So I also have 3 different pbmining contracts.  I have repeatedly attempted contact and gotten no reply in months.  Is there anything going on as far as investment recovery?  I am contacting the RCMP Fraud Unit this week, and I need to know anything that is going on with this ongoing problem!!! My mines went from producing $50.00usd a week to producing around $0.03usd a week.  I need help!

gonna lock this, no point in discussing old scam news

Was gonna lock it but as it's been pointed out to me the website is still up and people are still being paid "fairy dust" there is still a need to converse about it so thread shall remain open for now, when it becomes completely irrelevant I shall lock the thread.

I never thought this was a scam afterall.. I bought a contract with them after cex.io become highly unprofitable due to high fees.. (i had negative income). Anyway, everything was rather OK until mid december when payments stoped. And I received the last day a payment of 0.00006684 BTC for 3 weeks of mining. It's absurd! Smiley)

As far as I'm aware, nobody's payments have "stopped" they have gone down to around 1% of expected payments but they have not stopped yet.

Let's hope they manage to pay back what they owe.

OK so I'm going to be honest, I have my eggs in one basket, the PBMining basket, I'm worried it's a sinking ship that many on here are saying has sunk already the customers just don't know it yet as they are buying time.

Can I please get an update on this? What do people know? Where is it going? Is it recoverable?

Of course I've messaged them direct but with zero success despite the fact they have been online since my emails have been sent.

I understand they will be very popular at the moment for all the wrong reasons but they need to give us something more, it's not like we can sell the gh/s like on cex.io and get the hell out, we are stuck here on this ship right in the cargo hold with all the TNT.

I emailed pb mining and got this response:

PBMining Admin

Dec 24 (5 days ago)

to me

pb mining is currently a failing business and a recovery is trying to be made. if you feel you have suffered a loss i am sincerely sorry, our losses are very large as well. there are thousands of customers affected by this.  other options are also being looked at for sources of recovery.

Maybe because it's not until the one who claims it is brings evidence...

Yet again another week passes and another bunch of 1% payouts which is scandalous, and once again PBMining have paid themselves £ 259.84 (1.28140148 BTC) of the total transactions £ 652.17 (3.21612684 BTC)

Again, I have changed the value to GBP as it's easier to spot the transaction mid-way down the block.

Look at the blockchain, half way down you will see a payment of £380.85 (1.8198228 BTC)

Payment from 1PBMqRZMnx2xL7zoqh2kFuAqdr4L3W1tjr going to 1PBMqRZMnx2xL7zoqh2kFuAqdr4L3W1tjr

WTF we know this is a pb address?Huh

A group of people claiming a company is a ponzi isn't by any means a proof.

A group of people claiming that pink unicorns dont exist isn't by any means a proof.
In fact you can not possibly prove they dont exist. Does that mean they are real?

The exact same thing applies to mining hardware backing cloud mining contracts. While trivial to prove, no one can disprove their existence. But if there is as little proof for their existence as there is for the existence of pink unicorns, you have to be bonkers to assume them to be real. Bonkers or a scammer trying to sell pink unicorn droppings or cloudmining contracts.

Quote
A proof in this case could be their announced closure and payout delays

Actually, that wouldnt prove anything, other than its likely a scam, but assuming it did, please note its only possible to provide that kind of evidence after the collapse, when it helps no one. So stop asking for impossible proof of non existence (ponzi claims), and begin asking for proof of existence from the cloudmining services.

But everyone expect New Year miracle.. Let's give a try. Maybe this business is not so bad.. Smiley

Are you serious? There are multiple people who claim pbmining been a ponzi for awhile. You need to check the other threads like under scam accusation and you`ll see pbmining as one of them.

So many people lost their btc, and I doubt you`ll see anything if you do put anything now since its collapsed.
A group of people claiming a company is a ponzi isn't by any means a proof. A proof in this case could be their announced closure and payout delays, but don't blindly trust opinions, especially because a number of people on this forum think all cloud minings are ponzis and all altcoins are scams Wink

At this point your still claiming this isnt a ponzi?

Why is it every collapsed and probable Ponzi i have read about on this forum your there defending them claiming its not really a scam?  Are you running some of them or just an early investor who knows it was a ponzi trying to keep them alive as long as possible so you can profit?

Pbmining was always fishy but a lot of people like myself already made ROI. You always have to approach most online cloud mining that is not from a reputable defined asic company with caution. They paid a lot of people out for almost a year now Pbmining is dead. If you think we are going to get refunds keep dreaming. In an ideal world but not this one.

No, i'm not dreaming. My guess is that now they just play to get more time and in January will fall. Fact is that service still works .. nothing more.

January will come and the silence will continue to cause more outrage....OR....the explanation given in January will not be acceptable to the waiting customers and cause another wave of outrage in the few threads covering the topic. Either way, more outrage to follow

Pbmining said that they will come out with a solution on January. So yeah just wait for another week and you will get your answer. In the meantime, just enjoy your Christmas Smiley

Yep.. That's good idea just enjoying Christmas.. in my opinion PB just want to have more time to clean shit and run away..

