Paying with crypto is now more accessible than ever because of the massive cryptocurrency that happened in the past months and still continuing now. One of the biggest Cryptocurrency adoptions was when Paypal announced it. As we all know how many users does PayPal has.  And it is being followed by giants private companies too like Toyota and also the Banks from some countries.

yes, I am also happy to hear if there is a service that accepts payments via crypto. If I'm not mistaken pizza companies in America accept crypto payments. but majority use via BTC & ETH. I have never heard of accepting other crypto uses, if anyone knows, maybe you can enter the information here.

None of the major Pizza chains have officially started accepting cryptocurrency as a payment. But some of the franchises have started accepting it in the United States and Canada. And apart from BTC and ETH, other popular options are BCH, LTC and USDT. The latter group is getting more popular now, as the transaction fee has increased for both Bitcoin and Ethereum.

It should be an old data but how much total merchants that accept crypto as payment has already changed. I rarely to see that people are using crypto like BCH or even litecoin to buy on the merchant. I have ever seen people use dash to buy the product from the merchants but it has already a long time ago.
I believe if there is a lot of differences on the how much merchants that is still accepting crypto as payment.
Well that depends in which country and the availabilities of crypto in certain places,Like us with my crypto friends and workmates that has a Bitcoin in our wallets but have no place to purchase using our funds.

Though it is not that Wide the market that accepts Crrypto as payment at least we knew that if given a chance there are lots of people wanted this to be available in their respective location and this is the big thing here.

And also a little start will Light the Fire We can help the spread if will contribute a small effort and time ,at least in our business offer accepting crypto or encourage our friends that has business or even normal  employee represent what crypto is.

Maybe we may add to the adoption that we are waiting for.

The trend is to improve more and more with the advancement of technology and with the advancement of the dissemination of crypto to the world, improving the payment ecosystem. So we must be aware that in the coming years we will encounter payments of quantum speed. To conclude, perhaps we will find decentralization, which is the purpose of crypto fully accepted by the mass and institutions in the near future.

i still think that BTC and ETH are the most useful for paying crypto - they have enough liquidity, and well-developed psp infrastructure. but for investment i think the best - defi projects for now
The risk factor for investing in Defi is really high, yes there were projects that helped the investors in making a ton of profit but the amount of scams that are appearing is increasing by day and we have already witnessed many scams in the market in this name and now all the projects are adding Defi to their name as it is the trend now. So anyone willing to invest should understand the risk involved as well.

Compared to old days, crypto is now really made more accessible than ever because people are now recognising its worth and importance as well as its usage so people are making use of the advantage of having crypto to be made certainly as payment options. On the part of the merchants, since they are seeing people are gaining interest of using crypto, they are also making certain adjustments of allowing or accepting crypto payments for the goods and services being purchased by their customers to get along of what their consumer needs and wants. Certainly with the increase of demand in using crypto, the accessibility is now being made easier for the part of normal people and companies as well as businesses are taking into adjustments to fulfill the need of both parties taking it as an opportunity to accept and use crypto more evenly compared from before.

Useful isn't the right word, mate. Any cryptos were here for something( not you shitcoins). You would probably say "preferred" for paying because aside from popularity, you could also consider the scalability from the supply though network problem comes at place in here.

I am not really a big fan of these Bitcoin credit cards that have been getting so much hype lately. I think it is better for people to use Bitcoin directly for payments instead of using fiat intermediaries. We should be celebrating the few places that have embraced bitcoin for payments so that more companies will be encouraged to also accept it.

Paying with cryptocurrency has turned to be easier than the past. Particularly the increase can be felt upon the online services in large scale than the offline stores. Limited locations around the globe provides better access for bitcoin on offline stores. In particular this is found high in USA and on countries where the usage is legalized. Maybe within the falling few years time we can expect atleast another 50% growth from the present margin of acceptance.

Right now easier to find merchants that accept cryptocurrency payments. Because cryptocurrencies continue  to grow
every year and are increasingly popular, unfortunately my country doesn't allow using crypto as a means of payment.
So for the time being I use cryptocurrency as a digital asset. And if I want to spend the cryptocurrency that I have, I will
cashout first to become fiat.

