It won't help... Read my previous reply...
His friend has created a transaction using a SPENT output. Whatever he does, the output is no longer in the UTXO set, so this transaction will never be valid. What basically happens if you try to broadcast this tx is that you try to double spend confirmed inputs... This is not possible, especially not because the tx spending the inputs already has ~40 confirmations

I understand.
My goal is to get the friend to see the correct state of the network.
And if he truly is a friend he can send the btc with a new transaction.

If that was your goal, your recommandations were correct and the OP would be wise to follow them Smiley

As long as it's clear to the OP that:
- the tx in his screenshot can be considered void, it will not be accepted by the network
- it's his friends duty to clear up his electrum history and re-create a tx with equal outputs to the OP's address. There is little or nothing the OP can do to help him.
- his friend is welcome to open a thread on this forum, and we'll try to help him to the best of our knowledge Wink

No i didn't change the screenshot , it was given to me by my freind as the wallet is mine but he sent me the payments

Please ask your friend to change the electrum server and restart the application.

What basically happens if you try to broadcast this tx is that you try to double spend confirmed inputs... This is not possible, especially not because the tx spending the inputs already has ~35,  confirmations, so even if the chain would fork, it's allmost completely impossible that the outputs will ever be added to the utxo again.

Now, OP, don't conclude that this is a scam attempt, it could have happened by accident, but long story short, the tx you have in a screenshot has a ~0% chance of ever becoming valid.

any chance that money will return to sender ??

The bitcoins in a transaction that was never confirmed will get eventually back to the originating input addresses.

But somehow I feel there is more to this story.

Unconfirmed transaction should still show up in the block explorer and because your transaction does not I can think of the following:
- you changed the screenshot because you do not want us to know the details
(fair enough but we can't help you much in this case)
- the transaction was never broadcastet to the bitcoin mainnet
(did you try to connect to another electrum node as written earlier?)

(did you try to connect to another electrum node as written earlier?)

I'm thinking more in the lines of an invalid tx, that uses an output that are no longer in the utxo set:
The tx from the screenshot is using the output from tx 4db... to address 1Fp3v6k5jCm3r1pNsetVQkLsVx9D4pkdbu as an input

https://blockchain.info/address/1Fp3v6k5jCm3r1pNsetVQkLsVx9D4pkdbu

As you can see on blockchain.info, this output was already used as an input to create transaction 75d34f320f04cefbe4f5ae12b5c63000d44a22f777fc98514bd645f6638f1ac6 (this tx was confirmed, hence the output must have been removed from the utxo set)

In other words, this address has no unspent outputs to use, hence transaction 298613243fe9f1f98e3c08ad8aa4a1b8b46ae43d1aa71f72069b6d2534466fda  could never be valid.
This means that, eventough the tx might have been created and signed, it would have been rejected when the OP tried to broadcast it.

OP, might i suggest to:
- use the latest electrum version
- restart the wallet client
- switch servers
- worst case scenario, restore your wallet from seed.

The transaction won't magically appear, but i hope your history will be cleaned up, and you'll have a clearer overview as to why this transaction can not work

See if this solves the confusion Smiley

I sent 3 payment to same address but i m seeing expected confirmation time unknown

this payment were sent to localbitcoins since 5 hour but not yet credited can someone tell me whats going on
Here I will suggest you to put your transaction ID or put here your address at which you made withdraw . Because no one can help you here without any reference of base of your problem .
Here I will suggest to contact LBC , since there support is more responsive , so I hope you will get solution of your problem .

Another thing here I need to think to tell that currently the confirmation problem is arising in the Bitcoin more , so probably this may be the problem of unconfirmation .
I my self made transaction ( with 146sat/byte )about in the morning but it get confirmation just now ( only one confirmation ) , which take about 7 hours .
So just wait Sad

have u chk the screenshot which i uploaded ?
sorry friend I just seen at this thread blindly at the top and the bottom to clearify wether your problem solved or not .
Here I  had seen the screen but which is not much useful to analyze your problem . But here I am sure this problem is only due to the low transaction fee .
So here I will again say to just wait . Because in the screen shot it is mentioned that the fee paid is Very low .
So usually it will take might week also ( that was happened with one of my friend )

A screenshot is not very helpfull because we need to type or OCR the TX in order to check it.
It would have been much easier if you just copied it for us.

I did the OCR:
https://tradeblock.com/bitcoin/tx/298613243fe9f1f98e3c08ad8aa4a1b8b46ae43d1aa71f72069b6d2534466fda

But as already written this transaction does not exist on the network.
Did you get the screenshot from someone else to proof to you that the BTCs have been sent?

If it is not shown it has not been transmitted.
Try to change the electrum server you are connected to and restart electrum.
Did this change the status?

but why payment has been deducted from wallet ?

Unfortunately the blocks are always full and thus payments with higher fees get prioritized.
Here you can see an approximation about how long it can take depending on the fee you chose:
https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

I tried to find your transaction but couldn't.
Are you sure that it was broadcasted?

What transactions? There are literally tens of thousands of unconfirmed transactions.
