Yes, the will fit. I do it all the time.

a 1x card fits into a 1x, 4x, 8x, or 16x slot.

If the back of the slot is open, any pci-e card will fit in any slot.

I need as i can't find any place where i can buy 16x extenders with molex. That's why i ask about connecting 1x riser to 16x slot due to molex possibility.

Why would you even need a 1x->16x riser on a 16x slot? The point of said riser is to allow a 16x GPU on a 1x slot so putting it there would be nearly useless.

As for power, you're likely not going to burn anything but you may experience GPUs going offline, undervoltaging (on crap PSUs), or shutdowns due to insufficient power. I'd make sure you have a sufficient GPU and fully connect all power connectors to the GPUs from the PSU.

Hello,

I need to plug 5 cards in a 3 * 16x + 2 * 1x mobo and i wonder whether 1x -> 16x risers would fit and work on 16x mobo slots too?
And do i need all to be with additional power connectors to not burn anything on mobo? or 2 maybe 3 will be enough?