It means that more people open their eyes about it and adopting it. The progress of cryptocurrency until today is really great but what I like these days are those crypto cards, there are few altcoins that partners with VISA and provides a convenient service like paying crypto in different merchant because Visa is more available currently in the establishment and businesses right now. I think VISA and cryptocurrency are not an enemy they are good partners but I find them often being compared to each other.
Indeed, as big paying companies are now also adopting the use of bitcoin, there will be a big impact on the spread of knowledge about the cryptocurrency itself. They are now also adopting the use of bitcoin but not only that because they are not curious what bitcoin is and that makes them explore or study what crypto is. We all know that bitcoin is not only for paying method but also a good opportunity for investments. Paying with crypto is indeed more accessible and convenient.

No inclusion of Monero?  Huh
Though, all the coins you listed widely used for transaction. Making it easier for merchants but I feel Monero should be included. The coins has lost of transaction especially in the dark web. Many people may frown at this considering the fact that it is used by criminals. But lots of legit people still use cause it anonymous transactions is assured.

I think that still you are able to pay only with BTC or LTC(ETH) on the internet, but forget about option to pay with DASH or Monero, who will accept it? Only stores that are connected to shady activities because legit stores have to prove the source of income.

The use of cryptocurrency is on the way to make it a reality for salary payment, online transactions and etc...But it comes into my mind that not only on OP's list are now being used in the market and probably there are more that is not on the list. But I understand also that in general, most of us are preferred for Bitcoin as a mode of payment rather than being paid by altcoins. ETH can be considerable because most establishments that accepting cryptos are also preferred for accepting Bitcoin and ETH.

However, the realization might not so easy, instant nor to see that everyone is prepared for it that is why it takes time to develop. So we may able to see this happening for the next years.

Mass adoption in general is increasing, every single industry has now players that are using blockchain and crypto currencies. But I believe that finance would be the one, that would finally bring crypto currencies into masses.
Indeed, this is because of our hard work as a community. As we are continuing our support to this community the widespread information about cryptocurrency is fast. We can say that maybe in the future we can use bitcoin as a worldwide currency when all of the countries already adopted bitcoin and using it in different aspects especially payment methods.

It is true there are more and more merchants starting to accept cryptocurrencies as payment methods which is great for the crypto adoption. I am sure people will soon realise that crypto has much more features than fiat.
This is one of the good news that as time passes by, bitcoin is becoming more famous and as of now many countries are adopting bitcoin, some companies are accepting bitcoin as a payment and also there are lots of businessmen who already entered business involving bitcoin. There are lots of investors that are being courage to invest their money on projects. We all know that the more investors that project has, the higher the probability that it will succeed.

On 22 May 2010, Laszlo Hanyecs made the first ever real world transaction with Bitcoin, buying two pizzas in Jacksonville, Florida for 10,000 BTC. Today, 10,000 BTC is worth $72,180,800 - now that’s some pricey pizza. Since then, the cryptocurrency community has grown in leaps and bounds and paying with crypto is more accessible than ever.

We’ll be taking a look at how many merchants accept cryptocurrency payments, including how to pay using Bitcoin, how to pay with Litecoin, how to pay with Ethereum, Dash and Bitcoin Cash. It’s time to get those Bitcoin payments rolling.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j28hkTJMuTA

Top cryptocurrencies accepted by merchants worldwide

5. Dash (DASH)
Coming in at number 5, Dash makes it onto the list of the top cryptocurrencies accepted worldwide. Dash, originally known as Darkcoin and XCoin, is a privacy coin that keeps things totally private for its users. Evan Duffield, the creator of Dash, decided to found his own coin after seeing the shortfalls created by Bitcoin and Litecoin. Dash is a hard fork of Litecoin (LTC), and has faster transaction feeds and more privacy than LTC. You can pay with Dash at 124 verified companies. The actual number is probably a lot higher, but for the sake of this article we’ll just be looking at verified merchants.

4. Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is a fork of Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash was founded on 1 August 2017, as a response to rising Bitcoin network fees. Since its inception, Bitcoin had maintained a common set of rules for the coin, however certain community members were unhappy with how the blockchain was developing, and they decided to split, resulting in Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin Cash is currently the 5th largest cryptocurrency by market cap, and is available to trade on most trading platforms, like eToro, and exchanges. You can pay with Bitcoin Cash at 199 verified merchants.

