If they are a high volume trader, they should be worried of what could happen to their account and possibly give in.
They probably won't even notice it if they're a high volume trader/ don't understand it.
I'm pretty sure english isn't the first language for the most sellers on paxful, and i really wonder how you can get a message like this across to them.

That's just my experience of sellers on paxful in general though. Might not apply on this case exactly, but...

Disputes usually take 24-48 hours only for review, and a user could expect a reply within a week. However for your case, this has already involved 3 different entities, and the seller should, out of good will, refund you the $100 immediately. I say escalate this further and wait for Paxful's reply. If the seller doesn't cooperate, request for the seller's account termination or suspension. If they are a high volume trader, they should be worried of what could happen to their account and possibly give in.

I think you don't try to search for any information first before you decide to buy bitcoin from paxful. If you can search information about how to buy bitcoin with safe, then I don't think that you will use paxful and you will use localbitcoin because localbitcoin will be the best place for everyone to buy bitcoin with people which is near from their house. At least in localbitcoin, you will found many recommended seller which will help you to have bitcoin.
So my advice gives them time to solve your problem, and you should be patient for a while. Next time, you need to be careful before buying bitcoin in any places, make sure you already search the recommended seller, so you don't have the same experience.
I don't think the seller could have done anything to prevent this though, he probably isn't even aware of the doublespent made to him. (Maybe he is, i'm not sure, but it's likely if you do 50/100 paxful transactions a day, that a 100$ transaction more or less isn't immediately noticeable.)

Last thing they asked me was to put picture of my bank statement showing two $100 transaction.  how much longer is this going to take?? I send them message again and no response... I think this will be my last time using paxul... takes way to long to get in touch with them..
You expect them to help you without proof? Neither paxful nor the seller is really at fault here, as mentioned. You should take it up with Zelle, as they're the ones who wrongfully authorized a second payment?

Yeah, its unlikely that you will get your money back. All these sites like paxful or localbitcoins, do advertise methods with high risk. And because it can be risky, you can't have an escrow after payment is received. Even though Paxful suggested starting that trade, it will probably not result in anything. As for the time frame, they have solved a dispute for me in the past within 2 days, which is also dependent on the communication time taken by the seller and buyer, but your case wouldn't be simple. I would also suggest leaving a negative feedback so the seller isn't able to scam anyone else after this.

The problem lies in the payment method that you chose and not Paxful escrow service, I really hate Paxful but you can not blame them for that. mistakes always happening.
Next time try to deal with active sellers and then check each seller's ratings "responding to feedbacks/trying to adjust them or ignore them.."
Also, active sellers will be afraid of freezing their funds by paxful support because of your communication.

A lot of regulatory rules will be imposed on Paxful and thus the cases of the competition "timeframe on dispute" will be more accurate.

I currently have dispute going on with the seller.  i purchased $100 worth of bitcoin.  I paid via zelle andd everything was fine.  Later that night, I was going to purchase again through different seller via zelle.  When I logged into my account, previous transaction was pending and says I have to verify myself.  So I clicked the button and bank sent me a 6 digit text msg and I put that number to verify myself.  Once verification went through, zelle decided to send another payment of $100 to seller I purchased from earlier.  So I quickly message the seller and he advice me to deal with the bank.  Long story short, bank can not help me since zelle is third party app and seller does not refund me the $100.  I contacted paxful and they asked me to open another trade with seller and mark it paid and ask seller to pay me with coin.  if seller refused to release the coin, I can dispute the transaction and moderator will help me.  Well, it's been 5 freaking days and moderator messaged me three times and that's it.  Last thing they asked me was to put picture of my bank statement showing two $100 transaction.  how much longer is this going to take?? I send them message again and no response... I think this will be my last time using paxul... takes way to long to get in touch with them..

It's technically not the seller's problem, because of the fact that he never forced you to send the funds twice.

But since Paxful's support has given you a way of recourse, and you have followed that, that's the best you can do. If the seller isn't responding or willing to release straight away, then there is nothing you can do but to wait for Paxful to intervene.

This process can take some time. I've heard people in the past have similar delays with Paxful's conflict resolution, so it's not a new issue. I'd still keep calm though because the funds are in escrow still, and Paxful is likely going to rule in your favour eventually if you've done precisely what they've asked you to do, which is to open a new trade.

Your seriously gonna cry over only $100

you are crazy?  $ 100 is money, there's a lot you can buy with $ 100, do not make jokes in bad taste. Even if it was $ 1, it would still be money that belongs to someone and that someone deserves to have their $ 1 back

I think this will be my last time using paxul... takes way to long to get in touch with them..

Unfortunately many things related to crypto are like this, this is due to the lack of periodic inspections on the part of the governments, that is why we have this lack of respect and poor service delivery. Do not use more paxful
