof course with expenses. In my opinion, it is better to have the crowd funding foe it will be a way to discover your project and if the crowd wanted your project to be successful then can easily fund the project after it gets listed to an exchange. However, getting the trust of the crowd maybe quite difficult and I think is also difficult now to pursue success in implementing a certain project.

I am not sure how much they will charge to list a token but it is going to be in double-figure BTC (correct me if I am wrong).

Tried to research up about the cost and i havent seen any numbers on how much they do ask out.Its just odd or impossible for them not to do so knowing that they are one of the largest and
known site when it comes to market prices and other info and now that they had been bought by Binance then there might be some changes.
AFAIK, there is no official statement from the company related to listing fee charges but years back when I follow some crypto projects the admins were crying about the huge expenses to get their crypto assets into biggest exchanges and tracking site like coinmarketcap but still I don't know it is true or not.

As far as I can tell, not all crypto needs to pay listing on aggregators like CMC. Like pooya mentioned above.

Just take a look at all those defi shitcoin, those aggregators are trying to be the first one to list a new one instead. Don't join the hype though, pretty sure it's gonna die soon.

Hey,

The focus should be on your coin feature and what it wants to achieve and offer to the community, and on cost, it depends if you are a developer yourself and you are not going to hire coders to code your coin so much is at stake on your coin feature and platform, this is the biggest stumbling block why so many projects cannot and did not make it in the market.

Coinmarketcap and Coingecko will list your coin at a much lower cost if it has potential in the market and performing well in exchanges where it is listed if you have all I've mentioned it will not harden to gain supporters because people are always ready to support projects with good potential I have seen this on IDENA.

what is the only successful cryptocurrency? bitcoin.
did bitcoin pay coinmarketcap to list it? no. instead shitty sites like CMC are created because bitcoin existed.
that should be your goal.

how much it costs,
creating a new cryptocurrency should not have any monetary costs for you. if you are spending money on things such as bribing some shitty site to list your coin, then you are doing something wrong.
the only cost should be your time as a developer that is spent on 3 phases:
1) research to figure out what technologies exist (eg. bitcoin), what can you do to improve and which unused technologies can you incorporate and how that can be an improvement not just repetition.
2) implementing the innovative ideas you acquire in step 1
3) testing, consulting experts, releasing the code (pre release) and launching the coin eventually.

again as your goal, Satoshi (creator of the only successful cryptocurrency) spent 3 years working on bitcoin before he released it.

No one know the actual amount capital market charge for listing but if the OP ask some already listed project owner or user ChiNgad0r who's Capital market Moderator on telegram maybe he could tell him the charge for listing and also assistance him by giving the best directions to get listed on capital because they seems to have some listing rules and regulations.