3. Litecoin (LTC)
Litecoin was launched in 2011, as a fork of Bitcoin. Charlie Lee, the creator of Litecoin (LTC), aimed to combat some of the shortcomings facing Bitcoin, including faster transaction speeds and block propagation (one block in 2.5 minutes instead of 10 minutes as on the Bitcoin blockchain), and a larger total supply (84 million LTC to 21 million  BTC). What to know how to pay with Litecoin? It’s easily available, with 205 verified merchants accepting LTC as a form of payment.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bj-CVgnkFZM

2. Ethereum (ETH)
It probably comes as no surprise that Ethereum sits at the second position on this list. Ethereum is the second largest coin by market cap, sitting only behind Bitcoin. Founded in 2015, Ethereum brought smart contracts to the cryptocurrency space. Since then, Ethereum has gone on to become one of the most successful coins on the market. With the Ethereum 2.0 upgrade coming up sometime in 2020, Ethereum will be faster, more secure and more scalable, making it even more ideal for transactions. You can pay with ETH at 272 verified merchants.

1. Bitcoin
Obviously Bitcoin sits at number one on this list. Bitcoin is arguably the most mainstream of all of these coins, and sits with the largest market cap by far. Paying with crypto is more accessible than ever, by and large because of the existence of Bitcoin. Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency, and remains the most popular one. Websites like Wikipedia, Microsoft, Overstock, and Shopify are amongst those companies and retailers that accept Bitcoin payments. Bitcoin is considered legal in the USA, Malta, Nigeria, Japan, and dozens of other countries around the world. As of now, you can pay with Bitcoin directly at 453 verified merchants. However, there are also crypto cards like BitPay, Bitcoin payments are super simple.

https://twitter.com/jack/status/1092914316729147392

Want to get your hands on some BTC? You can buy directly from eToro, or trade the cryptocurrency - and all the others on the list - and make some money by accurately predicting the market movements. That’s right, you can make money even if the cryptocurrency’s value is down. Get those Bitcoin payments rolling.

Accessibility
As mainstream acceptance of cryptocurrency grows, so will the number of merchants accepting crypto payments. Already, paying with crypto is more accessible than ever and that’s unlikely to stop any time soon. As we move forward, more and more countries will likely begin to see the promise of cryptocurrency and how the technology can help us transition into a digital world. This industry is on the up, more and more merchants accept cryptocurrency payments than ever before, and it’s pretty clear that the bitcoin payments and cryptocurrency payments market will continue to grow.

https://forums.nakamotonews.network/t/paying-with-crypto-is-more-accessible-than-ever/1913

It will be just easy to learn and understand how to use those cryptocurrencies you have mentioned as a payment option the problem is that the merchants accepting payment in terms of cryptocurrency is just limited due to the fact that adapting the usage of cryptocurrencies is still the biggest challenge our world is facing about to further widen the usage of cryptocurrencies effectively in which every individual can do have an access on it. Using cryptocurrency as a payment option will be just easy to be done because you are just flawlessly using a cashless option like using a debit card or bank account link into a mobile application provided by the bank in which your account was created. Paying with cryptocurrency will be accessible than ever if and only if the world will adapt on using cryptocurrency in which number of merchants that accepts cryptocurrency payment will not be limited instead there will be lots so that every country can effectively use it like an ordinary payment option in a cashless transaction.

Well, it is already expected that time will soon to come that merchants will adapt into using and accepting cryptocurrency for payment purposes due to the fact that it is more convenient to be used compared to fiat currency. Now that cryptocurrency have already been popular to the crowd, surely merchants will totally adapt on making payments through cryptocurrency as an option on paying merchandise purchased by people who prefer to use crypto rather than fiat. It is a way to follow the public demand so they can keep up on the rising popularity of cryptos. Specially now that the modern technology keeps on rising, cryptocurrency will now be more accessible to the public, making merchants to adapt into change that is primarily inevitable. More hopes are soon to come this year 2020 which we all wish and expect.

It is obvious to me that 2020 will be the year of efficient crypto payments especially crypto banking, crypto remittance and similar services will boom, in short this year will be the year of the boom of Defi.

I agree to that, also many of other country restricted it but their people want crypto and use crypto to their country. but this 2020 will adapt it immediately? I am not sure that 2 to 4 months is enough to make many crypto banks or remittance or it will take 5 or more, what do you think? or it is more like showing to everyone the beauty of crypto so they can understand it better? I think it is.

