Don't waste your time with airdrops of shitcoin - you will earn too small or nothing. It's much profitable to join bounty campaign

I guess it depends on luck a little. Those who participated in airdrops early on like Lumens and Gbyte are sitting on a lot of money now. But those who took part in airdrops over the last few months might notice that only 1 or two are actually having any value. I think in terms of profit, you probably end up breaking even, not for the amount of money but the time you spend with them.

Safe? As long as you never give away information that will compromise your coins, you should be safe. A decent airdrop never asks for payment, so that is a red flag already if they ask you for something.

how much $ did you guys made by just following airdrops by the best month?

Initially I participated in a dozen airdrop and got a couple of different tokens.
In the end, it turned out that I was wrong to replace the token BLUE for ETH because it became significant in the later period.
It with airdrop is like a roulette and a game of chance. You never know.
One of my friends at the level of the month managed to make over 700 euros, which was a great result.  Wink

WOW That's hell of a money.

Recently, I have participated in so many airdrops and in the process you are expected to give out your details. However, I have only received very few of the airdrops despite the number of airdrops i have participated in. It leaves me to wonder why I don't get to receive these tokens. Are there reasons why I don't eventually get them. Secondly, is participating in many airdrops safe?
Yes it's safe and very safe untill they not ask you to share your private key.till now I joined more than 50 airdrops and earned what I should earn. If you are finding airdrops then you can visit us here. http://cryptocreed.com/airdrop/
Thanks for your response . I hope what you earned were meaningful. I will check out the link you dropped
If they do already come to a point on where they are already asking for your private key then that airdrop is total bullshit because it would just tend to scam out newbie people who do dumbly obey the orders and input those important keys of their MEW wallet which causes for them to lose money. This is why we should really be aware on the informations that we do put up and also just make use of dummy emails not on your personal email or which being used on bank accounts or any other money accounts.

Do not participate in airdrops that offer you to buy tokens or send some money to get coins, as well as in those where you are asked to enter your private key from the purse. And participation can bring profit, just choose carefully.

thanks dude, I thought it was me alone , I have been wondering why that happens to me, I'm even wondering why after submitting the necessary , they still request for the same detail. I can't just imagine if they are trying to avoid being Involved In many airdrop or they are just adjusting in their own way. maybe its not a big deal anyway.

I raised a good amount of money from airdrops with zero investment, nowadays they slowed a little bit but it is essential to follow the right websites such as airdropalert.com.
On the safe side, I can say that if you are not giving your private key or send some gas money for transactions, there is no risk for you.

How do you know if there is a new Airdrop? -snip-

Airdropalert.com

you can join in telegram channels too. there are many telegram channels that give info about an airdrop, search something like "free airdrop". you can also search in this forum with "airdrop" and sort the result with the most recent topics. and voila, you will know if there is a new airdrop without browsing each page of altcoin board

I made a similar experience; i participated in around 30 airdrops but only about 10 were successful.
Though i made some good profits of several hundred dollar and the only information i had to reveal was: bitcointalk profile link, twitter / facebook profile link / retweet link, wallet address.

So, it's some safe free money, go & grab it!

How do you know if there is a new Airdrop? Is there a website where you can check about new airdrops? I heard the forum rules were restricted that there isnt any advertisement for airdrops in the forum anymore. I am still a beginner and would like to participate in my first airdrop to get a feeling for "which project is decent and which might be a scam".

Thanks for your help and I would be really happy for an answer.

All the best and kindest regards,

The existence of airdrop is one of the ways to promote a new project, a future crypto currency, etc.
Quite often it just stays on it, and those who are serious in their project are trying to reward companions.

if you participate in Airdrop, it is desirable to use them specially registered address of the wallet aщк airdrops - and never use the same password you use for serious things, like, mail, or wallet.

It is very safe to join in airdrops because you do not hve to give in what ever info you have, abd yes yoy can only get few coins in tgeir because it is a free money giveaway so you do not have to ask for too much for that, it is free remember it is like what faucet too.

in my recent joining of airdrops ( i'm not interested on it ever since but i tried) i think it is safe as long as they don't ask your private key  Cheesy
it's not profitable as many people say because some of those coins from airdrop don't have much value in exchanges.

If you didnt get those free tokens then its either you arent eligible or not included on the list because they might have a cut-off of participants or you didnt able to accomplish on the requirements that they do ask. Participating on airdrops is actually safe but be careful on giving informations which they do ask specially important ones. Profits would be also on random because not all coins are similar.

I'm really interested in understanding this system and improving it, I recently purchased FreeCoins .org and would love to give the market true value for the data you're giving in exchange. Ultimately, that is what you are selling. Do having a stake in the growth of a new coin give you incentive enough to participate?