Damn finally someone speaking some reality check. I dont get why some people are going to get their btc back. Once its sent, poof nothing, zero, zip.

They never really showed their hardware, also mixing coins as well.

But there can be next step to get MORE time.. they can give back some small amounts of btc just to give people hope.. and after next month of playing bye bye..

Yeah the payments are a lot less for sure, somewhere between 5-10% people have been reporting. I guess all we can hope is that either payments increase or BTC starts getting distributed.

Hope people are ready for the influx in posts we are surely going to get after PB either pay out the 10% accounts are currently hashing at or payout nothing at all.

Either way, the PB customers that have not yet noticed surely will tomorrow when they expect their normal payment.

most people should already sense the services thread to be locked as a heads up.

then check here about whats going on, if they know enough around the forum. If not, its going to be a rude awakening for some folks.

I actually created this awhile ago, I was just waiting to hear back from my reports if such a thing would be useful to them as well as me.
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1JJwD4agNpgAbHpXdN936iAESZgHtstTcYIuD5_Dcbb0/viewform

Something actually useful in compiling victim stats and evidence. A petition that "we want to be paid" really doesn't help much, sorry to say.

MrTeal has kindly created a simple form to fill out to enable him to compile data from victims of pbmining, I urge as many as possible to fill it out to ensure we are speaking with one loud voice to the correct people

PBMining's No 1 customer now claiming he/she has been paid back in full today:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/airwolf-76575

IMO I am still not too sure I will see any of my investment returned as I usually feel that top investors in cloud mining companies are the owners themselves.

I think it's probably a fake account, I don't think they repaid investments yet...

They'll do something like Mt.gox and vanish Grin

The panicking started because his private info is known now, so he got worried lol, hope he gets what he deserves...

yeah i would be panicking too, if someone had all my personal info laid out across this board.

knowing im a potential target and my family, if I had one. but this is poor decisions on his part on screwing with others finance and now this is just a reaction. if I was in in his shoes, id pay it all back.

i mean what if i a non professional hitman comes at my door and shoots my mom.
No one's going to shoot this guy's mom. No one did anything to Pirate@40. No one's done anything to the BFL guys. No one's gone after AMT, or Mark Karpeles, or any of the other people who have stolen hundreds of thousands or millions.
99% of the people he's stolen from (even the big dollar ones) won't even bother filing a police report.

Why the long wait until January before repayments start for the majority, massive stall tactic to buy time??

Hopefully in that time enough files of fraud will be submitted and he will be stopped in his tracks.

How does it usually work if assets are seized? What time frame if any would we be looking at to get reimbursed?

They'll do something like Mt.gox and vanish Grin

The panicking started because his private info is known now, so he got worried lol, hope he gets what he deserves...

That guy is a shill. Account registered in 2012 but no posts until a couple days ago?

In his first post he's TorukMakto with 12.000+ GHS.
Now he's TorukMakto with 12240 GHS and customer 22537 with 112856 GHS.
BS.

Yeah that's the bit that makes me think he's a crook, why not state who he was from his first post, and why only post in the last few days?

shits just getting real, thats whats happening, the warninigs been going on for over 4 months ago.

and some saw it coming a year ago since they launched.

Yeah unfortunately it's all they have been talking about "I told you so, I told you so" etc etc

Doesn't change the fact that a lot of people are in limbo with their investment and cannot sell gh/s or their accounts

It's likely they will return your money next month. You have to wait and see how it goes, good luck.

Likely???

You're very optimistic aren't you, I wish I shared your enthusiasm but I do not.

I do however hope that you are right, I shall be watching my account very closely to see what transpires.

I have a horrible feeling it's going to be a whole load of nothing, no communication, no location known, no payouts......just.......nothing!!!

Since it's a ponzi, there can't be enough money/btc to compensate everyone....

the CEO is out i guess  Roll Eyes

and gawscamminer will follow

If I get my investment back at the price I paid for the gh/s then I will consider myself lucky and seriously research my next investment. I regret to say that I doubt this will happen.

I'm looking at threads surrounding this topic and I'm seeing the word ponzi a lot, also a conspiracy or two shining through about the government's being at the helm of these companies to prove to the public that they are needed along with their currency.

The latter makes no sense because why would they set something up which would cause them problems and put doubt on their original currency? Unless they jumped on the wagon whilst it was moving and this is their tactics to stop the wagon, slash the tyres, steal the engine and sell the rest for scrap metal?

There is plenty of food for thought, I just hope being selfish that I am not just another casualty.

According to this thread, it sounds like PB Mining is rolling things down, and will begin to compensate customers in January for contracts that they've purchased.

Read through that thread as well as some of the other PBMining threads here and you can see everything that's currently going on. But I think the biggest news right now is the thread I linked to above.
