While this is interesting, I am curious about fan noise and fan life from such a small package. I can only imagine the fans are loud.

Assuming this thing is reliable for years, it should mine GPU coins for equal amount of years and coming in a small package, even though you lose the GPU resale, it still has value. Can plug in this one in areas you wouldn't otherwise be able to do so because of space but not lack of power or cooling reasons. So that has me interested... How many of these could you cram into a rack for example vs a traditional rig? ..Quite a bit more.

....but I digress, until videos of this thing get going and actual reviews are made by a trusted third party, this is likely to be another scam because there is no past reputation. I won't "pre-order" anything if there isn't someone out there with past reputation and can verify its real.

However, if this thing is real, and this company is first to market with a real product of this kind, then I'm very interested.

Spot on....  With those little turbo fans though the sound must be stupid loud.  I like that it is small but that's about it really.  Those are server turbo fans and they will blow your eardrums out

When you are done with mining it's probably because it's not profitable anymore.

We are in mining for years already. There is always a coin to mine. Or it will appear after a while even if now there is no any coin with valuable profit... Or something can rise like Monero...

You, me and other people that already did hit ROI probably don't care and can just leave miners as long as they make few bucks per nonth. But look at someone who invested like 2 months ago or smth like that. He is thinking, shit i'm gonna have to wait another 5 months or so to hit ROI, better to sell my hardware now and get my money back while I can

OP is right. I think main advantage of gpu rigs is their resale value. When you are done with mining it's probably because it's not profitable anymore. Someone is always going to need new gpu but integrated miner, nahh..