Yeah, bitcoin as the first pick as always.
I have never tried any crypto yet rather than any of what you have said in your list.

Although, I am using some of it just for a cheaper transaction but with gambling I would always prefer bitcoin as the method to deposit some funds.
I guess the problem also is the option.
Most merchants just input bitcoin as the accepted crypto currency.

Want to learn about other cryptocurrencies? Or better yet, learn to trade them? eToro is a great place to start as it offers interested parties a platform to learn the ropes. It also offers a CopyTrader feature which allows traders to follow the trades of successful investors and learn from their successes. There is so much more out there than just Bitcoin, but knowing which cryptocurrencies can be tricky. https://www.etoro.com/discover/markets/cryptocurrencies

As of now, you can pay with Bitcoin directly at 453 verified merchants. However, there are also crypto cards like BitPay, Bitcoin payments are super simple.

453 merchants is old data. coinmap tells about 15857 businesses. And even that is almost nothing. The world is big. Very big.
When the list will contain all the chains like Auchan, Kaufland, Lidl, Carrefour, McDonald's, KFC (all around the world), booking.com, ... , when most payment processors will also accept Bitcoin.. then we can say Bitcoin is easy to spend. It will happen in the future, but let's not fool ourselves.

BitPay is not the best example for Bitcoin, lately it is oriented towards BCash and has bigger fees for Bitcoin (!).
However, the crypto cards are, in many people's opinion, not really Bitcoin spending. Hefty fees, KYC, the need to keep bitcoin in custodian wallet, the need to keep fiat on most of those cards make them not much loved.
It is pretty easy to use them indeed, but it involves more steps than "super simple".

So we are on the right track, but we should not be too happy too soon, there's still much to work to get to the point Bitcoin is easy to spend. We aim to get close to fiat/cards easiness after all, don't we?

Great points and well noted. You are absolutely correct, however there is no harm in celebrating the small victories. Merchants accepting crypto is undeniably on the rise, and while it may take some time to reach the fiat/cards easiness, we've taken great strides already.

I think when options such as Bitcoin, ethereum, litcoin, bch and dash are presented as options of pagme t by merchants, people fondly go for Bitcoin and ethereum majorly because of its availability and ease of use. This can be witnessed with seoclerk.com. But more informed users or users with needs tailored to privacy will prefer dash and monero anyway

in my country I already received bitcoin payments but as far as I know there is still one province and the bitcoin office ethereum has also branched out to this capital city proving cryptocurrency payments are applied
Haven't experienced paying yet thru ETH unless its a personal transfer. In my merchants I only paid with Bitcoin as long as it supports the wallet application that im  using that is able to do bills payment. There is no known outlets yet that accept crypto in my area, it will be good if they will also plan to start this year.
Specifically in my case, I sometimes use Ethereum for sports betting.Recently, such services are widely implemented method of payment with cryptocurrency.I am sure that as demand increases, cryptocurrencies will be used for payment in many services. But so far, in fact, there are few such services.

Nobody's online mode of payment has been increased in high rate than Fiat currency direct usage. So I wish to tell everyone should accept the crypto payment and merchant should get also show some lateral profit on allowing crypto mode of payment. If such things happen paying with cryptocurrency is more accessible than anything.

Actually there are some solution about it.
Zeux: You can hold both your crypto and banking account both. You can also get interest as a BTC, ETH or USDT with different rate.
Kudi: It is working as a merchant payment gateaway. You can hold crypto or you can get payment with it. (It is product of Ferrum Network.)

Both of these project is limited in a country. Zeux fully operational on England and Kudi is in Africa. They may expand their operation globally in the future. But both are already working properly.

I bet many people don't know all this, some still ask silly questions where merchants are accepting crypto as means of payment, thanks for this good information, in few more years every single souls in this world will use crypto

Because people can't read or seem to use google to do their own research and rely on others asking silly things. There are so many places that accept crypto you will be amazed. You just have to look. Sometimes you have to add the items to your shopping basket before seeing if they accept crypto or not. I just can't wait to start seeing the physical stores take payment instore with crypto. Then we have made it and we can properly enjoy it. It would help so much when others instore ask what we are doing and we explain crypto to them and win them over.

