Can you guys suggest a paid crypto research that they know of?
I am sure you will get a lot of suggestions but nobody will tell you the fine print of the reality of such paid services and why you should not pay for them.

Everyone wants the hype in this sector. So there is a huge demand for such services but truely speaking nobody catches the trends so quickly, they just jump into the bandwagon, pump the buzz around it and then pull out before it goes bust. These research services you talk about do the same thing. They have teams watching social media and they just market buzz to their clients. It will not matter to them which buzz actually takes off and which one does not, they just want your money.

So if you doing this for a research related purpose, then there is no issue. But if you are doing to to catch trends early and trying to profit from that, then you will be better off monitoring the net on your own then paying someone to do it.

There are many bloggers who monitor all upcoming projects so you just should find some who you consider to be experienced and follow them. Also there are some aggregators that summons  all information about new projects and you can track them. For example, you can get to know about new presales on coinmarketcap and then try to do your own researches based on their web-sites and documents.

There was a site I found on this forum (OffTopic section particularly) that does something similar (I can't recommend it for now as I don't know much about it). It seems to do a comphensive research on things like token/projects security, trustworthiness etc but for no small fee.   Guess what you are asking for are paid services that do minor research on useful/promising projects to invest in. Or would mind services that charge above $20 for comprehensive research? Something like what you want could easily be found online via search engines like Google.
I think you should be careful though, else you use sites that use you to pump and dump scam projects.

I suggest learning this on your own, because the advice from these people is not always correct either. Well, this is the crypto world, even a professional is still having trouble guessing the path of a project.
however, there are many sites regarding ICO ratings that you can find out there, and one of them seems to have been given above. after knowing this information, you can see developments on social media, and telegram. You also need to know the basic concept, team, and also the whitepaper.

I can't suggest you about that but you can join in icodrop community which was actively investing into the various projects to get the hidden gem at early stage. i have joined in this group since a few years ago and it's free.
https://icodrops.com/
Icodrop is known as a reputable ico list site. If you are wanna discovering the new project and then you can try to join in this community but you must always remember to do your own research.

I would like to know about ICOs in advance, NFTs, or the next trends.
Im only a part of community but you will find others in in group who will be actively talking about the new ico, trend and many more.
You can do that by yourself to know which trend that is happening right now by using the coingecko's altcoin trend list.

I don't really know of paid ICO research services and there are a lot of websites out there, that are offering an overview of upcoming ICO's for free, but of course with this sites you never know if they were paid by an upcoming project to get a better rating or stuff like that so you always have to take that "free" info that you are getting there with a grain of salt.
I am part of DuckDao which is a launchpad where you get the chance to get private sale allocations and i have to say that besides from that chance to invest early into projects there are also a lot of people inside this group that have a lot of knowledge and connections in the crypto space. So a telegram group like that is definitely helpful.

If that's all you want to know, there's no need to pay for any research. You only have to monitor closely the trends that are happening not just in the market.

But as well as in the community.

It's all that you need, you have to be proactive to know what are going to be the next trends.
