Are you getting Hardware Errors? I would try lowering the intensity. I have had similar issues where the intensity was too high.

Check out the tips for reducing DOA rate given in this thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/anncncp2pool-for-chncoin-on-100mbit-line-with-low-latency-193216 - The thread is about CNC instead of LTC, but they use the same algorithm, so the info is still useful.

I'm getting a 40% reject rate on p2pool.org mining for LTC, I assume this is abnormal Cry
