What is the rate for paypal for btc and vice versa now?

Example if i have 1000 worth of btc i want to sell, how much paypal would i get?  Would i get more than the face value of 1000?  Is it possible to get less than face value of paypal?  Or is that rare?

Bitcoin FTW!
I've always used Paxful vendors to convert my PayPal funds to BTC, and though rates aren't that great if you don't want to provide documents, they're still pretty reasonable most of the time. This link (click here) should give you all open listings for PayPal buyers on Paxful, and if you CTRL+F and enter the term "no verification" you'll be able to navigate to vendors that don't require verification. Not all listings will be available to you at first because PayPal's a high-risk reversible method of payment (part of the reason why rates are so low for PayPal) and there's significant risk for sellers because of this (thus they set minimum trade counts for buyers), but if you conduct ~25 or more trades the better trades should start to become available to you. Varies from vendor to vendor in the end though.

I Would really apriciate that
Thanks in advance

First of all, know that you are dealing with a huge risk as Paypal has shown that their policy towards bitcoin and cryptos in general is negative. They have shown the willingness to suspend and freeze accounts when affiliated with bitcoin transactions.

Once you understand the risks, there are traders on localbitcoins and paxful that are able to conduct the trade for you. From my experience, LBC and Paxful traders that sell BTC for Paypal funds without the need for verification will still give you a better rate than what Virwox offers, especially when it comes to smaller amounts since Virwox has so many fees at each step of the way.

Note though that the fees you incur will be inevitable, and expect it to in the double digits in terms of percentage. That's because of the nature of Paypal - nothing you can do about it.

I think only VirWox that I know you can buy bitcoin with PayPal but the problem the fee is high.
I'm about to suggest this because I've used it before and you are right, the problem is the fee is very much high compare to the P2P deal that you can transact with those reputable exchangers here in the forum.

but I did it once a year ago at Virwox. It was good but too bad the site removed the paypal options last January IIRC.
Oh my, so there's no more option for SLL/BTC on Virwox, I guess the best choice that OP can do is to choose from the suggestions above from reputable and established exchangers of PP to BTC in the Currency Exchange.

You can find the localbitcoins for your PayPal to bitcoin. Localbitcoins.com has got access almost around the world, there will be traders supporting PayPal transactions. Making a trade with those traders will let you get PayPal to bitcoin with ease than other available deals.

But he needs to find reputable seller first, as there are many scam attempts at localbitcoins as far as I can see. Paypal to bitcoin is something that I dont really like to do, but I did it once a year ago at Virwox. It was good but too bad the site removed the paypal options last January IIRC.

Vave.com - Crypto Casino
The best website that will good for you to test is localbitcoin.com, and I am very satisfied with them. I can find a legit seller and buyer in that site. You can also find a seller or buyer that have the same city with you so you can meet with them and you can contact them without using localbitcoin to make a transaction. I think that will help your time than searching the other website which we don't know how good their reputation.

There's no easy way to exchange or transfer your Paypal funds to bitcoin but to trade it to a trusted person. Paypal is just so easy to hack and it would be risky to entrust our funds to someone that we don't know personally. We should try to buy bitcoin using our Paypal funds if we would want to purchase bitcoin.

If you need to trade your PP to BTC then you should have more reputable account. If you try to trade it on localbitcoins then seller would probably require you to have a good amount of closed deals and even if you have it then you gona be charged some extra fee for risk.
Paypal transactions can be charged back and crypto exchangers are not willing to deal with it. Everything works the same way also with payment systems, that allow funding via bank card (like skrill, neteller etc.)

Better to do what Potato Chips and Slow death said. It's much safer for you to trade in here than go trade in a site. But since you are a newbie and you will be the one trading your Paypal to a bitcoin, I wonder if someone would trade since its a risk doing trade with Paypal to bitcoin.

Check this site for a list of platforms where you can buy: https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/ (Just fill the required fields which are your country and preferred payment method)

Alternatively, you could also find someone in here who can trade with you, just go to Currency Exchange. To be safe, make sure to only transact with trusted member(s), otherwise, use an escrow, here's a list: ⛓LIST⛓ BitcoinTalk's Escrow Providers: Ranking & Blacklist ☠ Avoid Scammers ☠
