Paypal, FTX???, how so mate?

Anyway, Paypal have always been like this and some people appreciate these security checks they do as they safe guard their clients funds.

Btw not to sound like am picking sides here, but don't you think if this card were ever used by you, then you should have some kind of record for it somewhere, which should help getting to restore your account access... Otherwise from the look of things this is your best option or get in touch with support at a later date.

Well there is no way that PayPal and FTX are similar, though PayPal has over the years increased their KYC and verification process for each transaction and accounts, but as long as you are using the right info and providing them with what they need, PayPal is all good and see how many active users they have without any issues.

they have issues more than 21k negative reviews.

I think Paypal and FTX are not related in any way, as they are completely  two senate and distinct organizations. It seems like you are having trouble  to withdraw your own money and dissatisfied with verification process. I would suggest you to raise an official  complainant to paypal and if they are unable to assist you to resolve  this issue, then you have the right to seek assistance from a consumer protection agency to help resolve the issue with withdrawing your funds.

You will only find the fault and bugs when you're account is restricted, I have friends whose account was locked after 5 years of using Paypal, and when he cannot get his account unlocked he blame Paypal for being unfair, so it's better to address the issue properly and give them what they asked for, in your case it is your card that you can't remember, why not ask your bank about it, I'm sure they have it in their database, exhaust all means before accusing Paypal.

now i try to log in they ask

email verficiation i have

card i dont have

they ask me my full card numbers which is old 6 months ago i dont have it.
this not make sense to me.
only when i request bank transfer they started to ask weird things in order not to pay.

I call the scammers and they told me you can provide last 4 digits bank account instead.
i provided it and they fully verified.

after he told me to wait few minutes to approve it and remove your 4 digits card verifcation.

after few minutes waiting he told me that i must provide full card verfication if not i cannot withdraw my money.

fucking scammers. i told them i can provide you video, selfie, passport etc proving its me and they dont hear ya.

they scam exactly like ftx millions of paypals accounts without reasons and use the money for real estate.

i tell you this company is shit. they worse than this guy ffrom ftx.

The people who earn 99%. from people are hire developers to create bugs such as you cannot be verified AND TAKE YOUR MONEY AND AFTER 6 MONTHS YOU WILL LOSE IT .
When they supposed to allow your witdhraw after 6 months.

Yea, that's a little bit too much tinfoil hat-ish. There are no hiring of developers to create bugs, it's just PayPal themselves that are making the decision to not return the funds.

not  tinfoil hat-ish this the true. i managed to log in now  after messing things up and provided both my old card numbers.

and try to withdraw and they ask me to provide passport and proof of adress (credit  transactions with the adress)

lucikly i have both. i try to send it in reply to them and ´´suddenly cant send message now. try again later. ´´
they create  new bug that i can reply to their messages.
because everything they tried until now failed.

One problem people have with Paypal is their strict rules. It would have been better to compare PayPal to a crypto gambling site than FTX exchange. FTX doesn't lock people's account for six months and ask for their card details. They were just unfortunate, things went wrong. However, Paypal is guilty of what you claim they're. I've seen multiple complaints about PayPal ever since Elon Musk was in that company, and I think he made his fortunes from seizing tens of thousands from people's account for boycotting some rules. One bit, never in my journey of online trading did I like PayPal. Thanks to bitcoin I would have been uncomfortable buying and selling with PayPal. Hence, a major part of the reason why PayPal locks people's account has to do with the kind of transactions going on in the account. Keep trying, OP, you could get lucky!

its ovbius that paypal use the money of millions of locked accounts. they create bugs, long proccess to get the funds to a point is nearly impossible.
this  how they similar to ftx owner all the locked money are used probably for investment etc.

OP, is there no way you could retrieve your card details? Is it that hard to communicate with the issuer and ask for those?
There should be a way to do that if he got it from a bank all he needs to do is to ask the bank about the card details even if it is lost the bank will grant his request because he has the right to that information or have you not linked that card to any online platform so you can easily retrieve it, I understand OP's sentiment as I faced a similar issue about my account getting locked with funds on it, they can only grant your request if you cooperate based on what they asked for, even if you verified your account.

If the OP card is not from a known source or bank, and if it is a Generated Credit card, then I regret to say that it is considered his fault and not PayPal’s fault. I am not a supporter of PayPal because of its arbitrary conditions and because of its excessive security methods that make it difficult for any customer to access his account. The best online payments companies are Pioneer, Skrill, and Regpack I use them smoothly and I have not had any problems since years of using them, unlike Paypal.

