The problem is, merchants are driving down btc price...

why would that be a problem?

Problem is there is not enough users and price is not stable. But this will get solved sooner or latter.

I don't really get what does this mean at all, as an ebay merchant im interested. Will we be able to set a "pay with BTC" button directly on our shops or or it will be done through Paypal??

I believe you will be able to go to BitPay and sign up for an account then link it to your PayPal merchant account.

And yet bitcoin price is dropping each day. Why???

Stock market is also dropping, probably due to end of QE.

I cannot imagine how btc will integrate paypal to its system, based on how it works right now

And Paypal will slowly fade away due to high competition from other payment system.

It is a bit of a dinosaur, but people are conservative and it might take years for it to fade away. In the meantime they might just become less evil.

Paypal will spin off from EBAY next year.  Paypal will add btc as one of the currency.  YEAH

Yeah, I've wondered as soon as I saw the news if this will impact Bitcoin being accepted on eBay. PayPal will, of course, still be featured there, so, my guess is that eBay could make it selectable by each individual merchant? Will merchants be able to choose to keep their earnings in bitcoins would be my next question.
