As a passionate about new technologies, I believe that in the future it will be common to pay with btc, usdt or another cryptocurrency anywhere in the world.
I am optimistic that we will not suffer a setback in something like not having internet that makes normal operations difficult for users.
The financial system, banks and institutions have shown agreements and disagreements with bitcoin but we have the advantage that we are free to choose.

Paper USDT sounds like an april joke  Grin

Paper BTC is possible, but it will be a completely centralized project. Basically a bank holding BTC deposits and issuing banknotes for BTC. Just like they did with gold hundreds of years ago. This means fractional reserve, loss of control over your funds - the things that Bitcoin was created to avoid. So who would use paper BTC? Certainly not the people who are attracted to Bitcoin from the ideological perspective.

Paper money will not die though we are getting more digital now so I don’t see any reason to make physical cryprocurrency where its originally made through digital. There’s no company that controls Bitcoin, so no one will print it and consider it as legal tender though if altcoins decided to push this through, I believe the government will not allow that or accept that because they have their own fiat currency.

I believe so paper currency or fiat will never be out of picture of our finance system even lets say we are now in digital finance era because the fact that not everyone in the world could have access to the digital finance and that's for sure still the one thing to consider. In a sense that we will might going to see a paper btc and paper usdt in the new money system I don't think we can because bitcoin is made through digitally by Satoshi.

For usdt and btc i hope the fed and world elite top rulers bankers will also have a usdt and btc cash atm machines so we can get paper btc and usdt it gives a lot confidence and i feel like i have cash also its nice
Just because you have seen countries that have decided to make bitcoin a legal tender as of recent doesn’t mean that there wouldn’t be the need for Fiat. There will still be the need for Fiat and as a matter of fact all those countries that have made bitcoin a legal tender also continues to make use of their Fiat currency. Need I point out to you that the USDT you’re talking about is a cryptocurrency that is paired with fiat? The world is already a cashless society for sure, but not an end to fiat, even fiat can be cashless too.

I barely doubt the process will go other ways round and government will try to print the bitcoin paper notes or maybe a private company whoever will take the tender.
Yeah, if there should be a paper bitcoin, who is going to be printing these paper bitcoins? is it going to be the exchanges or is it going to be the government who we all know for sure are not in control of what happens in the cryptocurrency community and the market? And moreover we don’t need paper Bitcoin; Bitcoin is meant to be digital, and the way I see it, it is going to remain like this.

As we know fiat currency is over soon but i hope we can have at least paper btc and usdt if we have usdt and btc just in device or exchanger its digital and somethimes not internet maybe not get access to our crypto.

What is the point of going back and repeating that old scheme with the printing of paper money? It's obvious that the world is looking toward cashless and electronic payments. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are digital money, why do they need this old form of paper money? Even central banks are already looking at the development of digital money and developing their own versions of digital currency. The world is changing and forms of money are changing, and in order not to stagnate, it is necessary not to go back to the old versions.

We don't need the paper BTC and USDT, it just can't work, as the price of BTC is not pegged and nations can't individually start printing paper USDT, it works over the internet being secured by the blockchain architecture. Paper money is laced with counterfeit and susceptible  to decay always causing money to mop up and mint new ones. All these are not inherent in cryptocurrency.

Having paper btc and usdt is not the problem. I hope the issue is the state governments and so called elites. Since btc is a decentralized currency in which they can't have control over it, and for that they are afraid to allow it to be  printed. Because they have stolen billions and trillions of the fiat currencies.

So having paper BTC and usdt will affect their already stolen fund. Because the fiat currencies will be useless as of that time.

They can only allowed BTC to be printed when they can control over it.

And I also heard that BTC has ATM machines in some Countries, that means paper machine might be realistic in future.

No one knows that except you, paper money remains and will continue to develop with time, what will lose is its value, which is referred to as inflation, countries may change their nature to digital currencies, but this thing will take a lot of time and will not happen during the next 5 years.

For usdt and btc i hope the fed and world elite top rulers bankers will also have a usdt and btc cash atm
USDT is a SHITCOIN that will not last more than the next 5 years, so do not bet on it much and it is much worse than paper currency.

  • USDT is not 1:1 is pegged to USD
  • USDT IS SHITCOIN and will never be as reserve currency, it is slowly die
  • They can freeze your coin even if it is in the wallet.

