Those are more then fine you can do 2 s-3's with ease.

an s-3 tops out at 400 watts so one pcie on each side will be doing 200 watts 14awg can handle that.

That deal is pretty good. 90 bucks shipped.

no pci-e cable, those of the gpu i dunno what kind you have there, can easily sustain 180watt for 6 pin and 300 for 8 pin, no way you will melt them with a s3, this is for a single cable

you can do a test, touch the cable and see if they are hot, if they are really hot than it mean that it is at risk, but otherwise if they are cool, it's all ok

another note if you're using an adapter like those molex 4 pin to pcie, than the max wattage is around 132

Seems to happen very rarely and it is often attributed to a faulty solder job on the connector, which increases ristance and thus heat.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, seems that the PSU is specifically designed for running servers.

I will like to add that both units are at 45/47 C no hotter and the power supply sits away from each of the units on the cold isle side of the rack. Any ideas? Thanks!
