Blockchain-IoT ecosystem for optimization of the international supply chains. Our target is to give additional business time to the market measured 8,6 trln. $ in a year. The price of every hour is 1 bln. $. How will we achieve this? By solving two main problems: lack of trust and backlog of information from goods.
Slogan
The time is money. Lots of money.
Project presentation: https://yadi.sk/i/Pm0XOm_Q3S9WTz

Pitch
Time matters.
Especially in supply chains, where hundreds of suppliers deliver thousands of components for the production of the complex machinery, or the freshest products cross the ocean to be served on our table.

Objective of PAX+ project - acceleration of international cargo delivery by implementing Blockchain.

The mission is defined by the name of the project (pax (from lat.) - “peace”,   “+” – is the symbol of openness) – achieving synergy on 8,6 trln. world logistics market where every hour matters.

Our product is an adaptive bockchain-IoT ecosystem which solves 2 main market`s problems: lack of “trust” and “backlog” of information from goods.
PAX+ system can simply synthesize more effective service in cooperation with any “smart” logistic product. Competition is not about us. Only efficiency. Only optimization.
Changes in supply chains after system`s implementation:
-   “trust” during money transferring and information verification,
-   real-time control of transportation progress and cargo condition,
-   situational predictability,
-   multithreaded documentation processing,
-   instant resolution of disputes.
The economic effect on the market where 1 hour`s price is 1 billion dollars won`t keep you waiting!

USP
1.   Complexity of the solution – soft- and hardware (information and goods are inseparable),
2.   Adaptability - it solves the next problems together or separately:
-   “trust”,
-   safety of money transferring (only if the terms of the smart contract are executed),
-   insurance,
-   digital workflow,
-   guarantee of safety of the goods,
-   confirmation of the authenticity and quality of goods
3.   The cost of the device is less than $ 100 (freight cost of the container from China (Shanghai) to Russia (port of St. Petersburg) - $ 3500)
4.   Simplicity of implementation: 1 container – 1 device.

Vision

- the lack of "trust" between the participants of the chain
attracts the rise of price of the transportation by including the price of "risk" in the tariff: theft of goods, the bankruptcy of counteragents, the costs of checking the conscientiousness of counterparties, forgery of documents (the risk of who provides documents to the regulatory authorities) - the costs of documents verification, the risk of hidden damage to cargo (it is difficult to determine at what stage it happened), etc.,
- backlog of information transferring from the actual movement of goods:
the use of paper documents, the need for postal transfers of originals to the arrival port, cargo damage can be detected only when accepting by the recipient,
- high transaction costs:
fragmentation of the market causes a slow information exchange, which entails an increase in the period of transportation and processing of documents,
- a large number of participants (for example, when transporting a container of flowers from Kenya to Rotterdam up to 30 participants are involved and more than 200 interactions with documents and goods happens) - consecutive information processing by each participant leads to an increase in the period of transportation.
Our vision of the market after PAX+ system implementation

Token economy
Token name: PAXel
Token symbol: PAX
Type of token: APP-token (utility)
Emission: 200 000 000
Decimals: 18
Base exchange rate: 1 PAX = 0,141 USD, (1 ETH = 7557 PAX)
Stock exchange rate: not regulated
Rate inside PAX+ system: 1 PAX = 0,1 XDR
Exchange rate: is not regulated
The rate inside the system: 1 PAX = 0,1 XDR
XDR (Special Drawing Rights) is chosen as a fixing value for calculating the cost of the tariff, as it is a balanced indicator calculated from the rates of 5 reserve currencies (USD, EUR, CNY, JPY, GBP) which reflects the world economic situation. The project is focused on business representatives, therefore we consider extremely important the predictability of the cost of the system in the financial planning.
PAX token rate is equal to the Special Drawing Rights inside the system. That means the tariffs for use, the price of services within the system will always be stable for clients regardless of the stock exchange rate of PAX token.
For example, the base price of the service is 100 PAX or 10 XDR / 14.1USD. During the stock exchange trades, the price of 1 PAX increases to 10 XDR / 14.1USD (in 100 times). In order not to allow the service to become more expensive when converting to fiat currencies, the service cost remains fixed at 10 XDR, so the user will pay 1 PAX instead of 100 PAX.