They who are "they" ??
They freeze urs not mine im wolf  and i got balls Smiley
But there is no legal rights to steal from anyone usdt is still money

I don’t think it’s really needed. The world wants full transparency in the transactions they make. For example, various countries want digital currency because they want full disclosure of the money transactions. This is done so that no one can hide the taxes from the government. I barely doubt the process will go other ways round and government will try to print the bitcoin paper notes or maybe a private company whoever will take the tender.

Also USDT does not seem to be in the position to get printed in paper format. They already have running legal notices for centralised operation but with improper channelling.

Paper BTC is a possibility, but paper USDT doesn't make sense because we already have paper dollars.

There are projects to develop paper based crypto, such as Kong cash:

https://kong.cash/

A paper format isn't necessarily well suited to bitcoin or tether.

A person could print a piece of paper with the public key and private key to a specified sum of BTC holdings. An independent 3rd party could verify the details and stamp their approval on the piece of paper to create essentially spendable paper BTC. But I think it would take years for people to accept this process as normal and for people to trust the independent 3rd party as genuine. A single scam, hack or negative publicity could completely sabotage the trust process.

But this is not what BTC was built for. BTC is more of an inflation protected HODL asset. It wasn't designed to be spent quickly or in large volumes via a paper system.

I think people would better off using something else as a basis for paper crypto.

Paper btc? There are the paper wallets but you will not know they're legitimate until you process them on the blockchain. It has to be recorded and go through the process because that's the essence of owning and transacting with bitcoin.
Without such, whether you call it paper btc or anything you want, there's no sense if it can't be recorded nor processed in the network.

Its my choise if i wamt to hold my Btc in pocket or in wallet or exchanger i prefer in pocket as paper btc and usdt
You like USDT and you want to use Bitcoin as a paper banknote, which is just .. not how it was meant to be used?

If you like paper and USDT, why are you even here?  It is our choice how we store and use it, but you mentioned yourself it makes you FEEL like you have cash.  It makes no sense to use Bitcoins as banknotes simply because the Bitcoins on it will still be digital.

Furthermore.  How do you ensure the private key has been safely produced and stored or disposed of.  How do you ensure the banknotes are not fake.  There are HUGE security issues we can not ignore.  That is, unless the government somehow magically decides to create Bitcoin banknotes backed by real Bitcoin, similar to the Gold Standard.

I could barely understand what you're trying to say with that, and the parts that made grammatical sense weren't correct.  Fiat isn't "over" unless you know something the rest of the world doesn't, and I very much doubt that.

And why in the world would we ever need paper bitcoin?  The security issues alone would preclude significant adoption, and that's on top of the lack of adoption of bitcoin as a form of money that people actually use to buy goods and services.  There's someone who's completely backward in his thinking here in this thread, and I know it ain't me.

How about you print some paper wallets? Here you go ! The fiat side of btc is already there.
Paper wallets are great, but I don't think there's any chance the world is going to be using them as if they were banknotes.

Then how transactions are recorded in the blockchain? All bitcoin transactions should be public. If I give you a paper instead of making a transaction, that doesn't really have any difference with fiat.
How can you guarantee that extra papers won't be created from thin air? What if someone give you a fake paper?
Who will print the papers? Central banks? Didn't satoshi create bitcoin to eliminate third parties and let people to be their own bank?

If you want to give someone a paper instead of making a transaction, use fiat. You don't need bitcoin for that.

In few years we would be even closer to the cashless society which does mean that anything related to paper money and paper currencies would disappear, making it harder to use paper btc and paper cryptocurrencies as well.  I do understand that we do have an internal problem of needing internet since we cannot expect it to be there time and again but consider technologies like starlink, most probably it would be more widespread and the internet would be more accessible to everyone.

At the same time you cannot use bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies without the internet because of the volatility the change in price needs to be evaluated every once in a while making it more important. Considering btc cash machines, I hope you mean the machines that would exchange the btc into cash in matter of seconds and provide the user the amount, there is no other way about the area.

No i mean BTC cash paper bills to make sure we dont rin into inflation and hyperinflation problems those paper bills should have expiry date on it the bigger the value the shorter the expiry date.
