Participating in auctions as a newbie doesnt seem possible.. newbies can keep making alt accounts and posting on thread in newbie section.

I believe its 5 posts and you have to wait five hours
With 5 posts and 4 hours of total logged in time (whichyou can see at the top of your screen) you should be all set.

Does anyone know the requirements for being able to participate in auctions?
I have 4 posts (5 with this one) and have log-in time of about 5 hours.
Even though I'm a newbie, I am an experienced stock/currency trader and have set aside money to invest in BTCs/ASICMiner shares.
It is frustrating not to be able to do so.
