Timing of these cards are not good. Not because of Crypto price lvel but because of very high difficulty levels of each major mining coin. Like ETH and Zcash.

I'm fairly certain that these cards already have the memory timings in place which the ETHPill makes use of, hence it wouldn't be that great of an improvement.  If anything I think the 1080 TI works the same as this card now with the Pill.

As far as i know these P-version cards are unique because they removed all unnecessary hardware components and software that bog down mining power. The ETHlargment pill is most likely an addition to GDDR5x power which requires software developers. The hardware manufacturers probably don't have access to higher level software development which would only be done by NVIDIA.

Correct

Mining cards are JUNK. Nvidia failed big time with them. Miners are not stupid Wink

Again it depends how much they will cost.

The 1080ti is very expensive and if this is priced at half the MSRP of a 1080ti then it's a good deal.

However most of these mining GPUs were all mostly overpriced.

Only reason people still buy them is because the gamer cards are sold out everywhere.

Agreed. 1080Ti are crazy expensive. These P102-100 cards are cheaper than that. For a professional miner, it's all about months to ROI, so if P102 is 30% cheaper, it is a better option.

Also, why are people talking about 1080Ti getting 52MH/s as if it's old news? WTF? ETHlargement came out like last week.

I don't see any reason in buying this card. You can get VEGA 64 cards on amazon.com with about $800 now. You will get 2,000 h/s with it in CryptoNight with it.

You should never recommend Vega cards to anyone. They are complete piles of crap, you are stuck using windows and mining nothing but XMR with them. Everyone should stay as far away from them as possible.

I'd rather buy a 1080ti. That ETHlargementpill gives more hash plus you can use it or sell it to gamers

In theory, the ETHlargmenent pill should also work on this because it is based on the 1080ti and is also using GDDR5x memory. Once more people get their hands on this we will probably get confirmation of it's actual speed when mining ETH.

My guess is that it could probably do high 50s or 60+ MH on Ethash.

1. I have yet to test CryptoNight on the card, but I am expecting 900 - 980H/s (based on what other miners using P102 are saying)
2. 3200 CUDA cores. Base clock is 1582MHz.
3. I am very close to the Nvidia manufacturer network. They supplied these cards directly to me. You can get them from www.bitnand.com.

I see other people are reporting the same 53-54 MH/s in ethash using 1080 ti cards.

Unless it is getting better hash rates or is less expensive then the other cards, I don't see a reason why anyone would buy it.

We are getting around 51MH/s on ETH with Claymore V11.

Test set-up is as follows:
Ubuntu 16.04
Nvidia Driver 390.48
Biostar TB250-BTC PRO

Core -200, Mem +1450
Power cap to 185W
Operating temperature is in the 56 - 60'C range in a centralized cooling facility

Is this a joke? I get 53mh on ETH on my normal 1080ti at 160w. That mining card is SHIT.

is this thing a repackaged 1070ti? stats are similar. No advancement and for $700 its considerably worse.

How are you cooling these cards? I don't seem to see a cooling fan on the heatsink.  Huh
They are made for closed case rig with one fan as intake behind the card and the other as outake placed in front of the card.

I have some questions about it:

1. What kind of speeds do you get in CryptoNight with it? Does it exceed the 2 KH/s speeds the Vegas are getting right now?
2. How about the number of cores & speed per core?
3. Where did you find it to buy it? What kind of price did you get for it?
