Where do you think the inspiration for some of these miner implementations came from?
well, makes you add a few characters to the encryption of you wallet.dat doesnt it?
add 1-2 zeroes to those numbers, this would give you the ballpark idea.... though people are kind of busy with bitcoin mining and do not care about passwords much....

Article says they can brute force passwords at 3.3 billion/second with a GPU, compared to only 9.8 million/second with the CPU. Curious what some of you guys can get with your rigs.
