Don't think It's a good idea to pay a fee to get limits removed, the best way is how it is now, you need to spend some time to get your limits reduced ,so that's what you should do.

Just couple of more day and you won't even notice that you ever had to suffer all this , once it goes down from 360 to 70something you won't even notice it ? Yeah I can understand the frustration but keeping calm and Patience advised. till then just wander around .

Wait, you want to remove limits?

How about no...

That's just like opening up the floodgate for bots of all kinds. And I'm not interested in having a ton of boys plaguing threads I'm trying to read.

Plus the mods would probably have a troublesome time keeping up with all the bans.

Cry  No, don't do that, let people who are new like me, be released into the wild slowly, and let us learn the meaning of patience, and when we are ready, we will blossom into who we need to be to suceed in the site

You only need about 20 posts for the posting delay to be dramatically reduced.

In fact, the limit is reduced to 75 seconds when you have 15 activity.
But since "activity" is different from "post count", making 20 posts doesn't necessarily reduce the limit. Smiley

It isn't fair for some people. Newbies are usually new to bitcoin. They would be turned off by the fact that they cannot remove limits since they do not have BTC. It wouldn't give the forum good image since they are pocketing newbies money. Spam bots can also spam the whole forum up without waiting for a few minutes.

The posting delay is the board's last line of automated defense against potential spammers. If all it takes to remove that is a few dollars, then any Paypal/CC thief can spam up the board in no more than 5 minutes, leaving the staff busy cleaning up the mess left by a hundred spambots.

The maximum posting delay is only 6 minutes. Anyone who has anything important to say can wait that long. Most people who want that delay completely removed only want to post stupid things like "haha lol" or "gib me bitcoins" anyway.

How about this? we already do this for spammy-looking registrations.

Can we do the same for posting/logging/searching limits?
