If you are new and don't have any crypto in your wallet, you have to buy BNB or USDT, BUSD from Binance or Kucoin with your currency USD. Then withdraw BNB or BUSD to your ETH wallet (ETH, BSC, HECO chain can be used by same wallet just need to connect with metamask and select the specific blockchain), Connect your wallet/Metamask with Pancakeswap and swap Cake for BNB or Busd. You can earn by staking your CAKE in  Pancakeswap also or your can just hold your Cake.

I need help getting set up with Pancake Swap. I live in the US. I have watched about 75 videos. Some say you can use Binance.us and other say you can use KuCoin to buy cake and bnb for the fees.

So what do I do first? Set up my MetaMask Wallet, set up my Pancake Swap Account, buy by bnb/cake on KuCoin?
I wish there was a class specifically for this so I can have someone explain it as Im doing it rather than which 50 videos and at times the person given a video goes off on tangent or goes to fast. Ugh. Help.
At fast you have to do connect meta mask your my eth wallet then you will entre pancakesowap.com then if you want to transaction just you have to wait for connecting then you have to do approve swap and then you can transaction but if you haven't fee you can send BUSD from Binance exchange to your wallet for a fee then you can convert it BNB but at fast, you can take BNB from trust wallet then you can complete the transaction.

To buy BNB, you can use this service, it does not require verification
https://changelly.com/
how-it-works
https://changelly.com/how-it-works
Use similar registration services to stay anonymous https://tempmail.plus/en/#!
And learn how to use metamask and switch between different blockchains. If you have more than $ 500, consider buying a hardware wallet, the cheapest nano S ledger will do.

Yes. For US citizens you must use Binance.us, because for US citizens there is already a special Binance and cannot be used by other than Americans.
Regarding Pancakes you can buy them on several exchanges. These include Binance, KuCoin, Gate, Bithumb, WazirX and many others. You can also use swap exchanges, but you also need a BSC balance (Smartchain version of BNB).
For details about the exchange see here https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pancakeswap/markets/

you can use binance or kucoin to buy BNB, and if you want to use pancakeswap you have to do withdrawal The BNB with the BEP20 network, because pancakeswap network must use BEP20 or swap fees on pancakeswap

So  if I go to KuCoin am I buying Cake and Bnb separately and transfering it to my MetaMask Wallet address?
yes you can do it, if you can't register on binance. i'd say $10 as mentioned above should be good enough if you don't trade regularly, just make sure it's way more than kucoin minimum withdrawal.

Thank you everyone for your help. I set up my MetaMask and its changed to Binance Smart Chain.

Now I go to pancake swap and link my MetaMask to Pancake Swap?

Im confused about the having binace token and cake? Can I go to KuCoin. I have Coinbase and BlockFi but they dont have Cake.
So  if I go to KuCoin am I buying Cake and Bnb separately and transfering it to my MetaMask Wallet address? I was told that I only need a small amount of bnb to cover the fees. So for example I want to buy and stake $50k of cake. So how much bnb am I buying?

It would be so much easier to just pay someone to do this for me. lol  Im a nurse and work nights and long hours and im not very computer savvy when it comes to this stuff.
But thanks again for any help!!

Correct. Connect MM to PancakeSwap to start using it.

Binance Coin (BNB) is what you need to pay gas fee using Binance Smart Chain. Consider BNB on BSC like ETH on Ethereum.

Instead of buying these two on Kucoin, just buy BNB on Binance itself and withdraw to your MM. You can directly swap any other coin like CAKE on Pancakeswap (it's much cheaper there).

Currently staking and other actions is about 5-10 cents worth of BNB, but I would keep about $10 of BNB for future transactions.

DON'T pay anyone to do this for you! Not your keys not your crypto!:)

If I prefer to use Binance, because I use it often myself, Binance is generally easier to access and find, so it's not too difficult for us to analyze what we need.

Regarding the videos that you have watched, you have even reached 50 videos, what do you think after watching them, are there any conclusions that can be drawn from the results of watching or you are not sure about the video.

Then what steps do you want to take, if this video can't be a reference for you, because we can't necessarily use theory for now or we can't use theory in different places. I suggest you open a discussion either with someone who already understands what you need or with a close friend.

