I had a similar problem: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/i-hate-paypal-60534
The issue with mine is that they suspended my account, and they're completely ignoring my emails.
I've had no mention of bitcoin, and I'm hoping nobody opened a dispute with me and said about bitcoin.
I've been suspended for nearly 3 months now, they still refuse to let me know why, and are convincing me that "This limitation can not be appealed"
Great thing about that is that I lost my steam account, and just to be nice I paid anyone who I bought BTC off, back in BTC, while paypal now has around $100 of my money locked away...

Funny story.  My business is located on a street called "Post Office Street".  I tried putting this information in to Paypal to confirm my address and they said "denied, P.O. Boxes are not allowed."

So I called up their customer service (which I think are great they actually answer calls).  The customer service guy even thought it was strange that I could not put in that street name.  He also could not override the system.

I am pretty schizoid and try to be invisible as much as possible.  So I just went with AlertPay.  Their terms of service are not as annoying as Paypal.  Unfortunately, they also don't allow many e-currency purchases.

Paypal is the devil.

Your four word post inspires a parody on 'Don't Pay the Ferryman', cleverly entitled 'PayPal The Ferryman'. Original here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kNwvIEQsg0

A little backstory first, I've been trying to confirm my home address on my verified PayPal account. I added my debit card, entered my address as it's written on my bank account, and tried to verify it. It failed verification 3 times, idk why. I decided to contact customer support to explain the issue and hopefully resolve it so I could use my PayPal account, which has been verified for a few years now, as a purchasing option for certain sites. Here's what the representative told me-

"As you have mentioned, you would like to confirm your home address
listed on file. Looking through your PayPal account, I saw that you have
successfully added your card that ends with xx97 on October 4, 2011
however, your address is unconfirmed.

From further checking, at the time you were trying to add the card, I
found out that it failed the Address Verification System (AVS) 3 times
due to this we will not be able to confirm your address anymore. I
recommend you to add a different card that matches your billing address
to have a confirmed address on your PayPal account."

One major problem with their response, I only have 1 card that is linked to my home address. I became pretty aggravated and responded with this-

"I don't have another card, that IS my card which is tied to MY HOME ADDRESS. You're system is obviously flawed. I've been a verified member of PayPal for years now and have never once opened a dispute or requested a charge back and this is how you treat a valuable customer? No wonder why people, myself included, want Bitcoin to succeed!"

See what I did there? lol

When I woke up this morning I received an email which read-

"We need your help resolving an issue with your account. To give us time to
work together on this, we've temporarily limited what you can do with your
account until the issue is resolved.

We understand it may be frustrating not to have full access to your PayPal
account. We want to work with you to get your account back to normal as
quickly as possible.

What's the problem?

We want to check with you to make sure that no one has logged in to your
account without your permission.

Please take a moment to change your password and create new security
questions. You should also take a look at your account information and
recent transactions. Make sure that your account information (address,
phone number, etc.) hasn't changed and that you recognize all of your
recent transactions.

If you see a payment that you don't recognize, let us know by going to the
Resolution Center.  Click "Dispute a Transaction" to report an unauthorized
transaction."

Funny part is I've never had a dispute, chargeback, or anything of the sort.

Long story short, PayPal really doesn't like the mention of Bitcoin and took it out on me.
