That is a good suggestion. I do not keep money in Paypal. But I do have a direct debit set up with Paypal, it can take money from bank account at any time. I wonder if that is also vulnerable to attack.

Paypal = ebay ... ebay had a significant security breach not long ago, with the majority of its users' addresses and password hashes sniffed by hackers. So Paypal should better:
1) shut up because of no credibility

The money in the accounts is not really yours and at any moment can be taken away from you under broad reasons of suspicion. Hopefully people realize these downfalls and stop using them altogether.