Sometimes we can't properly practice what we see or even the theory itself doesn't really fit into the events we're experiencing, even if we force ourselves to use it, it may not be very helpful and useful for now.

Just set up your metamask wallet first. Then setup new RPC for BSC here the tutorial
Once everything is set you can buy BNB from Binance US and withdraw it to your metamask wallet
After that you can start trading on Pancakeswap, no need to create an account anymore because your wallet is already an account for trading on DEX

Nothing to add except what people already have put here but some tips from my experience, Pancakeswap is Binance supported so only use the guides from Binance Academy (at binance.com)/

When withdrawing from Binance to Pancakeswap MetaMask, always choose the BSC chain (you will be asked several options). When you deposit from MetaMask to Binance, you just make sure you're connected to BSC network. That's about it:)

The only thing you need to do is to setup a metamask wallet. Cake is a decentralized application which you can access by importing your BSC wallet. Maybe try to read first about decentralized application before you jump on using pancakeswap to make sure you are doing things right, The only thing you need to remember was Dapps don't require you to require user to create the account. Just connecting your wallet will give you access on the apps. Just remember to keep your private key or recovery seed safe and don't connect on malicious/phishing website.

First you have to add BSC chain on your metamusk wallet. Go to the Custom RPC setting. Fillup your RPC form like this format

▪️RPC URL - https://docs.binance.org/smart-chain/developer/rpc.html
▪️ Chain ID: 0x38, 56 in decimal (if 56 doesn’t work, try 0x38)
▪️ Symbol : BNB
▪️ Block Explorer: https://bscscan.com

After Setup your BSC Network you will able to connect your wallet on Pancake Swap and Swap any BSC chain token

I don't know why you were recommended to use Kucoin for it. Personally I do it in the following way: in my Metamask I switch to Binance Smart Chain instead of ETH mainnet. And then I buy cakes just in pancakeswap. But you need to have some BNB to interact with this chain. You can get them via Binance exchange (if it is not banned in the USA), just register on it and buy some for your Metamask.

Binance.us doesn't let you withdraw BNB on the BSC network only on the BEP-2 version. It is much easier to buy Bitcoin and then use a VPN to access a no-KYC instant exchanger like Sideshift.ai or FixedFloat.com and trade BTC or alts for the BSC version. Once you have BNB in your wallet then you can buy CAKE directly on Pancakeswap.

just setup you metamask wallet bro then fill it with bnb or whatever BEP-20 coin you want to swap or trade through pancake swap. But remember you need a free balance for every transaction.. After that go to pancake swap website and connect your wallet in metamask then you are ready to go..so easy right?  Actually there's another options which is wallet connect you can use it f you're using trustwallet.

Hey mate.

First, you need to buy any token or coin you want to buy on an exchange, and please try to ask first or looking some information about the exchange did they accept "US User" or not don't make any deposit until you got clear information.

If you successfully buying BNB & Cake and want to start using PancakeSwap
- Created Address supported "Binance Smart Chain" you can use Metamask with Extention Browser or Trustwallet for Andoird/Smartphone device.
- If you using a wallet extension browser make sure, you change the network to "Binance Smart Chain" cause most of wallet will be use "Ethereum" network as the default wallet.
- Then, send the fund to the address
- After that you are ready to go, just connected your wallet to "PancakeSwap"

Evey transaction on BinanceSmartChain need "BNB" as the fee, make sure you have "BNB".

Or, if you are having a difficult time using the methods said above, you could use BNB wallet directly or Trust Wallet which is also supported with Binance. In fact, they own it.
You could use its own browser inside the application and just browse pancakeswap.
That way, it will be connected directly and you can purchase whatever coin you prefer without the inconvenience of logging in.

Your metamask wallet is your account on pancakeswap. You just have to connect it but you need to enable BSC before you could do that. Guide https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/connecting-metamask-to-binance-smart-chain You can start sending BNB or CAKE once you're set up. Remember to choose BSC network when withdrawing from centralized exchanges.

I'm not sure if this is gonna be helpful but I think you should set up MetaMask Wallet first so you would be able to access the Pancake Swap website. If you just want to setup a pancake swap you need metamask and of course at the start it will show Ethereum Mainnet, make sure to change it to Binance Smart Chain network (BEP20) here's a tutorial for it: https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/connecting-metamask-to-binance-smart-chain
