It is up to you what you will choose because it depends on how you can secure your tokens and how you can manage to protect it from other people who are trying to scam/hack your accounts. I suggest that you use a more dependable and trusted hardware wallet out there. I use trezor to secure my coins and mew.

Paper wallets are more suitable for long term storage so yes, If you're not planning to spend them anytime soon, It's the way to go. You can start by going to Bitaddress.org, download the source code and run it locally (offline).
