Lot of speculation and going with it, I bought PYC. Found more about it. I could recover only a part of the investment.
I am sharing this because I don't want people to lose their money because of this. I made a loss of around 0.15BTC (which is big enough for me.)

https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/PYC_BTC sells the wrong coin.

ICO of the new Paycoin starts in 3 days. People are buying the wrong Paycoin.

Extract:
Is PYC and PayCoin the same thing
No

What are the pre minted coins that Josh is talking about
A pre-mine to get the coins for the initial ICO rounds
What will eventually happen to the PYC currency which is already there
Who would care ?
What abbreviation will the PayCoin have.
Not announced/disclosed
Are there any legal complications in two coins having the same name
Do they ?
Will the PYC price be affected at the time of PayCoin release.
No

I also suggest that, two coins should NOT be allowed to have same names if the initial one is already traded in the market like Cryptsy.