Paypal has customer service, and he can try to ask them for a verification method other than this, but I think that without knowing his card details, I will see that he lost the account completely, but he can try his luck.

while FTX is got hacked and they're don't have any funds to recover their losses.

As far as I remember FTX was not hacked. Can you please provide some reference? It was bankrupted because they provided VIP future trading accounts to their partners and companies with no liquidation price. If users keep getting liquidated then exchanges never go bankrupt. Also FTX bankruptcy was done due to their over collateral in their own token FTT.

FTX was indeed hacked but it wasn't the reason why it went bankrupt. It went bankrupt because Sam Bankman-Fried stole the money. The mysterious hack took place after it filed for bankruptcy. So it is unfair and extremely absurd to seem to excuse FTX from its collapse because it got hacked. In the first place, it got bankrupt because of sheer incompetence and irresponsibility.

OP, is there no way you could retrieve your card details? Is it that hard to communicate with the issuer and ask for those?

I'm not sure as it will totally depend on how your case will progress, but for now it just seems like very bad customer support. I'll bet there's still a huge chance that you'll gain back access to your funds.

But on the other hand, checkout the PayPal subreddit. Lots of cases of PayPal locking up user's funds for months and months and end up keeping the money anyway.

I see like millions of cases in reddit people say paypal  is scam if you run a search.

How come you lost access to your 6 month old credit card? You can request to issue another replacement to your bank instead of attacking Paypal itself since it's their job to secure the user funds that are linked to the credit card since it's their requirement to have a Paypal account. I remember my verification too which requires me to have a bank account to prove ownership of my money. They are not scams but too centralized actually Paypal has excellent support since they usually call me if I do something on my account. You can easily get your old credit card info if you will pay a visit to your bank office branch.

I find the card  eventually and still cannot be verified.  They asked me to verify card end with 2261
that i recently got from my paypal account and i did look on my bank and provided them.

still saying no verified. they create bugs from the buttom of the company so you cant be verified and they keep hold your money.

card i dont have
they ask me my full card numbers which is old 6 months ago i dont have it.
i provided them with card now i found it.

The ban happened six months ago, all this time till today at 08:51:20 AM you didn't have the card but you found it at 09:37:56 AM?
Anyhow, looking at the other site you're promoting with that scammy EMDR pseudoscience, I have a feeling you have been selling some other things that were against PayPal policies.

EMDR is based on science you goof trop.  and  Inever ask payment on the site for the emdr service. (which are totally legit to ask anyway by the way)
EMDR is approved by the the World Health Organisation

I am a Paypal user and have had no bad incidents and so far, I have been fine using Paypal.

Paypal asks its users to do KYC by sending the documents. And to connect a credit or debit card, you can use VCC, which you can buy cheaply. That's what I did because I didn't want to connect my debit card to Paypal and I didn't have a credit card either.

After that, you just have to wait for verification from them and if everything is done, your account will change to be verified. So if you say that Paypal is a scammer, maybe you have something to hide that Paypal needs to check your account before allowing you to use it.

You are one of the 0.01% fdont feel like it safe forever tho. check their trustpilot 24k review that they are scam.

hold on!  I want to ask if your PayPal account is a personal account or a business account because I am also a PayPal user (currently I am using a business account). I also once had a personal Paypal account that got banned because I had a lot of transactions there (transactions from my merchandise online sales), Paypal said that if a personal account is not allowed to sell/buy PayPal balance then I switch to a business account. hope your problem will be solved soon.

i provided them with card now i found it.

the say cant verify sendemail. they excuse in order not to pay yo udont know them.

this scam company and they block millions of pp accs every day for 6 months with shitty excuses.

You don't have data to say that, unfortunately, Paypal cannot address your issue here as they do not have an announcement, you should not even post your issue here because they are not a full Cryptocurrency platform, better post your concern and issue here
https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/PayPal-Community/ct-p/en you'll get the right response here coming from users of Paypal and you can also ask their support

Quote
and all the blocked account with money (hundrends, thousands, ten of thousands etc)  are used for real esate investment.

what you think that they just keep the money on the account? never.

They create many bugs in order to keep your money on paypal even on the verfication proccess.

These are all allegations to prove it we need the fact by uploading your screenshots and pieces of evidence, you just want to get back to Paypal from limiting your account, in the first place you should have read their terms of service and other feedbacks before using Paypal because they are so strict and they ask a lot of verification before you can use their service.
When using Paypal be aware of how they work and how hey limit their users' accounts.
