Thanks. Now would you agree a 15% one time interest should not be compared to a 535% APR loan? I think it would not fit the right context and it should be placed in perspective. It makes it look like a huge interest blown out of it's proportions while it's not.

Well, a 15% per month loan IS 535% APR, but if it is only loaned once, then comparing it a year is irrelevant.
Yes exactly, you express it better.

So would you agree that:
- 535% APR based on 1 interest term is sustainable
- 535% APR based on 12 interest terms is not sustainable

500% APR is unsustainable.
Your statement is not taken the terms into account. That's what I meant with, "it should be placed in perspective.".

Also Vod, could you explain how you get the 500% APR? I couldn't get to it. I was doing 30^6 or 15^12.

Sure.

1.15 (15%) ^ 12 = 5.35 (535%)
1.3 (30%) ^ 6 = 4.82 (482%)

Becareful what you are offering. The last time I offered 30% interest per 2 months I was accused of being a scammer because it recalculates to a 500% APR.

Just my two bitcoin cents.

500% APR is unsustainable.

I agree, I would never actually pay a full year of interest. I would loan max. 2 months for 30% one time interest payment.

If 30% per 2 months recalculates to ~500% APR there's still difference between someone paying a one-time $300 interest over $1000 for a loan or 6 times (compounding) interest in a year.

A one time interest payment would be sustainble, 6 or 12 times would be unsustainable.

Also Vod, could you explain how you get the 500% APR? I couldn't get to it. I was doing 30^6 or 15^12.

I would do this possibly either of 2 ways

1. No Collateral at 33%
2. Alt coins XRP at current value of BTC at 20%

jasonslow - chose option 1 which is no collateral at 33%

https://blockchain.info/address/1LhK3UXb3uruMUq4rq4HPJAmUAo8hbqcv6

Payment is due 2 weeks from today on 9-23-13 at 9:00 PM EST

** Note if someone is willing to send him for less collateral - jasonslow for next 24 hours just return 0.3 at no interest**

Recieved thanks!
