This could result in two things:

1. Paypal will become less hostile to Bitcoins.
2. Facebook will become more hostile to Bitcoins (they are already very hostile).  Grin

I thought everyone loves bitcoins, since newegg and other bigger players adopted it.

Paypal is just a subsidiary of Ebay, and the CEO of Ebay likes bitcoin.

So that's great. More and more bitcoin lovers in the senior positions of major companies

This is intriguing for sure. Facebook poaching a bit coin enthusiast could mean good things.

I wouldn't exactly call him a bitcoin enthusiast. He was just doing his job as CEO understanding modern technology related to his field.

I'm sure people at facebook are more than aware of bitcoin considering their in Silicon Valley. I wouldn't expect anything directly from facebook anytime soon though.

I guess that might be a positive move on his career moving to a senior position in an ever bigger company (and not just a branch company of a bigger one). BTC's might have made more of him if he was in the financial PayPal company though.

Perhaps we will be seeing some farmville add-ons with the option to pay in bitcoin soon.  I know my friend could use a few more virtual cows and chickens and whatnot!

I still cannot wrap my brain around the fact that people actually use money for that stuff.
