Fully agree. Paypal is exactly why I'm not proposing a large amount at once. Payment in USD, not averse to sending as family so it cannot be charged back.
Not only the paypal but a lot of the other sites are using he bitcoin and they are using the bitcoin online service, the importance of the bitcoin will be more than double so get the bitcoin and try to be the bitcoin part now, the paypal is no doubt the best source of money payment but also very easy and reliable to be the bitcoin user and the value of the bitcoin will be high in very short days.

Go to https://localbitcoins.com and look for a good offer or put up your own offer. Price markups are going to be quite high, but that is to be expected because people generally don't want to trade with PayPal due to possible chargebacks. All ways keep chargebacks in mind when receiving PayPal funds.

2. You're trading paypal -> Bitcoin, not sure if you are aware of this, but, paypal is easily reversible, and ontop of that, you're a newbie. Chances that anyone wants to buy from you, unless you offer ludicrous rates/ verify your ID, are very low.
3. It would be good to state your exchange rate in the OP aswell.
