Thanks XCASH,

You went above and beyond the call of duty!  You even took the trouble to post an image.

I did what you said, and it worked perfectly.

Many Thanks!!!

Many people use software such as ShareX, literally takes about ten seconds to take a photo, see I did one too:-

Anyway, I'm posting to point out, if you don't want to enable hidden folders, you can just do:-
Code:
%appdata%

In the address bar:-

It'll take ya there.

These instructions are for windows 8, but vista is almost the same.

You have to find the control panel and then open "appeanance and personalization". Then you open folder options , click the view tab, and click "show hidden files, folders, and drives".

The red arrow below shows you where to click.

You will then be able to see the folder you want in

C:\Users\your name\AppData\Roaming

where "your name" is whatever your windows user name is.

Hi,
I can't get my wallet to find any nodes.  I think the problem is that I downloaded the wallet to my laptop which is running Vista.

I think the wallet wants the config file to be in C: Users > Username >AppData > Roaming > xxxxcoin.

But Vista is not set up that way.  At least  I can't find AppData.

Can I change the path the wallet is using to look for the config file?

I tried putting the config file in the same folder as the executable, but that does not seem to do any good.

Thanks for any help you can give!!
