1.  none really, it's only useful if you want to set up a dedicated connection between nodes on static IPs.
2.  No, each node knows what each other node is doing.
3.  No, you'll get paid out by another node somewhere - I shut my node down a few days ago, and I got a payment since.

 Hello All,

Well, I have been experimenting with P2Pool, and I still have a lot of doubts.

Testing my theories on my own have been difficult, since I only have a humble USB Erupter (selled by CanaryInTheMine), so, if any could help me with a couple of doubts, it would be wonderful.

1.-  First, what effect has the -n parameter when running P2Pool ? I see that you connect to other P2Pool node, but, how can this affect my node and miners connected ?

2.- Then, would changing between nodes before finding my first share hurt my income ?

3.- And, following the last question, If I shutdown a node where I have been mining almost a week before finding a true share, would I waste my work ?

Finally, I would be glad if people from west USA help me to test my public P2Pool node (0% fee), at least for 24 hours, the ip is

138.91.145.103:9332

 Thanks in advance   Grin .
