If he charged a dispute, and you had a positive paypal balance, you got owned.
If your paypal balance was 0, you will be negative, but it should be fine. I got charged back for 50 euros, and they only gave me a -50 euros balance, despite the evidence I provided to show that I sold the item, and they sent some crap letter that I ignored

The decision by paypal to fight bitcoin instead of implementing it has already been made.

So they will likely make any transaction they know is linked to bitcoin as inconvenient as possible by screwing it up on purpose. They will provide you with a shitty service on purpose and blame it on Bitcoin then!

But the better technology will likely prevail and they know that, paypal ceo invested into bitpay...

will people ever learn to avoid paypal at all costs.

Yep, PayPal sucks.

I don't mind it for buying small things like a charger for a laptop on eBay or something but other than that I avoid it.

It's either a stolen account therefore you will lose the money or it is someone who is just ringing their CC provider and disputing the payment therefore you will also lose the money.

In other words, yes you will not see that money ever again and if you spent it already you will get into minus funds on PayPal.

If someone paid me the bitcoins with PayPal gift, can he get his money back ?
I sent him the btc after the payment and everything but now he is trying to get his money back.

Is it possible that i will lose the whole amout ?

Thanks,
Jank

Pretty much the rule is that if you do not know the sender of the paypal in person you should not do it. In fact accepting paypal for BTC is the primary thing that gives stolen paypal accounts value.

Yes, he can still use chargeback to scam you and Paypal will most likely decide the dispute in his favor.