Token price increase
The token is used to pay for access to the service, use its functions, purchase of IoT-devices, payment transfers (for goods and services) in the system. The increase of the number of users will cause the price of tokens to increase due to a limited supply.
The reason of demand for PAX token is saving on expenses for companies:
-   optimization of the supply chain by time and capacity congestion,
-   secure transfer of funds (similar to PayPal) - savings on bank letters of credit,
-   minimal commission for transfer (less than 1 %),
-   instant transfer of funds after the terms of the smart contract are executed,
-   documents verification,
-   real-time forecasting of supplies and facilities load,
-   operational information of the condition of goods (if there`s damage or not),
-   resolution of insurance disputes,
-   general decrease in the level of risk in foreign trade – due to "trust" within PAX + system

Technical model of the PAX +system

Terms and Definitions
The Subject of system – a person registered in PAX + system which have certain rights in the system, depending on the role of business processes. When entering the system the subject has to pass identification, authentication and authorization processes, interact actively with other users, can create new transactions in the blockchain and sign them using public and private keys, thereby confirming the authenticity of the transactions.
Recipient - subject of the system, who can initiate a new transaction chain by placing purchase order. After delivery he`s got the right of ownership.
The sender / Manufacturer - subject of the system, who can add transactions by placing an order for loading, receives an order for delivery of goods from the recipient.
The carrier / carriers - subject / subjects of the system responsible for the entire process of delivering the goods from the manufacturer to the final buyer. Adds confirmation transactions of goods receipt from the sender / producer.
Other participants (Banks, insurance companies, etc.) are subjects of the system who make payments and input information to the blockchain, after receiving confirmation (corresponding transactions) from the system about performance/non-performance of the terms of the smart contract. The process can be configured for automatic execution.
IoT-device - a physical device that uses sensors and microcontrollers to record information about the goods in blockchain (time interval of recording are optionally installed).

Business processes

System components:
-   IoT-device
-   User interfaces,
-   Web-services,
-   Blockchain.
IoT-device  uses sensors and microcontrollers to read the necessary product parameters inside the container, all logs are written as transactions in the blockchain.
For recording and viewing transactions in real time Subjects of the system use visual interfaces of PAX + system, in which they were verified using web-services. There are two types of user interfaces for PAX + system: regular and simplified.
The regular user interface in a convenient form offers the ability to view all transactions in the blockchain for the goods. This interface is available to the manufacturer, recipient, carrier and technical support. Manufacturer and recipient are the main parties in the system and business processes, so they need to see the whole process of transportation of goods at different stages, make decisions about the continuation or termination of the smart contract (if the terms of the smart contract allow it) .
The carrier has the access to the regular user interface because of his responsibility for the delivery process, so he needs to have full access to the blockchain.
The simplified user interface is available to other subjects of the system, and allows to display only those transactions, which are sufficient for payments (or other actions according to their competence).

The transaction block consists of information about the movement of goods and the signature block, which is added after the electronic signature of the transaction`s author. The author of the transaction signs each block using a pair of keys - public and private.

Detailed description

The target audience of the project
1. Logistics and related business
- freight liners (forecasting congestion, optimizing information exchange (due to no need of verification), total digitalization of document circulation, the availability of free containers, the ability to give a discount to the tariff due to the availability of empty containers),
- Container manufacturers (integration of devices into containers - a competitive advantage over other manufacturers - an increased guarantee of cargo safety in the mind of clients),
- transport companies (agents) (forecasting, simplicity and speed of selection of containers, optimization of document circulation and use of transport, automation of mutual settlement payments),
- seaports and auto / railway terminals (forecasting employment of loading equipment and personnel, intensification of information exchange);
- auto-carriers (forecasting traffic congestion, automation of mutual settlement payments).