Changing the game
I totally agree with what you said. basically using crypto as a real payment tool is a very fun and safe thing in my opinion, how about crypto we don't need to repit the hassle of carrying cash which can cause various kinds of impacts such as theft, robbery etc. But with crypto we can feel safe because the key is in our brain in the form of a password, with crypto we can get all access rights in full. In fact, since I use and own crypto, especially in my area, there are also many private crypto providers and sellers (non-exchangers) and it's fun, we can buy everything we need, especially things related to the internet.
BTC, ETH are the first choice for transactions, and of course the whole world has recognized it.
It seems fun to use crypto as a payment tool besides being safe and comfortable to use without worry.
but the sad thing for me is that in the country where I live I have not found a shop or anything that uses crypto as a payment transaction.

if the physical store in my place is also not available where we can buy coca cola or food using crypto, it is not yet available, but for me to buy some cellphone credit, exchange crypto for real money is available. And there are a number of tourist attractions in my place that have received crystal clear payment payments, where we can pay for hotel and food rental using BTC. And of course it was an amazing experience.

I don't know what the "verified merchant" means and how you verify any of the merchants or where did you find that data but I am pretty sure there there are more places that accept bitcoin in just my country than 453 so I am pretty sure this is not really a full on idea but more like a guess. It could very well mean that there are more "verified merchants" this year than ever before and nothing else. However I too agree that bitcoin payments are definitely on the rise including all other altcoins as well but what do we consider a payment? What do we pay? BNB is the most used altcoin for payments if you look at trading fee as a payment for example, probably used even more than bitcoin, so is that a payment? Is it just shopping?

In any case every single year it will be more and more places we can spend crypto to pay for stuff but I still feel like its not enough just yet.

Paying with crypto is accessible since it can be done quickly. It can be done in a tap and can be sent anywhere. You can pay for your bills without leaving your house. When you are busy and has no one to pay for your bills or need to buy something fast or last minute, it can be done.

Acceptance of cryptocurrency as payment mode has declined of recent due to the market situation. But I have some local merchants in my area who accepts Bitcoin for goods.
Agree with you on this matter. In the second half of 2019, most stores and companies on the internet have restricted the acceptance of payments in cryptocurrency because the market is constantly going down. And it makes the revenue of the company or store at a loss if continued to use this payment method. It is difficult for cryptocurrencies to be widely used and popular if the price fluctuates so much as it is today. We need a more stable market for more companies to accept bitcoin and cryptocurrency

Of course, this world is a really big place and there is no way you can get the exact number of merchants that are accepting cryptocurrencies, so you should only say what you’re sure of to avoid misleading people.

Assuming I was the one asked to mention where cryptocurrency is accepted I can’t even mention anything apart from Overstock, and that’s because it’s the only one I know. Then I am also aware that I can buy gift cards from Bitpay and I have been doing that for a few years now.

I have seen many business in my country specially focused on foreigners have a bitcoin accepted here sign. Bitcoin payment through QR code is accepted in most of restaurants, jeweler shops, souvenir shops and hotels. Litecoin seems to be the second most popular here. Bitcoincash payments are much popular in China.

It is seriously disappointment why the micropayments are apid with the mentioned cryptocurrencies. The merchants should be able to claim the payment without waiting for the confirmation, in this comparison XRP has the highest rate of Transaction per second.

transaction speed is important too, because if the transaction speed is slow then people will also rethink using it. in this case maybe we can use crypto that has a good speed in the transaction, and also in the fee can also affect the user
I think this is one of the main features that are important. transaction price and speed. it is very very important. we want cryptocurrencies to be used by anyone and anywhere. With a high commission, many people simply can not pay this commission. if the transaction speed is low, then many places that will accept cryptocurrency simply will not wait

Although crypto usage and mass adoption is growing steadily and slowly everyday but in countries like where i live they are officially banned that means they are being traded only in the background and unless govt declares them legal to buy and sell i think the pace will remain slow.

I think it's better to start writing your politician to start conducting research and pass legislation on crypto so that more adoption and merchant will utilize this innovative cryptocurrency. Paying in crypto is very convenient, I do prefer paying it to my friends and online transactions.

Don't Get Involved
Most people still use Bitcoin as a payment, even though other coins do. Depending on the store concerned.

