Guys, I agree that PC is more universal then the game console but...

As you know, every month we see a lot of new games who are published on gamespot or ign and if we want to follow that tempo we must have a lot of money. I mean, I have a computer and the most of the games I used to play on PC, but now I can do that.

What I am trying to say that, you have to be prepare to buy new parts every 6 months for your PC if you like to follow the evolution of the games. At the games console is different. For example, if you buy Play Station 4, you will be always available to play all games that was developed for that machine. You don't have to care if the game is 2010 or 2012, if it is create for Play Station 4, then you can play it for sure. Smiley

Plus, if we want to compare, PC has the best resolution, but is x3 or x4 time expensive then the consoles!

but the games are cheaper for PC.
and 6month? i usually keep my pc about two years - ok i cant play with max settings but it still looks way better than on console

I have to vote for the PC when it comes to gaming because you can upgrade it to make it go as fast as you want it to.  When you are using a game system, you are limited to the limitations of the game system.  If you do not like the graphics on the PC, just pop in a new card.  It is not that simple, but it is better than spending $400 for a new system that is only a minor upgrade.

any time i bought a console i had to sell it a few month afterwards (and i tried most of them)... one didnt do AA, another one bugged me with shitty internet, ugly slow menus..and then a game you have been waiting for does not exist for your console...buy another?..no sorry.. NEVER again

maybe a steamcube, but i guess that doesnt count as console or does it Tongue

PC long term is a much better investment and as others have already pointed out you can upgrade it anytime on top of being able to do much more with it in general. Now if you're just looking for a gaming console only for playing a lot then I would recommend the Playstation especially for online gaming.

PC will always be superior hardware wise but PlayStation is great for a living room or similar because of the convenience of it all.
Also, Consoles don't have any modders/hackers ruining the experience on a game like Call of Duty or Halo aimbotting everyone.
They both have their pros and cons and are equal to me.

Consoles have modders and hackers like the pc versions.... just do a quick research and you will see that there are mods even for cod on the xbox 360/one
Last gen consoles yes there are hacks but not many people play on those anymore.

I will definitely choose Play Station above PC! Smiley

If you like to have a good computer, then you will have to give more 1200$ and be sure that every 3-6 moths you will see that there are new and better parts for you PC and the price is almost similar with your old parts. Plus, if you are buying PC, then you will gonna need monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers. Cheesy

At Play Station the things are different, cheaper and the game quality is almost same as PC. All you have to do is, go in the store and buy your PS. The only thing that you will need is a TV. I guess that in 21 century, people all have HD or Smart TV. Smiley

Well i use a pc for surfing on the internet and do some work, i don't like sitting in front of it and playing a game, that is why i use ps or other playing console to play games. In that way i can sit on my couch with a cold beer in my hand and enjoy a game on my 47" tv Smiley))
I am using a Pc too when I'm surfing the net.

Well i suppose that if we talk about something that can be used in a long time PC would be the best option, but we need to consider even the games so i think that at the end is pair between the PC and the PS

PC is the way to go for the best gaming experience in my opinion.

But, Buying consoles is actually the cheapest and easiest route to take.
if you want more overall capabillity, then you shuld just get a pc. Although building your own pc gives you more choice and can potentially save you money, you can still buy a decent pre built pc setup for $1200 if you dont have pc building skills.

If you prefer sitting at your desk hunched over the keyboard, then you want a PC.
But if you prefer sitting on the couch or in the chair with a control on your hand, then you want a PS.

 Cool Cool