My personal experience has been mostly positive, but like someone said above, the spam is now unstoppable. Which seems to be a bigger problem about the people selling your information you exchanged for a few tokens, than the people hiring marketers to distribute rewards for attention.

What would you improve about airdrops?

Your income is directly depends on amount of airdrops you are doing daily.
For example ETH Blue, Bitcoin Red - they gave a good profit for every participant.
Don't forget EBTC airdrop which its price did able to rise up but its just an another pump and dump coin and now dev had already gone away and taking some serious money. Its just being hyped up that's why the price did rise up on least we expected.Thats a normal erc20 token which have been hyped up and pumped. Its really profitable on some airdrops but its total random just like being said on previous post. Its actually safe since you didn't put any money or to invest on.

Yeah, participatimg in airdrops is safe as far as they don't ask you for private keys of your wallet. If anyone demands private key, then they are definitely scammers. Regarding profits, nobody knows how will the ICO be? It all depends interest of an ICO and if you skip any terms that has have been set for eligibility of token payments like if there was compulsory to join their telegram and you didn't join them, then you will not be paid

That`s right. It`s safe as far as they don`t ask wallet private key.
If you don`t recieve the token airdrop maybe you don`t follow the instruction properly.
Too many airdrop project not success and most of all is just spam. So don`t hope too much.
If you are lucky you will get many.
I think you should try bounty instead airdrop.

Some companies conduct first airdrop, then bounty, then ico . will have to be patient. I guess in 2-3 months it will come a large number of coins. Just be careful, watch what data you enter, but this is a common security measure.

So far, everything is important.
To conclude: do not give data to the private key, and everything else is OK and does not pose a danger to you.
Your estimate is whether you chose the right airdrop or not.

Just google for "upcoming crypto airdrops". I usally use airdropalert.com, but there are also many announcements made on this forum or on twitter. Search in the altcoin announcement / tokens section and you will find some.
And it doesn't matter if the airdropped coin turns out to be a scam if you never shared your private keys or invested some money into it.  Smiley

At the moment, there are a lot of projects that attract us, but not so many projects that really will grow. At the moment, I'm watching three good projects, one of the best (in terms of ease of procurement is Kalkulus). You can pay attention that the coin looks interesting, and the cost makes us buy at least a few thousand to expect growth.

Currently everyday there is an ICO or Airdrop is launched. Though you cannot differentiate between, which are the genuine or fake ICO / Airdrop?
If an ICO is fraud there is HIGH risk of loss, whereas in Airdrop you don’t lose anything.

I think it's safe as long as you are careful to fill out the form, you shouldn't enter your wallet address with your private key, because sometimes airdrop is used by the scammer, for now most airdrop reward is very small values, but not all of them, there are some very good airdrop results

I do not participate in airdrops because too few tokens comes. And most of them are uninteresting coins that have no value. But if you recall, ETH Strat and also once handed out free of charge. Unfortunately I then knew nothing about cryptocurrency

Well if you see the ratio from successful to failure is widespread. Like if you apply for 50 airdrops , out of that few handful will give you the tokens and from that hardly any of them will have a good value in near future or in coming years. So only option is to apply and forget you had applied or just do not apply considering its not worth your time and efforts.

Airdrop is safe as long as we are alert and cautious when filling in the requested data, but it is not always beneficial, if airdrop is correct, it not always have good profit, especially now many fake airdrops, most fake airdrop aims to collect email address data from bitcointalk accounts, which they then offer for sale to those who need email addresses from bitcointalk account, it could be the data is used for illegal purpose, in my opinion better be careful and always wary with airdrop
Thank you for your thoughts. I guess I'll just be careful and avoid giving out sensitive information while filling out forms for airdrops

Don't be surprised because this is just a normal thing to happen which not all airdrops you do participate will really give those free tokens but somehow a good practice since you would able to increase the chance on receiving.Might not be complete but would be still worth on some coins though. I would say it is really just safe as long you don't give important informations like Wallet keys etc. but if you are just being asked on simple things like username, twitter, telegram or any other things they require for you to be eligible for airdrop then it should be fine.

airdrops are safe and you can earn big when the project or the token you recieve will pump, the only thing you must avoid in joining airdrops is never put your private key on the form ,some members do this mistake.

This is safe as long as you do not share your private key. Do not be surprised, it happens. As for the distribution between receipt of tokens and fillable forms, there are many factors that do NOT generate tokens. In my opinion, it is better to reduce the number of completed forms, and to go deeper into the study of each individual project. Take not quantity but quality.
