What people here do not understand is that us lenders do not care about the story any more.  Your cat could need a shot or you could be feeding the homeless.  We do not care if you are throwing the money out the window, we only care that we get our money back, it is that simple, so the stories are not needed.

Sob stories are going to pop up for sure, some real some fake...
That's because of the prices spiking up and people know that in no time we are going to see a new ATH, so they will definitely try to stack up their bags with as much coins as possible...

Another  newbie  trying to  request a  loan with a  brand new   story.  These  kind of acts  and story  dont really  work anymore to convince  some people  here  to  give you a  loan. Stories  cant do anything.  As  others  said here better to  lock this thread  because  you  cant   get  anything from here.

It's hard for any lender to trust a story like this, especially nowadays a lot of scammers are trying to make up stories just to scam people. If you really need that sum of money there is a lot of ways like pawning/selling your smartphone or any gadget to get the money you need to buy those tickets.

This foolishness gets categorized under the "I'm stranded" scam attempt type.  We see this here periodically, and while I find them to be more amusing than most of the other scam attempts, the scammer never gets anything.  And that is as it should be.

So OP, we've heard this all before in all its iterations.  Sob stories don't work here.  Our hearts are hard as week-old buscuits.  The only thing that gets you a loan around here is collateral.  Not sympathy, not proof of ID, not anything but valid collateral.  Since you don't have it, you ought to start thinking of a plan B.

No one is going to loan you that much with out some sort of collateral of some kind.  There is no way.  If you have any form of collateral, I would post it here before you get painted red.  I do know PAYPAL though and if you call them and inform them that this transaction was not authorized by you, that your acount was hacked, you will have your funds back in no time, less than 24 hours some times.  Good luck.

Hello, I have a big problem, I need to buy bus tickets to the airport which is 700km from this place, in already 3 days!

I had money on Paypal, which I couldn't withdraw because I don't my bank card with me, so I started this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.16834218 to exchange 75$ but i got scammed

and now I am utterly screwed! I have nothing, if I can't make it to the airport then my tickets will go to waste and I will be stuck in a foreign country with no visa and might be sent to jail  Shocked

so how do you know I wouldn't scam you?
I can verify my identity, show my paypal, selfie, national ID etc. My account here is 6 months old, but not active poster. willing to sign a legal contract

I could pay back in 10 days

damn i'm so screwed  Lips sealed

One thing I noticed is that you didnt post who this user is in the other thread (had to dig around and saw the post you made about the user who did), so how do we know if this is a true story that you got scammed? However, you have no real collateral to cover the loan. Accounts can be created under anyone elses names and even verified using information that can be stolen from other (eg ID Theft). Same goes with IDs. If there is any truth in your story then im sorry but you are probably better off asking a friend or family member for the money. I also never heard of a bus company accepting bitcoins (though it is possible). Signing a contract doesnt even help anyone either because it would cost more to recover the default, and probably would be impossible since many courts would probably throw the case out - which would be a waste of time and money. If you sent money on paypal and someone ran off with your money open a resolution claim, but cannot promise any luck with that. You probably wouldve been better off trying to do an exchange using localbitcoin or an exchange that accepts paypal.

Word of advice: If youre doing a trade/exchange, use an trusted escrow. Probably using a multisig wallet.

If the reply above mine didn't give you the idea, then let me if your asking for a bitcoin loan as a newbie on this website, even if you said your mother was dying and you need money no one would have reference to trust you. Since bitcoin is so easy to scam there is big trust barriers around it, since you are a newbie and asking for a loan of this size I would highly recommend clicking the "lock thread" button in the bottom left of this page no one here will be able to fill this loan.

Ooh, shiny things!!
Nice story!  So you've gone to a foreign country without a visa, without making proper travel arrangements and without a debit or credit card.  I know travellers' cheques are virtually obsolete but nobody depends on their Paypal when they go travelling.  If there is any truth to your story then call your friends and family to ask for help.  Maybe they can buy your tickets online for you.  Otherwise contact your consulate.

You have no history here, no collateral and your ID documents are worth nothing if you default.  Nobody will give you this loan.  If they did, how would you pay for your urgent bus tickets with Bitcoin?  By asking for an exchange online and getting scammed again?
