I've been trading with Paxful quite sometimes, I haven't had any issues with buyer and sellers I traded with. Welcome to Pax!

So I dug around and of course, vultures of media wouldn't publish the outcome.

I doubt that an up and coming platform would be owned by some thugs or anything equivalent but then again....
There's trump's companies.

Hello Guy's
I have created  account on Paxful. I want to start trade. I have no special idea about trading. I have seen, some of my friend earning very weel by the mean of trade on Paxful.
So why I am interested about trade on Paxful.
I have 400$+ worth of bitcoin. I want to sell them on paxful and want to gain some profits.
Any warning , Suggestions ?
You Guy's are very helpful , so why I posted here.
Thanks in advanced.

i think you need to move into other market exchanges like poloniex, bittrex, kraken and else because i think paxful is not recommended by many of members here. and if you have $400+ worth of bitcoin, you can easily transfer it into that market exchanges so you can start doing trading with altcoin or fiat. i think its more easy to trading into market exchanges and gain some profit rather than you only use paxful which is not recommended. but if you are really comfort and enjoy to stay with paxful, so its not a problem and its should be fine for you.

Eh, I personally wouldn't trust Paxful with any of my Bitcoins, their owners are notoriously sketchy people.
Take a look at this article:

LOL! Who the f**k cares?
I really don't care much about people's background the only thing I care about is if their platform works.

Paxful resolved all of my disputes and reports. Owner =/= company.

People have been buying from companies owned by trump and no one bats an eye. LOL

There are lots of scammer in paxful specially with bitcoin to paypal trades so you better be careful when selling your bitcoins for paypal to guys with very few trade history and negative/neutral feedback there.

Don't accept reversible payment methods like paypal, skrill etc to sell your bitcoin. Also make small margin in your sell and buy order so that you can make good number of daily trades and this can also help you to obtain your first few orders & trust.

In my country skrill and neteller supported, but I will never accept skrill. Thanks a lot for give me you important time.

Maybe start trading at LBC?

Agreed. Localbitcoins would be a better option in my opinion too. There's far less trust needed rather than relying on them to escrow properly etc. You would be better off if you practise with say $100 then one you know what you're doing you can go all in with the $400.
It might be a lot harder to get established in LBC though, but not impossible.
Are there other similar platforms? Might be possible to try your luck at Bitsquare, the decentralised exchange, far less competition there and upon first look, it's being used.

Instead of LBC, Paxful is mostly use here. Thank you guys. I need some time to understand.

Paxful has a supposed escrow system but it's not ideal. Look into the advice left on each trader's profile and pay extra attention to the age of profiles and tlhow genuine feedback might be.