In my high place, there is only one that accepts payments using crypto. That is the place of coffee, I once tried to make payments using bitcoin. As if the world is easier to use Bitcoin as payment.

I appreciate your article. but there are some other thoughts that will be directly related.

at certain points, it still has to be adapted to the national system or it will get some legal problems. For example, the crypto payment clause that will be regulated by China this year. those who are accustomed to using, or crypto payment service providers, will be led to migrate using legally provided coins, they must release other crypto payment option attributes in accordance with applicable regulations.
in fact what is difficult in the crypto transaction process is the existing regulations in the country. I personally am one of the traders who sell daily necessities, I want to implement a transaction with crypto but I am still afraid of the existing law and I also do not want to do that because it violates the laws in my area.

We can say that merchants accepting crypto payments are definitely increasing since bitcoin is getting more attention but it's still not enough. It's indeed increasing but only in specific country and places. Here in my country, I still haven't encountered any merchant accepting crypto. Maybe there is but I haven't seen one yet.
In other countries it's not that accessible because either governments and lack of knowledge are the major factors affecting it.

I bet many people don't know all this, some still ask silly questions where merchants are accepting crypto as means of payment, thanks for this good information, in few more years every single souls in this world will use crypto

The problem here is that those asking never felt searching the Google for this information. If they had simply entered the keyword who who accepts Bitcoin or who accepts Ethereum they would have found lot of websites listing the name of stores and online retailers acceptin bitcoin.

I have added the link of one of those website under who accepts Bitcoin keyword.

In some countries maybe, but in the rest of the world i think its not even close to reality, only the key cities has the capability to accept cryptocurrency as payments, still fiat is the most accessible the dominant currency where ever you are, but in fairness to cryptocurrency, i think its slowly moving forward and continue to find more innovative ways to spend cryptocurrency in real time without hassle. for me cryptocurrency still needs a lot of time to break the barrier and spend cryptocurrency in the form of simplicity just like the traditional fiat money and i hope that day will come sooner that we expected.
Some are still not knowledgeable that crypto exists. There were times I tried to send money from to other countries and I really intend to explain and send my money thru crypto other than bank and remittances, sometime they just need to be teach as there are really available now almost everywhere.

That's so rampant these days, many of these people didn't really acquire the knowledge on cryptocurrency's usefulness on basic money spending. I guess sending money internationally was a basic services which every person used worldwide. Transferring money internationally provided a very comfortable ways in order to receive money without any hassle, and the safest and fastest ways in of getting your money through online was cryptocurrency transfer. Without any knowledge of that, of course it would be a huge problems as one mentioned here.

In my merchants I only paid with Bitcoin as long as it supports the wallet application that im  using that is able to do bills payment. There is no known outlets yet that accept crypto in my area, it will be good if they will also plan to start this year.

Interesting article. It only shows that crypto is becoming mainstream. I have seen one or two electronics machines in our country that already accepts transactions using BTC but I never knew that many altcoins are also accepted. The development of Blockchain and crypto is indeed running at a fast pace and many are supporting it.

I think the main problem is that. Maybe for digital product, a lot of people can access and buy it if they need. But for physical thing, not all country have shop that accept bitcoin, and people maybe think twice to buy something from other country because of cost of shipping or maybe tax in each country that maybe make we must pay more for it.

True, I also don't know about this, so this information is very useful for me personally and for them in general, because in the future there will be more people who want to use crypto in various ways.

Of course they will do that easily and like shopping at an online store will also use a payment system that uses stable crypto and that will be a reference for them because they immediately want to be simple in making transactions and using crypto.

Bitcoin cash? is that a joke? If merchants want their customers to pay for higher fees and suffer for slower confirmation, they'll choose this coin. So, it's already been said that this was an old data and I don't think there will be the same choice for most merchants for that altcoin. Bitcoin is still the best despite of other altcoins advertising that they're cheaper and faster than bitcoin, still they can't do a par with it. I think there's a new data that BNB is also one of the choices among the cryptos to be accepted by merchants.

It should be an old data but how much total merchants that accept crypto as payment has already changed. I rarely to see that people are using crypto like BCH or even litecoin to buy on the merchant. I have ever seen people use dash to buy the product from the merchants but it has already a long time ago.
I believe if there is a lot of differences on the how much merchants that is still accepting crypto as payment.