2. Blockchain and other IT-projects in transportation
- block-chain projects aimed, for example, on the monitoring of product quality (AMBROSUS) or the selection of the best-priced logistics product (IMMLA) will receive a real-time monitoring tool that provides the binding of information to the product,
- international transportation aggregators (availability and forecasting of the availability of free containers),
- financial blockchain products aimed to replace banks (IoT-device objectively fixes the terms of execution of smart contracts to automate payments),
3. Financial sector
- insurance companies (objective fixation of events during transportation = rapid resolution of insurance disputes),
- banks (automation and speed of operations),
- large import-export companies (retail, such as Wal-Mart) - cost savings, product quality control, predictability and variability in real time.

Financial Effect

The growth of the market is provided by a reduction of time spent on technical procedures: checking documents and counteragents, resolving insurance and financial disputes, etc.

Our goal is to give at least one additional business day to the global logistics market (+24 billion dollars a year). Does it sound ambitious? Perhaps, but let’s get back to the numbers – only 4 minutes of workday routine are needed to optimize daily technical processes to realize this task!
Additional Growth Driver
The development of world IoT-market
The application of such young and promising technology as blockchain in the rapidly growing IoT market will allow PAX + project investors to multiply their investments. This position is confirmed by researches and forecasts of authoritative world companies.
On September 2017, the IT corporation Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) published the results of a research on the Internet of things (IoT). About 3100 executives and IT specialists in 20 countries of the world were interviewed to compile a report. According to HPE, approximately 57% of companies have already implemented IoT-technologies, and by 2019 this share could grow to 85%. Many (88%) of those who already use the Internet of things, admitted the rapid investment return in these projects.
According to IDC, in 2017 the expenses for the Internet of things will grow by 17%, showing that customers around the world are willing to pay for the implementation of these technologies. Organizations continue to invest in equipment, software, services and communication networks, and by 2021 the total expenses will reach $ 1.4 trillion. [4].
In 2017, the production sector will be the main source of investment in IoT technology ($ 105 billion), while the second place is taken by the goods transportation control systems (up to $ 50 billion).
According to the IHS forecast, the world market of IoT will grow from 15.4 billion devices in 2015 to 30.7 billion in 2020 and up to 75.4 billion devices by 2025.

In the potential for growth in the IoT market other agencies converge, despite the differences in the estimated number of devices in use:
- according to the research of industry analysts of PricewaterhouseCoopers, the number of "connected" devices will reach 20-50 billion units by 2020,
- Gartner predicts that by the end of 2017, there will be 8.4 billion Internet-connected devices around the world. Compared with last year, their number will increase by 31%.
It is expected that by 2020 the number of IoT-devices will reach 20.4 billion units. By the end of 2017, the volume of the Internet market of things in monetary terms will be $ 1.7 trillion against $ 1.4 trillion in 2016. And by 2025 the market will grow to an impressive $ 6.3 trillion.
The planned share of the PAX + project on the IoT market is 0.1%, or $ 6.3 billion a year.

Ways to achieve synergistic effect of the PAX + system and other blockchain projects in logistics

The table shows that there`s no need for logistics blockchain projects to compete. It demonstrates the possibility of joint development of the "blue ocean" of blockchain-logistics, due to:
- complementarity,
- expansion of the functional and market of its products,
- providing customers with maximum service.
For example, PAX + service can achieve maximum functionality by integrating into projects using RFID and other tags that capture product information (digital passports). PAX + IoT-device  automates the process of accounting and reconciliation of goods by scanning smart labels during process of loading which will save time and money. Additional integration into optimal logistics routes search services will provide the most efficient and fast delivery of goods from point "A" to point "B".
